Mega Charizard X Hyper Offensive (Peaked 1712)

After playing around for weeks with my OU team I finally found a perfect balance. This team made me win Countless victories again and again. This team isn't very defensive, but the main focus of this team is to break walls and scare out opponents.

Excadrill.png
Excadrill (M) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
The purpose of Excadrill on this team is 1. Take incoming poison and electric attacks (Including the status moves) 2. Get rid of Stealth rocks to save Charizard being fodder 3. Scare out Fairy types and other threats. He works well with a life orb or leftovers but I put him a Sash because Saving Charizard is a must because Charizard is an insanely OP sweeper and Excadrill is not that bulky at all.

Bisharp.png
Bisharp @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
- Knock Off
Ah bisharp, Moved up to OU because of his steel typing; a perfect counter to those pesky fairy types and a powered up Knock off. I gave bisharp sucker punch instead of knock off because it allows him to sweep due to priority and there isn't much of a difference in power between them. Defiant allows him to sweep on switch in case your opponent decides to bring in a pokemon that has Intimidate. Added brick break for coverage, which can OHKO a non-bulky tyranitar.

Togekiss.png
Togekiss (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Air Slash
- Aura Sphere
- Grass Knot
- Dazzling Gleam
I've always been a fan of togekiss due to Serene Grace, which Doubles added effects such as parahax and flinching. This set is geared towards forcing switches and catching your opponent off-guard with his choice scarf. He can take super effective special hits due to his amazing special bulk and can stop sweepers in their tracks. I added Grass knot (Instead of Flamethrower) to take care of those pesky unaware quagsires which are used a lot in OU and quagsire is a major threat to this team in particular. Aura sphere takes care of steel types anyway. Also in this team to take care of fighting and ground types, which provide are this team's main weaknesses.

Greninja.jpg
Greninja (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse
- U-turn
Greninja is an excellent special attacker due to it's Speed, Special Attack and a newly introduced ability, Protean. This set has loads of coverage and can Easily OHKO a super effective hit on a non-bulky pokemon. U-turn is to deal some damage to special walls before switching out and nailing the opponent with one of this team's physical attackers.

Charizard.png
Charizard (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch
Charizard, rising from the very bottom of competitive battling to the top of OU; and thats all thanks to his mega evolutions. I chose Adamant over Jolly because there are just some pokemon that charizard can't faint and that little extra attack helps him do so. Due to tough claws, Charizard gets a mega attack boost even after his increased attack in mega form. His STAB attacks do massive damage while earthquake gives him that needed coverage to defeat those annoying little Rock types that pop up from time to time. Just make sure you avoid rocks at all costs.

Swampert.png
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Damp
EVs: 56 Atk / 252 HP / 100 SDef / 100 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Punch
- Earthquake
- Waterfall
And finally my lead, Swampert is a favourite of many pokemon fans. However, that is not why he is in my OU team. Swampert is a great lead due to his awesome bulk and typing, his attacks have coverage over every type, he only has one major and uncommonly found weakness (which is grass, unless a Venasaur is around) and walls Talonflame, which is a huge threat to my team. Swampert is pretty much just a more awesome version of quagsire; except that swampert can attack decently and quagsire has Unaware and recover.

A few things:

Bisharp - Bisharp doesn't need Brick Break, as Fighting and Steel have very similar coverage. I recommend switching Brick Break for Knock Off. STAB Knock Off > slightly more coverage (especially after an SD).
Charizard - Charizard's HP should be and odd number so it takes minimal SR damage. Throw those 4 HP EVs into Def of SpD.
Swampert - Swampert should be running Ice Punch > Avalanche, as Ice Punch is much more reliable. The EVs on this are really funky (splitting Def/SpDef EVs is generally bad). I recommend just going for a bulky attacking spread (252 HP/252 Atk/4 your choice, Adamant).

Other than those things, nice team you have there!
