What's that swooping in over the horizon? It's Lunala, striking fear of the night into its opponents once again! Having hid in the shadows for most of the generation, Calm Mind Lunala makes its mark as a threatening setup sweeper, firing off virtually unresisted Moongeist Beams. Lunala can opt for Psyshock to help it muscle through Calm Mind Arceus and Eternatus or Moonblast to guarantee an OHKO on Koraidon. Moonlight allows Lunala to have longevity and keep Shadow Shield active. Tera Fairy allows Lunala to take any hit from +2 Koraidon while also preventing Scale Shot from breaking its Shadow Shield. It also gives Lunala an immunity to Eternatus's Dynamax Cannon and allows Lunala to beat Kingambit and Arceus-Ghost one-on-one, which otherwise force it out. Lunala can be found on all kinds of structures, as it pairs well with both Koraidon and Zacian-C, the two most common Pokémon in the tier. It can be incredibly devastating on Sticky Web teams, working in tandem alongside the likes of Eternatus, Kyogre, and Arceus-Flying.

Lunala can opt for Psyshock to help it muscle through Calm Mind Arceus Etern might be a good secondary mention, but this is fine tbh, or Moonblast to guarantee an OHKO on Koraidon, preventing it from getting a turn of setup. Moonlight allows Lunala to have longevity and act as both a sweeper and midgame switch in to powerful attacks thanks to Shadow Shield keep Shadow Shield active. Tera Fairy allows Lunala to live any hit from +2 Koraidon, while also preventing Scale Shot from breaking its Shadow Shield. It also gives Lunala an immunity to Eternatus's Dynamax Cannon and allows Lunala to 1v1 Giratina-O gira isn't the best example, bc with shadow shield up Lunala only takes 37 from sneak and ohkos at +1 anyways and Arceus-Ghost, which otherwise force it out. Lunala can be found on all kinds of structures as it pairs well with both Koraidon and Zacian-C, the two most common Pokémon in the tier. 1113 characters atm, not sure how to trim
