ORAS OU Mega-Aggron + Support/Goons

The main purpose of building this team was to have a mega-aggron team, which could both sweep with aggron and absolutely tank physical hits, which he's very capable of, I survived a gliscor +6 EQ once, it was gorgeous.

Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Avalanche
- Hone Claws

I saw an aggron team in work, and I looked into it, and I found the numerous sets you can run extremely interesting. I tried the 252 speed + health set, which was EQ, HS, Hone Claws and Rock Polish. Due to his excelent Defense + Filter Ability, I had a sweeping monster, but one thing... He got destroyed by Special Attacks, so I decided to change up his set completely.

I went for 252 HP for bulk/ 80 Attack /186 SpD -- I chose these, they're not specifically calculated or fine tuned (I should do that); however, it allowed me to reach a nice enough Attack to do pretty big damage, take both Special and Physical hits. Avalanche is a monster against all Ice weak Pokemon, it's just so good to take a Physical hit, then destroy them next hit. 496 Def is nothing to laugh at.

sylveon.gif

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 212 Def / 44 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Protect
- Hyper Voice

I needed a strong Fairy user who can hit like a truck, and be super bulky in both Defense, and Special Defense. Seriously, these investments bring its SpD to like 310, Def to 240... Not bad, right? She's a useful cleric, who can take status off my whole team, pass Wishes to Aggron to keep him healthy. Hit past Subs, it's amazing.

garchomp-5.gif

Garchomp @ Focus Sash
Ability: Rough Skin
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Swords Dance

This set, I saw it somewhere and I've always been interested it. I needed a good Rock setter + suicide lead, so who better than Jolly Sash Chomp? He hits like a truck, has guarenteed rocks, and I've just swept with SD + EQ/DC. I love Chomp on most of my teams.

starmie.gif

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Reflect Type
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Recover

I chose Bulky + Reflect Type, because it can trash on Zard-Y and it just makes it really annoying to deal with. Obviously Spin gets rid of Hazards, Scald for 100% Burn chance, overall, just an annoying Pokemon who can chunk and be annoying.

gengar-3.gif

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 8 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Sludge Wave
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
- Taunt

One of my wall breakers + SpA sweeper, honestly, I had a bunch of problems, and i wasn't sure what to run, so I went for him, because he hits hard and he dealt with a lot of problems I have, but honestly I feel like there's other Pokemon that could probably be ran here.

heatran.gif

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Earth Power
- Flash Cannon
- Toxic

I ran an offensive set on a bulky build, purely SpD set, because I was weak Ferrowise, and I really like it's offensive capabilities, but yet again, this was another pokemon I wasn't 100% sure on.

Sorry if my descriptions were a bit short, I just wasn't really sure what to write for some pokemon, because that's why I'm here, I honestly want to get this team fix, perhaps remade? As long as it has Aggron-Mega, as I find it extremely fun.

Why is M-Aggron Avalanche over Ice Punch? Also, why non-max SpA Gengar?

1. I believe that it's not going to outspeed any threats it needs to hit, so I'd rather the huge boost in power, which it potentially gets.- it's not gonna outspeed a Chomp or Lando-T and they both usually go for the EQ, because it's a Steel-type.

2. I believe it lives something with +8 HP, don't remember what.

Hey Darts502_A/M nice team , even I tried Mega Aggron a few months ago it was decent but looking at your Mega Aggron's set it looks kinda weird , I'd suggest to run 252 HP / 240 SpD / 16 Def , this EVs let you counter mons like Bisharp and helps you in taking special hits too also I think Ice Punch / Fire Punch > Hone Claws as we know a slow set up sweeper is easily wear down. Coming to next point I think Unaware Clefable > Sylveon it lets you counter Weavile which has a slim chance to 2HKO Sylveon , it also helps you against mons like Dragonite and Gyarados which you are weak to.

After that you looks seriously weak to
Mega Charizard X so I think Landorus-t > Sash Chomp , Sash chomp is more of a lead which is good in Hyper offense teams not balanced so I think Landorus-t is rly helpful for your team as it gives you a sand counter , Earthquake switch-in and Zard X switch-in.

At last I wanna tell you Gengar runs max SpA and not 8 HP , but I think
Thundurus > Gengar , it lets you check Mega Gyarados and Mega Pinsir , Mega Gyarados is quite threating to your team , unfortunately Mold Breaker ignores Unaware so Clefable can't counter it and it can 6-0 you.

Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD
Careful Nature
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Avalanche
- Ice Punch / Fire Punch

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Protect
- Moonblast
- Wish
- Heal Bell

Thundurus @ Life Orb / Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt / Volt Switch
- Focus Blast
- HIdden Power Ice / Taunt
- Thunder Wave

Hey cool team but it could use a couple changes. You may to add more description to your RMT as you need three lines for each Pokemon. I would run Fire Punch over Hone Claws on Mega Aggron to help against Scizor and Ferrothorn which mostly use Aggron as setup fodder. You could try out Thunder Wave over Avalance to prevent Gyarados or other setup mons from 6-0ing your team. Honestly just use Clefable instead of Sylveon as its a much better Cleric by its bulk in its defense and abilities. Sylveon isn't even that good as a cleric as it poorly can take a physical hit. Me and Sonired discussed on which set Garchomp would be better off with and we ended of two options. The First option is Tank Chomp to tank physical attacks and return back about 25% of recoil from the Rough Skin+Rocky Helmet which doesn't sound like much but is actually a lot. The Second option is Lum Berry over Focus Sash on Garchomp to help lower the risks of being Burned ruining the purpose of setting up on Sword Dances. I don't see a use or purpose with Gengar having Psychic as Shadow Ball does much better than it, I suggest running Focus Blast to hit Dark types and also Steel types giving it somewhat coverage, also run Max Special Attack instead of 8 HP EVs. Lastly I would run Offensive Starmie since opposing Gengar destroy the team, Starmie will act as a revenge killer against Gengar while still being a hazard removal. I hoped I helped, have a nice day ^_^
