MU or Manifectured Usage is a micrometagame project in which a beginning amount of about 20 Pokemon will be chosen in order to create a controled yet fun meta. Each two or three weeks, new pokemon will be introduced to the metagame through popular voting and testing.
These mons are generally going to be pokemon that struggle even in metagames like PU and ZU.

Rules

Clauses: OU clauses.
Bans: ZU, NFE, LC, Baton Pass, Moody and Shadow Tag.
Unbans: Arena Trap.

How does M.U. differs itself from other existing unofficial metagames?

A general complaint from many users that have stopped playing competitive pokemon is that the levels of powercreep are absurd or that the metagames are becoming more and more stale. MU proposes a new dynamic system that allows for more interactivity between the community and the metagame itself, while showcasing pokemon that aren't really seen anywhere else, making for a fun yet balanced metagame

Viability rankings

S Rank: Reserved for Pokemon who can sweep or wall significant portions of the metagame with little support, and Pokemon who can support other Pokemon with very little opportunity cost ("free turns"). Also the home of Pokemon who can easily perform multiple roles effectively, increasing their versatility and unpredictability. If the Pokemon in this rank have any flaws, those flaws are thoroughly mitigated by their substantial strengths.

Krokorok
182186
Oricorio-Pa'u

A Rank: Reserved for Pokemon who can sweep or wall significant portions of the metagame, but require some support or have some flaws that prevents them from doing this consistently. Supporting Pokemon in this rank may give opponents free turns or cannot create free turns easily themselves, but can still do their job most of the time.

A week after the introduction of MU to the Pet Mods subforum, we're finally going to introduce new pokemon to the metagame through our second ever newcomers test!

How does it work?
The test will be divided into three rounds: discussion, selection and introduction.
During the discussion round, the community will give their thoughts on possible new pokemon to be added to the metagame and discuss how adding such pokemon would impact the metagame.
After the community comes to a conclusion about the discussion round, the testing round will begin, with the most discussed entries being added, separately, to the metagame for about a week of playtest each.
Finally, after the testing round, a poll will be made to decide which entry will be MU's newest addition (the introduction round).

Important:
  • Be polite;
  • Do not flood the thread;
  • Post entries with consistency (give reasoning to the pokemon you will be submiting/discussing, preferrably with roles and sets it can play on the metagame).

If you have any questions, contact the MU moderators. Everyone is welcome! With all being said, let the newcomers test begin!

Chimecho can be added, because
[12:30:36] Sceptile383: .usage chimecho, pu
[12:30:36] *TIBot: Chimecho - #159 in PU | Usage: 0.67708% | Raw count: 2,026 | Weight: 0.45362592527
its barely used and might not be used that much even in MU.
It can serve as a Defog and status removal (Heal Bell)
can also run more offensive sets with Cosmic Power + stored Power + recover + filler
tho it doesn't seem to be able to do much other than that

I was thinking about Spinda, because
[21:02] MightyNico: .usage spinda, pu
[21:02] *TIBot: Spinda - #230 in PU | Usage: 0.23138% | Raw count: 1,111 | Weight: 0.23730937795
It has an awful usage overall in PU. MU might be a bit better but we can only wish.
Even with 60 in every stats, I thought we could run a Choice Scarf Spinda and run Superpower on it (move it learns from Dream World) and its access to Rapid Spin, it could be monstruous. Think about it. You're against a low HP threath, just use superpower and gets instant boosts while dealing damage. Even with this said, it would be hard to run it because of low BST, which mean it can get stall easily, but I thought it would be a good mon for the tier. Using scarf with Adamant nature would do a bit of damage.

Chimecho sounds like a great option for balance and stall teams with it's support options such as Wish, Defog, Knock Off, Heal Bell, etc. and capability of stopping Oricorio-Pa'U, Poipole and Hakamo-o. A cool offensive Cosmic Power set also sounds great, although Krokorok's overwhelming presence in the meta could make it difficult for Chimecho to pull off a sweep, although Chimecho can still eat some hits lol.

252 Atk Choice Band Krokorok Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. +1 248 HP / 84+ Def Colbur Berry Chimecho: 115-136 (32.5 - 38.5%) -- 98.9% chance to 3HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Krokorok Knock Off vs. +2 248 HP / 84+ Def Chimecho: 116-140 (32.8 - 39.6%) -- 99.8% chance to 3HKO
It actually avoids a 2HKO with this spread.

Chimecho @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 84 Def / 176 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stored Power
- Cosmic Power
- Recover
- Hidden Power [Fighting] / Heal Bell

Hidden Power [Fighting] helps muscle through Dark-types like Krokorok if you can succesfully get some boosts with the right plays. Heal Bell breaks through Toxic from walls like Bastiodon. The speed EVs allow Chimecho to outpace Adamant max speed Pignite and Heatmor. Toxic could be used for Vullaby. Sounds like a fun mon.

Now, as for my submission, it's Electabuzz!

Electabuzz @ Eviolite
Ability: Vital Spirit
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
- Low Kick
- Volt Switch

This set can break through popular defensive cores like Bastiodon x Vullaby with it's great coverage moves. With Eviolite, Electabuzz can actually tank some hits from the likes of Emolga and Oricorio-Pa'U. It would fit a great role as a wallbreaker and an offensive pivot.
