Look! A Team From The Marriland Forums.

I am originally from the Marriland forums and have made a pretty good team out of it. I spent months of making RMT's, and I have made a team for the people of Smogon to rate.

442.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP/ 128 Def/ 128 SpDef
-Earthquake
-Gyro Ball
-Hypnosis
-Stealth Rock

My main lead, it has been here for the whole time. It has Hypnosis to help others set up, Stealth Rock to cause some damage to other Pokémon. Earthquake and Gyro Ball for additional damage. Pretty Sturdy.

493.png

Cresselia @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Def/ 4 SpAtk
-Charge Beam
-Thunder Wave
-Moonlight
-Ice Beam

Sturdy member of my team. It offers Thunder Wave support, plus Moonlight for kicks. Charge Beam will help power up Ice Beam.

243.png

Raikou @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 68 HP/ 252 Speed/ 116 SpAtk/ 12 SpDef
-Substitute
-Calm Mind
-Tunderbolt
-Hidden Power (Ice)

My main special sweeper. Substitute will help set up on Calm Minds, then it can attack with a BoltBeam equivalent.

134.png

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Bold
EVs: 188 HP/ 252 Def/ 70 Speed
-Surf
-Protect
-Wish
-Ice Beam

The support for support members of my team. It has Sure/Ice Beam for some coverage, with Protect to see opponents next move. Wish is for the team support.

467.png

Magnezone @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Timid
EVs: 4 HP/ 252 SpAtk/ 252 Speed
-Signal Beam
-Hidden Power (Fire)
-Thunderbolt
-Flash Cannon

This Pokémon compliments Flygon, my physical sweeper. It has Magnet Pull so it can trap Pokémon that like to switch into Flygon alot, then strike with Hidden Power. Signal Beam actually proves useful for Latias moments, the other two moves are for STAB.

Spr_4d_330_s.png

Flygon @ Choice Band
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Attack/ 176 Speed/ 80 HP
-Outrage
-Earthquake
-Fire Punch
-U-Turn

This Pokémon likes to rampage a lot with Outrage. It will either widen the gap in my lead, or bring me back in the game.

This is all I got. Since August, I have been making RMT's on Marriland in hopes of one day, creating the Ultimate Team. After months of long debated thoughts and even help, I have created this team. Please make appropiate edits to this team.

Umm, Vaporeon can't have 288 ev's in HP. I think that should be 188. Nice team. It is very good against stall teams with 3 pokes immune to sand, 4 immune to Toxic Spikes, and none that are weak to Stealth Rock. I can't really see any huge weaknesses on your team. However, I recommend using Reflect instead of Earthquake on Bronzong to help you set up Raikou.

Looks alright. Possibly Explosion over Earthquake on Bronzong for suicide needs since Gyro Ball covers whats necceary already(TTar,Weavile).

Also a bit more detail would be nice otherwise they may close your thread but I'll still critique just because....

You messed up the EVs on your Vaporeon because 288 HP is impossible. You also have too many special attackers and not enough physical thus meaning that Blissey takes out or stalls out a large portion of your team and hell Flygon's attack isn't neccesarily the greatest thing so she could possibly Ice Beam him and kill him.

As far as main weaknesses are conerned you have them down decently with having 2 Ground weak but having 2 Levitaters to back it up. I may say change Charge Beam on Cresselia to Reflect for even more team support since that is what Cresselia is generally useful as. Charge Beam isn't going to help Ice Beam kill any major threat it can't already and because Cress is very sturdy she'll be able to take a hit or two before having to retreat and/or recover. Also as it is if you wanted to boost Sp.Atk just run Calm Mind instead because then she'll become bulky in the Sp.Def area and just become very pesky in general.

