Pros:
1) The best defensive typing in the game, it has only 2 weaknesses and those are Ground and Fire types, immune to Dragon and Poison, neutral to water, electric, fighting, ghost and steel and resisting everything else, combined with her decent HP and great defenses, allows her to be a durable mon, that can stick long enough to get what she wants
2) its move pool, is fantastic, with having access to 3 boosting moves and a plethora of coverage moves, from the famous bolt-beam to psychic, grass, ghost and fighting, allow her to be a Swiss army knife, capable of hitting everything neutrally and at the very least something super effective
3) Soul Heart, allows her to be a monster that can roll out of control, combined with her typing and movepool, the chances of her getting a boost in the battle are basically guaranteed, this specially goes well with her signature move, Fleur Cannon, which lowers her special attack by 2 after using it
4) The amount of viable sets she has is comparable to gen 4 Mewtwo, you will never know exactly what she is until she hits the field, and as we are gonna see in a moment, she can do a lot
Cons:
1) She is slow, and while she can turn the tables on this with some sets, there's a good chance that you don't need speed control for it, meaning you can attack first
2) While a great movepool, sometimes it feels like she wants all the moves, and while this 4 move slot syndrome is not as bad as other mons, it is true that she has one
3) strong and bulky grounds and fire types are prevalent in this meta, and while terastalization can potentially help, this means you have to give away one of her best qualities, her typing
Tera Potential:
Defensive tera on magearna is not recommended due to her having the best defensive type of the game already, offensively has some interesting options
Ghost: Allows her to emergency block spikes if needed
Water: Allows her to change her weakness to fire to a resistance and go from weak to ground to neutral
Fairy: You get a fire and ground neutrality, keep the dragon immunity and get a stronger Fleur Cannon
Flying: You now are Ground Immune and Fire neutral
Potential sets:
Buckle up lads, this list's a long one

The Sweet Devil (Magearna) @ Weakness Policy
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shift Gear/Iron Defense
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Stored Power
This double dance set allows Magearna to boost to inhuman levels. The combination of multiple boosting moves, Weakness Policy, Stored Power and good bulk allows her to easily set up and take over the game. Stored Power is the move that makes the set shine, especially since Stored Power ignores unaware. Draining Kiss + tera Fairy allows her to potentially gain HP back after she gets hit. Calm Mind allows her to boost her special attack and defense. The last move is either Shift Gear for a better matchup against offensive teams, or Iron Defense, which is less common than Shift Gear, but more useful when you wanna level up her defenses. The spread is for maximum destructive power

Specs (Magearna) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Fairy / Water / Flying
EVs: 236 HP / 252 SpA / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch / Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Fleur Cannon
- Flash Cannon / Aura Sphere/ Trick
Choice Specs is the most direct way to blast the enemy. Volt Switch allows you to keep momentum while doing great damage, and thunderbolt can be used as an alternative if you don't need the pivot option and has more power. Ice Beam complements either option, combined, they make the great Bolt Beam, allowing her to hit everything neutrally. Fleur Cannon is her fairy stab, combined with specs, allows her to potentially nuke her way out of a problem. The last move can be Flash Cannon for her other stab that can hit fairies, Aura Sphere to hit Dark/Steel types, and Trick, which allows her to potentially cripple defensive mons with the choice lock restriction. The EVs are for bulk, power and enough speed to out speed no speed Corviknight and Skeledirge. And tera options are for the reasons I have explained above

