Next in line in the series of Mega teams is Mega Charizard X. Let's see what I make of it:

Mega Charizard X.gif

Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Flare Blitz
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake

The star of the team, Mega Charizard X has monstrous physical attacks and is used as an all-out physical sweeper here. Dragon Dance is the core of the set. It raises its physical attack to insane levels and with Tough Claws, its STAB moves provide inmense damage. Flare Blitz and Dragon Claw take these spots for their high power. I take Dragon Claw over Outrage to avoid being locked in. Earthquake round out the set with some nice coverage.

Skarmory.gif

Skarmory @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Defog
- Brave Bird

After I had decided on Charizard, I decided that there were 2 very important things I needed: a Defogger/Rapid Spinner and a Steel Type. Steel types cover both Dragon and Rock types for Charizard and Defoggers take care of Charizards crippling Stealth Rock weakness. Skarmory took both these spots. Not only is it capable of doing all of the above jobs, it also sets up Stealth Rock and covers Charizards final weakness: Ground. While not quite as strong against Rock types, its inmense defense makes up for it.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Ability: Marvel Scale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 SpD
Modest Nature
- Scald
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Recover

Milotic is on the team for a similar reason to Skarmory: covering CharX's weaknesses. While Skarmory mainly does it with its typing, Milotic does it with its moveset. Scald covers Rock and Ground types, while Ice Beam covers Dragon and (once again) Ground types. Recover and Toxic allow it to stall out any special attacker without any problem. The EV spread is made so it is capable of dishing out heavy damage while taking hits as well.

Slowbro.gif

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam Psyshock
Slowbro replaces Milotic. After the changes to Mamoswine (below), I lost a bit of tanking potential. Slowbro fills this role perfectly. Its natural (especially physical) bulk allows it to take anything, even more so with this EV spread. With Scald and Ice Beam, it still has the exact same coverage as Milotic, while Slack Off and Thunder Wave allow it to stall when needed.

Mamoswine.gif

Mamoswine @ Life Orb Choice Band
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SpD 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Icicle Crash
- Knock Off

Mamoswine is here to deal damage. I needed something to deal heavy damage beside Charizard and I also needed something to take some physical hits when Skarmory couldn't switch in. Mamoswine was the ideal option. Its typing is amazing offensively and Ice Shard makes up for lackluster Speed with this spread. Earthquake and Icicle Shard are there for hard hitting STAB while Knock Off provides nice utility for the team. Life Orb was mainly used on it because I didn't know what to put on it with Milotic having Leftovers, so suggestions are very welcome.
With the new EV spread and the Choice Band, this version of Mamoswine is much more set up to deal heavy damage, while relying on Slowbro and Skarmory to tank physical hits.

Alakazam.gif

Alakazam @ Focus Sash Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Substitute

With only Milotic to deal special damage at all, my team could easily be walled by any heavy physical wall. That is where Alakazam comes in. Replacing my original idea of Scarf Gardevoir, Alakazam is capable of dishing out heavy damage with incredible coverage in Psychic, Focus Blast and Shadow Ball. The EV spread helps it outspeed many major threats and Subtitute provides extra safety, esspecially when he forces a switch.

Chansey.gif

Chansey @ Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Soft-Boiled
- Wish

Chansey rounds out this very defensive team. This and Milotic will be able to switch into any special move. The difference is that this thing provides much more utility for the team thanks to Wish. This is its main role: Wish passing. Being able to heal up my sweepers is huge, as it will become hell to take them down, especially with CharX's natural bulk. Soft-Boiled and Toxic are for Toxic stalling while Seismic Toss is here to deal at least some slight damage with this things abysmal Attack and Special Attack.

Thanks in advance for rating my team!

Hey, just stating upfront that you really should give Kazam LO. Either wat get rid of the sash because your breaking it with Subs anyway. Mamoswine, idk: You've got two ice moves, maybe NeverMeltIce or Icicle Plate. Um, Milotic isn't really viable in OU IMO. Things like Slowbro are generally better tanks and have usable SpAtt. In addition, maybe more Def bulk for Chansey, anything Physical Wipes the floor with it. PM me if you want a better review. I reckon Scarf or Band not Sash. The sets that were suggested are good and optimal

Give mamo either scarf or band or sash.
Yeah, use Slowbro over Milo.
Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 SpD
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Slack Off
- Thunder Wave
- Psyshock / Fire Blast / Ice Beam

Chansey should be 252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 HP for the bulk. No reason to add in HP.

Imo, replace Zard X's nature to Jolly. It allows you to have speed ties with positive 100 base speed mons!

:] Hope this helped.

I know this Slowbro set and would most definitely agree with replacing Milotic, if they didn't perform completely different roles. I have plenty of physical walls as both Mamoswine and Skarmory have max Def and Skarmory also has max HP. I will be using the other changes, since I can find myself in those.

Mamoswine sucks as a defensive tank. Hes has too many weaknesses and with base 80 def hes not gonna tank much.

Defensive Hippowdon is a much better replacement with better defensive typing

After considering everything I have heard, I have decided to change my team up a bit. Mamoswine will become a Banded sweeper, while Milotic will be replaced by Slowbro to perform more tanking.

One more piece of advice. If you want Mamoswine + Char X + Azumarill makes a good core. If you keep Slowbro, give it Psyshock
Thanks for the advice, but I have already used a ton of Azumarill in the past and I wanted to try something different. By the way, is a core of three heavy hitting physical attackers really good? Not mocking, just legitemately wondering.
I will be swapping out Ice Beam for Psyshock on Slowbro
