Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Energy Ball
Manaphy lights up UU! With its Tail Glow Set, Manaphy is a terrifying sweeper, being able to set up on Skeledirge, Scizor, and Skarmory lacking Whirlwind. Surf is the primary STAB move, being able to 2HKO Fezandpiti and OHKO Cobalion after boosts. Ice Beam hits foes that can tank a +3 Surf such as such as Hydrapple, Tornadus-Therian, and Clodsire. Energy Ball is used to muscle past opposing water-types such as Rotom-W and Slowking. Manaphy struggles to get past Toxapex who can use Toxic to put Manaphy on a timer and also remove its boosts with Haze, so teammates that can help such as Latios and Thundurus-Therian are appreciated. Faster threats such as Latios, Zarude and Ogerpon, can pose major problems to Manaphy, as they threaten to deal major damage to Manaphy, so defensive answers such as Lokix, and Heatran are greatly appreciated. Deoxys-Speed can set up hazards, which can put Tornadus-Therian into KO range, and sweepers such as Revaroom appreciate Manaphy luring in Zarude and Meowscarada to be able to potentially sweep.

Surf is the primary STAB move, being able to 2HKO Skeledirge and Fezandpiti after boosts. you mention skeledirge here too but skele is often going to tera against you, i'd remove it for another mention -- something like ohkoing cobalion Ice Beam is used to hit Water-resistant threats and flying-types such as hits foes that can tank a +3 Surf such as (the sentence just reads kinda awkwardly, make it more simple) Hydrapple, Tornadus-Therian, and Clodsire. Energy Ball is used to muscle past opposing water-types such as Rotom-W and Slowking. Leftovers is for increased recovery. Manaphy struggles to get past Toxapex who can use Toxic to put Manaphy on a timer and also haze away Tail Glow Boosts remove its boosts with Haze, so teammates that can help such as Latios and Thundurus-Therian are appreciated. Excadrill provides hazard removal, which is invaluable as hazards can greatly chip Manaphy. it's not that hazard weak Faster threats such as Latios, Zarude and Ogerpon, can pose major problems to Manaphy, as they threaten to deal major damage to Manaphy, so defensive answers such as Lokix, and Heatran are greatly appreciated.

you've got some extra room now so talk about the mons that help manaphy likes to be paired with on hyper offense e.g. sweepers that can take advantage of meowscarada/zarude such as revavroom and hazard setters like deo-s that can push stuff like av torn into ko range.

qc 1/1 once that's all done, good stuff
