[OVERVIEW]
Mega Camerupt's minuscule niche as a tank comes from its typing, which allows it to check Pokemon such as Salazzle, Raikou, and Registeel, and high firepower with Sheer Force. This, however, is immediately offset by its poor speed, average bulk, and bad defensive typing. It also has issues breaking more specially defensive Pokemon such as Florges, Snorlax, and Milotic, and it is easily revenge killed by the likes of Rhyperior, Araquanid, and Tyrantrum. Mega Camerupt also has a lot of competition from Mega Blastoise and Mega Sceptile for a team's Mega spot because they provide more utility.

Unfortunately, Mega Camerupt's subpar stats outside of its Special Attack and weak defensive typing mean that it will rarely ever succeed in a serious RU battle. Seriously, use any Mega Evolution other than Mega Camerupt.

hi, after discussion w qc we have decided defensive sets are generally more effective cause it takes advantage of its unique typing. please tag me once youre done re-writing

It also has issues breaking more specially defensive Pokemon such as Florges, Snorlax, and Milotic and it is easily revenge killed by the likes of Rhyperior, Araquanid, and Tyrantrum. A team's mega slot is better occupied by Mega Blastoise, Mega Sceptile, or Mega Glalie, which all have better utility than Mega Camerupt ever will.

you need to talk about it beating lazzle in the positive part of the overview cause its one of the biggest niches it has. also i wouldnt really mention glalie, its not very relevant in the current meta, just say that theres a LOT of competition for the mega slot

Mega Camerupt can attempt to tank hits from Pokemon Pokemob like Raikou, Metagross (eq does a ton find another example), and Salazzle, while crippling defensive checks like Cresselia with Toxic you can replace this with something about resttalk. Unfortunately, Mega Camerupt's subpar stats outside of its Special Attack and weak defensive type it mean that it will rarely ever succeed in a serious RU battle. Seriously, use any other Mega Evolution above Mega Camerupt.