I like your Scarf Magnezone set, and it's a pretty good idea in general. Decent surprise to Latias who try and switch in. You have decent overall coverage although I must say Raikou seems a bit pointless with Magnezone already being so powerful. I would suggest running another physical attacker in Raikou's spot and seeing how that works out. Scizor and DD Mence are generally popular although you're not limited to that, Heracross would make a fine choice as would even Electivire. Electivire would actually seem really good in that spot considering he's still Electric and since you have Cresselia and Vaporeon you really don't have to worry about Ground types ruining your fun. Lack of good way to kill Swampert seems to stick out on this team though considering you have nobody to even maybe use Explosion. Hidden Power's can work and Ice Beams from Vaporeon build up eventual damage but he can still wreck a decent sized hole if not careful.

May post more if need be. Hope I helped.

Raikou isin't the best option for SubCMinders. But if you like it, ok. Should be notice that he takes damage from Toxic Spikes AND Sandstorm, an that is not good. Cresselia i like RestStalk > Moonlight and TWave. Just because Tyranitar is everywhere and Moonlight only recovers 25% HP. Pretty good team, but can be better. Put Celebi with Reflect/TWave over Cresselia and put a little investiment on Vaporeon SDef. Since Cresselia is only on your team to take out Gyarados and Salamence, and you know, in DP, you don't need to Counter the thinks, you need checks, and someone that can kill it. You can change Flygon set to Choice Scarf, so Infernape will not be a problem, when Cress is out.

I am new on this forum, so i should tell some bullsh*t. :B.

EDIT: lol at my first post, what happened O_O

If I put Celebi, then I am weak to Fire-type Pokémon. With Vaporeon, how big of an investment.

No, you have the Vaporeon and he stands a good chance against the most Fire types, so will not weak. And well, just put a l investment to not be OHKOed by a LO MixApe with +2 using Grass Knot. I don't know if needs an investment OR not :x

I can tell that you haven't played a good stall team before, throwing magnezone on a team does not necessarily equal a win for the other team, if anything, this team would do badly against heavy stall, especially if the stall teams resident steel type is carrying a shed shell, as more then half the team is set up bait. To fix this I would suggest adding a trick jirachi or a standard lead metagross over bronzong, so you can cripple one of the teams walls with either explosion or trick. I don't really see what bronzong is doing for this team as you already have arguably the best salamence counter in the game with cresselia.

Speaking of Cresselia I recommend dropping moonlight for rest and thunderwave for sleep talk. This will give you a status absorber and moonlight just isn't reliable enough with tyranitar waltzing around everywhere.

hey panamaxis this is shizzle/electiviretesting from shoddy =)

anway on to the rate, you seem far too concerned with dragons on this team. That being noted, cresselia and raikou have the same attack types (electric/ice), which is.. So consider another SubCMer. Jirachi is nice but its up to you.

IMO, Magneton > Magnezone.
Magneton Modest 252spa/252spd: 372spa/239spd
Magnzezone Timid 252spa/252spd: 359spa/240spd

And with scarf the speeds are magneton 359 IIRC, and magnezone 360, and magneton has a higher spa stat.

Magnezone has a higher everything except for SAtk, which is an issue considering Magneton's frailty. I'll second panamaxis' suggestions, your Bronzong is screwed over by Taunt anyway.

Yes magnezone is bulkier, but magneton is not exactly fragile. 95 base defense and 70 base spdef is decent. Magnezone has IIRC 115 base defense and 90 base spdef. But as his function is really just a revenge killer, i dont see why not. I can understand if you are going the subSteelKiller set, but otherwise..

Vaporeon doesn't need any SpD EVs to survive a +2 LO Grass Knot from Infernape, it'll hurt but it can only 2HKO. Though, if Vaporeon takes prior damage I think it will as Grass Knot does somewhere around 70%? If it comes in on Nasty Plot it can scare it off, or kill it, with Surf.

Yes, but Magneton is VERY VERY frail. With Draco Meteor's being spammed, and the metagame turned into DRAGON STEEL DRAGON STEEL, Magnezone is A LOT of better.

And thanks Wishy, if is not needed, no need for SDef investment. And yes, put a Celebi > Cress OR change Cress set to Restalk.

Other than that, pretty solid team, very balanced

That's what i don't like about the metagame these days..
Beating stall teams with explosion or trick.
