Magnet Rise and Air Balloon fully protect it from incoming Ground-type attacks, most notably Necrozma-DM's Earthquake. Iron Defense and Body Press allow Magnezone to have the best shot at beating opposing Steel-types and even dish out some decent damage against other foes such as Groudon and Yveltal. Thunder Wave provides extra protection against the likes of Dragon Dance Necrozma-DM. Removing Necrozma-DM is appreciated greatly by sweepers such as Galarian Darmanitan and Geomancy Xerneas. Magnezone's magnetic personality also lets it remove Ferrothorn, which benefits Dragon Dance Zekrom and Zygarde.
