* With a brilliant unique item in Thick Club, a respectable Speed stat for Trick Room, and access to Lightning Rod, Alolan Marowak is a great offensive Pokemon for Trick Room and balance teams.

* Flare Blitz is Alolan Marowak's strongest Fire-type STAB move, responsible for handling common Fire-weak Pokemon such as Rillaboom, Celesteela, and Venusaur. Max Flare can also set sun for Alolan Marowak, boosting the power of its Fire-type move and mitigating its Water weakness.

* Shadow Bone is Alolan Marowak's most consistent Ghost-type STAB move that also comes with a chance to lower the foe's Defense, making its next hit even stronger; Poltergeist is a stronger alternative, but its lower accuracy and reliance on the opponent still having an item make it less consistent. These both provide access to Max Phantasm, lowering the opposing Pokemon's Defense for physically attacking partners such as Urshifu-R and Kartana and making Alolan Marowak increasingly more threatening as the drops stack.

* Bonemerang allows Alolan Marowak to notably beat Incineroar, as well as hitting Heatran and Coalossal 4x super effectively. It also gives Alolan Marowak Max Quake when Dynamaxed, patching up its otherwise meager Special Defense.

* Lightning Rod is the best ability for Alolan Marowak, as it allows it to support Electric-weak partners such as Celesteela and Tapu Fini nicely. It also redirects Eerie Impulse from Thundurus and Porygon2, letting special attacking partners such as Celesteela and Nihilego continue undeterred.

second sentence in pt 1 is weird because its basically just pt 5 restated. either expand upon it in one of two places but not both

flare blitz -> max flare sets sun, eliminating water weakness and stronger fire moves good, should be stated

you can mention that phantasm boosts compound which makes marowak (bigger picture, any physical ghost) very threatening if given the chance to just freely launch attacks
