The first one of the Mega Teams that is not in OU, a UU team with Mega Blastoise. Due to not being used to the UU meta, I asked for a tutor on the Battling 101 forums and got it. Sadly, the timezone difference and general availability we didn't speak much and made this team, which still feels quite unfinished. Anyway, here it goes:

Mega Blastoise.gif

Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Rain Dish
EVs: 56 HP / 252 SpA / 200 HP
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Scald
- Dark Pulse
- Ice Beam Aura Sphere

As opposed to previous Mega Teams I have made, most notably both of the Charizard ones, this Mega is not a sweeper you can easily build a team around. In stead, Blastoise provides nice Rapid Spin support and can use Scald to burn physical Attackers. Thanks to its natural bulk and the small amount of HP investment it is also capable of taking hits quite well. Also, it's a Water type, so is a good start to a G/F/W core. This combination formed the basis of my first UU team ever.
More in depth to the set, I use Rapid Spin for obvious reasons and Scald over Hydro Pump for the burn chance. Dark Pulse is a great Mega Launcher boosted coverage move. Ice Beam replaces the Dragon Pulse that was originally there in order to get better coverage.
Aura Sphere replaces Ice Beam on this set in order to better cover Dark types like Umbreon.

Whimsicott.gif

Whimsicott @ Pixie Plate Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe 248 HP / 132 Def / 128 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Giga Drain Tailwind
- U-Turn
- Encore

Whimsicott is the second part of the G/F/W core and is the first sweeping threat of this team. It is incredibly fast and with the Prankster ability is easily able to force switches using Encore, and then keep up momentum by U-Turning on the switch. With the Pixie Plate and STAB, Moonblast does a tremendous amount of damage to anything that doesn't resist it, while Giga Drain provides a secondary STAB and some nice extra coverage. It does get walled hard by Fire types, which are covered by Blastoise, and Steel types, which are destroyed by...

This set was completely changed after multiple suggestions to make Whimsicott defensive. Tailwind provides a nice boost to some of my slower Pokémon like Doublade and Blastoise while the new EVs allow Whimsicott to take way more hits.

Roserade.gif

Roserade @ Black Sludge
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 128 HP / 128 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder

Roserade is a new addition to the team after status condition, specifically Burn and Poison proved to be a major problem. This Roserade also gives my team something it lacked before: something to take special hits. Thanks to the EV spread and dual STAB moves, Roserade can deal plenty of damage while taking some hits itself. Aromatherapy is the main reason this thing is on the team, Giga Drain keeps it healthy since I lack Synthesis, Sludge Bomb deals damage and has a decent chance at poisoning, while Sleep Powder could give Roserade a few free turns.

Entei.gif

Entei @ Choice Band
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Extreme Speed
- Stone Edge
- Flare Blitz

Entei! The second Legendary Beast I use in my Mega Teams and the finisher of the G/F/W core. It finishes off Steel and Grass types that Whimsicott and Blastoise respectively struggle with. With the Choice Band, every last one of its moves will hit incredibly hard. Sacred Fire is the main STAB move when PP is not a problem, as the huge burn chance is really good. Extreme Speed is great for revenge killing or OHKO-ing some faster opponents. Stone Edge provides some coverage against Fire types and Flare Blitz is there for when the burn from Sacred Fire is not needed or there is no PP left.

Nidoqueen.gif

Nidoqueen @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Modest Nature
- Sludge Wave
- Earth Power
- Stealth Rock
- Ice Beam

What my team really lacked is a SR setter and Nidoqueen filled this role quite well. Apart from setting up the rocks with reliable Speed, it also deals hefty damage with its Sheer Force Life Orb boosted attacks. Sludge Wave is its main STAB move, as its high BP allows for heavy damage on anything that is not immune to it or resists it. Stealth Rock is used for obvious reasons and Ice Beam is there for coverage. There is some minor HP investment in order to at least get some bulk.

Hydreigon.gif

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Dark Pulse
- Draco Meteor
- Fire Blast Taunt
- U-Turn Roost

Originally, this Hydreigon was Choice Scarfed, but this left me with too little power to OHKO Nidoking, which was and still is a huge threat to this team, being able to hit every one of the six Pokemon super effectively. With the Life Orb, Draco Meteor does OHKO, which gives me a way to revenge kill it. Back to the set though, Hydreigon was a Pokemon I was planning on using in one of my OU teams, until replacing it with Gengar. It hits incredibly hard and is even capable of getting out of danger quickly with U-Turn. Dark Pulse is the STAB move of choice when the added power of Draco Meteor is not needed, as its SpA drop is quite harsh. It does however hit way harder and is needed to OHKO many Pokemon, most notably Nidoking (as mentioned above). Fire Blast provides coverage and U-Turn makes a nice combo with Whimsicott.
Taunt and Roost replace Fire Blast and U-Turn in order to become more of a wallbreaker as opposed to a straight up sweeper. Roost also allows for recovery to counteract LO.

Doublade.gif

Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head
- Sacred Sword

Doublade does three very important things for this team. First off, it gives some much needed bulk to this heavily offensive team, while still being an offensive threat. Speaking of which, the second thing it does is provide with a setup sweeper for when a Blissey or the like comes out. Lastly, it completes a Fairy/Dragon/Steel core with Whimsicott and Hydreigon which me and my tutor didn't notice we had until we added this to our team. The set is relatively obvious. Swords Dance is used to boost it attack stat to monstrous levels, Shadow Sneak provides priority STAB to make up for its low Speed, Iron Head is some nice STAB for when it is somehow faster or if it can take a hit and then OHKO and Sacred Sword provides coverage against Steel types.