Specially defensive Maid (Magearna) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 HP / 240 SpD / 16 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Fleur Cannon / Draining Kiss
- Shadow Ball / Ice Beam
- Flash Cannon
This set right here makes use of her great Special Defense, and makes her into a pivot that can tank a lot of special hits. Volt Switch allows her to keep momentum safely thanks to her slow speed, allowing her to go second most of the time and bring a teammate safely. Fleur Cannon is a great stab move that can damage enemies, even if uninvested, Draining Kiss is not nearly as strong as Fleur Cannon, but it allows her to get some health back. Shadow Ball can be used to brawl with Ghost types, while Ice Beam makes the Bolt-Beam combo. Lastly, Flash Cannon allows her to hit other fairies for super effective damage. The EVs are for maximum bulk on the special side, with 16 to underspeed Corviknight. Tera Type Water allows her to have a better matchup against ground and fire types, special mentions goes to Skeledirge, who is a special attacker ghost type that has a fire typing, and therefore, a good matchup against her

Physically defensive maid (Magearna-Original) @ Shuca Berry / Heavy-Duty Boots / Leftovers
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 60 SpA / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Fleur Cannon
- Thunderbolt / Volt Switch
- Pain Split
- Spikes
So this is an experimental set that I have personally created (shout-outs to AndViet for helping with the spread distribution). Magearna got access to Spikes this gen, with how good her bulk is and how valuable entry hazards are in this gen, it is only natural that a set dedicated to it comes to light. Fleur Cannon smokes opposing hazard setters like Garchomp and Great Tusk, and doing 53% minimum to Ting Lu. Thunderbolt is the preferred option, thanks to having a 2HKO on Physically defensive Corviknight. Volt Switch can also be used to keep momentum, in case you want a pivot that can also set spikes. Pain Split is an unreliable but still decent way of recovery, and can potentially reveal the amount of HP the opponent has (thanks to the nature of the move). As mentioned before, the 60 SpA + modest helps with her matchup against some hazard removers, 20 Spe allows her to out speed no speed Corviknight and Skeledirge. 176 Def allows her to live one hit from offensive Tusk. Tera Ghost allows her to block a rapid spin attempt if you want to keep spikes. The items can vary, Shuca Berry allows her to have a better matchup against Ground types. Heavy-Duty Boots allows her to come at any time and regain more hazards. Leftovers helps with the recovery department.

The Beuty and the beast (Magearna) @ Weakness Policy / Eject Pack
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Trick Room
- Fleur Cannon
- Aura Sphere / Focus Blast / Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Flash Cannon
- Aura Sphere / Focus Blast / Thunderbolt / Ice Beam / Flash Cannon
This set is vital for every Trick Room team that wants to be viable, the reason why she is one of the best setters is due to her already low speed and great power. Fleur Cannon is a nuke that goes well with both Weakness Policy (to have incredible offense) and Eject Pack (which allows her to pivot out after using Fleur Cannon). The rest of the spread is for just coverage, pick whatever your team needs the most. The EVs are for Trick Room related chaos

Pure maid (Magearna) @ Leftovers
Ability: Soul-Heart
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 248 HP / 136 Def / 96 SpA / 8 SpD / 20 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind / Shift Gear
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Fleur Cannon / Draining Kiss
This set tones down the explosive factor from the double dance set and transforms it into an overall more simplistic option. Calm Mind and Shift Gear are both boosting moves that, combined with Soul Heart, can make Magearna snowball out of control. Calm Mind has an easier matchup against defensive teams and an easier time getting Soul Heart Boosts. Shift Gear, on the other hand, makes it harder to obtain the boost, but harder to revenge kill, allowing her to have a better matchup against offensive teams. Bolt Beam coverage is all around the best option for everything. Fleur Cannon as always is a great option to destroy teams. Draining Kiss is also a valid option to keep yourself healthy, but much weaker, especially if running Shift Gear. The EVs are for outspeeding Corviknight and Skeledirge with no speed, and enough defense to survive an attack from offensive tusk. A spread of 252 SpA and 252 Spe can be run if running Shift Gear, to use the speed boost better against offense. Leftovers are for recovery option
Conclusion:
If I were to write every possible set she has, I would be writing here forever. Magearna has power, versatility, bulk and can potentially circumvent her few flaws, and she is going to be one of the most powerful mons of this era of Pokémon HOME