Thanks in advance for rating my team. Any advice is appreciated, though I will not be changing out Blastoise for any other Pokemon, as it is the Pokemon the team is built around. Especially advice on how to beat Nidoking is very welcome.

Hey dude, I like this team a lot! It looks really nice. Pretty much all of the pokemon on the team synergies really well together. I only have a few basic changes to make the team work a lot better together.

I suggest you run Aura Sphere > Ice Beam on Mega Blastoise. With Aura Sphere you can lure in pokemon like Umbreon which would otherwise give your team a decent amount of trouble since it can shutdown Nidoqueen and Hydreigon. Ice Beam is nice for pokemon like Salamence and Roserade although you have checks for both.

Next up I suggest changing Whimsicott to a Defensive Variant. A defensive variant will really piece this team together since you can use it as a great pivot to get free switch-ins to pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Toise, and Entei. You also now have a check to Rain Dance Swampert, Feraligatr, and Hydreigon. Your team did not really need the offensive presence since the rest of your team packs a punch. The set would look something like this:

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Def / 128 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Stun Spore
- U-turn
- Encore

Stun Spore gives nice speed control since your team is not the fastest as well as an "emergency button" vs fast threats such as Mega Aerodactyl.

My last suggestion is to change the set on Hydreigon to Taunt + Roost. It is obvious that you have a Scarf Hydreigon set on a Life Orb variant. Taunt + Roost gives you a solid check to Entei and Chandelure as well as helping breaking stall with Taunt. Here is your set:

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Taunt
- Roost

Good luck with the team, it looks really solid!

Hi AD Thunderboy,

Interesting looking BO team! I definitely agree with Christo's changes above, and think they'll give you a lot more general viability. One interesting change I think you can make, though, is to give Whimsicott a pretty niche tech option that can change the pace of your team and allow you a chance to sweep more capably with some of your bulkier attacks (which, as I'm sure you know, are a bit on the slow side).

Whimsicott @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 248 HP / 132 Def / 128 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Tailwind
- U-turn
- Encore

Stun Spore is a great option on Whimsi, don't get me wrong. But in this case, if you see the chance to go for game, you can set up a tailwind enabling your team to outspeed nearly all relevant threats in the UU tier. Mons like Mega Blastoise, Hydreigon (especially the LO version) and especially Nidoqueen are able to run through offensive teams with the double speed available to them. I like this set because otherwise you may struggle with teams that hit very hard and fast, because while you have a lot of power, you're going to be outsped pretty often on everything but your initial Whimsicott.

Hey man, really like the idea behind the team as it is very simple but everything makes sense and fits together nicely. I'm just here to second everyone's suggestion to make Whimsicott defensive but have a slightly different idea for your Hydreigon than Taunt Roost if you still have a bit of trouble with common stall cores since Taunt Roost can have trouble with those. Instead, I was thinking Specs Hydreigon could help out with a slight twist from normal variations.

Hydreigon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dark Pulse
- Flash Cannon
- Focus Blast / U-turn

This set makes nice Volt turn core while not wearing yourself down with Life Orb. The slight tech of Focus Blast > U-turn helps you break down Blissey just a bit faster provided you can whittle it with Stealth Rocks and pressure earlier on. Focus Blast also assists versus Empoleon who baits in your Nidoqueen on U-turn and lives with Shuca Berry, proving problematic. Flash Cannon also baits in Florges and 2hkos which is a nice bonus. Granted, this isn't a catch all solution as being locked in comes with its own set of problems, but I think it could help out.

Thanks for all of the suggestions! I will be making the following changes:
  • Mega Blastoise: Aura Sphere > Ice Beam. As suggested by Christo The Gr8. My team has checks to the things Ice Beam covers but struggles with Dark types covered by Aura Sphere
  • Whimsicott: will become a defensive variant. The Tailwind set is one I actually suggested to my tutor when we had just decided on Whimsicott, but he said an offensive variant would be better. I will be trying out the Tailwind set first before possibly switching to Stun Spore if I don't like it.
  • Hydreigon: Will be keeping the Life Orb set but switch it to Taunt Roost. I might use the Choice Specs set later, but I have been liking the possibility of switching moves after using Scarf for a while and Roost allows me to stay healthy even with the LO.

After getting destroyed by status completely in multiple of the games, I temporarily replaced Whimsicott with Roserade. For the exact set, see the edit I made to my original post.

Hey dude, I see you switched out Whimsicott for Roserade and this change is definitely not going to work. Whimsicott was a crucial pokemon that you needed on the team to have it be viable. Without Whimsicott, you outright lose to Life Orb Hydreigion/ Special LO Salamence. Whimsicott also helped check pokemon like Dragon Dance Feraligatr, Rain Dance Swampert, and DD Mence from plowing through your team. I'm also not sure what you mean when you say you are weak to status. Both Roost Hydreigon and Whimsicott are great at absorbing Scald Burns and you have a Nidoqueen to absorb Toxic Spikes. So yeah, I would 100% switch back to Defensive Whimsicott, good luck!

Thanks for the advice once again. I will however not be following it just yet this time. Roserade has been working great on this team and it has happened twice now that my entire team was Toxiced/Burned and I was simply slowly dying without being able to do anything.
If Dragon types become too much of a problem, I will definetly be switching Whimsicott back in. I however feel that Roserade does check water types well enough esspecially in combination with Blastoise. I have seen your advice and will consider it, but for now, I won't be changing anything.

For some last confirmation, I will be keeping Roserade. It has been extremely useful to me in the last few matches, more useful that Whimsicott ever was (even though it was definitely not useless). This team is pretty much finished now
