So I heard you liked Kingambit...

This team has been putting in work and I needed to share it with the world because I also think it is hella fun to use. Not to mention we have some Rabsca love who I think is being low-key slept on.

Same deal as last time where I gained a good amount of ELO but used the same account trying multiple different teams and subsequently losing a lot of ELO in the process. Eh, sue me ;)

1. Teambuilding Process
1681391893278.png
The process for building this team was pretty straightforward. Kingambit is a super strong mon and a super popular mon, so I wanted to be able to make them as strong as possible. I know you can't have more than 5 fallen stack, but if a mon dies and then is revived and then dies again, that counts as two fallen. So that gave me an idea... Why not make kingambit as strong as possible, but still have the option of pivoting between mons that are still alive? And it works surprisingly well.

1681391893278.png

So I added pawmot and rabsca. Pawmot acts as your main reviver while rabsca has a revival option but is pretty good at harassment. Pawmot is too, don't get me wrong, but no one expects the 'sca. So now I am able to revive three mons (two with pawmot and one with rabsca) allowing kingambit to reach 5 fallen with 3 allies which is HUGE. Long gone are the days when you had to hope kingambit had enough in him to beat the enemy team solo at the end. 5 fallen is strong, sure, but now you eliminate the need for hard predicting and you open up the option for more pivoting.

The next two additions are pretty straightforward. Ting-Lu acts as the special wall and hazard setter (since they're one of the best in the meta atm) and Tusk acts as the hazard remover and Def wall (since they're also one of the best in the meta atm).

And lastly, we add Zoroark for the cheese. A zoroark lead disguised as rabsca works surprisingly well since no one knows what rabsca can really do besides revive. And a zoroak pivot also helps to fool the enemy leading to more revivals and more chaos.

2. Pokemon Description
1681391687965.png

Ting-Lo (Ting-Lu) @ Leftovers
Ability: Vessel of Ruin
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Whirlwind
- Earthquake

This is a very standard Tung-Lu set so there isn't really much to say about it. You have double hazards to continuously add pressure with hazard stacking, whirlwind to remove annoying threats/ cause chaos, and equake for some damage. I find Ting-Lu works well in this position because it allows you to cover your butt with hazads and also give you a strong SpD mon. Remember, two of our slots are taken up with pawmot and rabsca, not to mention we cant do much with kingambit other than eat the enemy, so some mons are going to have to double up on duties. And I don't know of a better mon to cover two rolls as well as it does other than Ting-Lu.
984-0.png

Great Tosk (Great Tusk) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Atk / 40 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Close Combat

Speaking of covering two rolls well and doubling up on duties, here is another very standard set. Tusk acts as our Def mon. Admittedly you could swap its Atk stat with its Def stat but I prefer a stronger Tusk over a bulkier Tusk. There is nothing that special about Tusk since it does its job so well. Soak some hits, remove some hazards, knock off some items, and repeat. The 40 Spe is to outspeed base speed 100 jolly mons after a +1 from rapid spin. This comes in surprisingly handy for things like pre volcarona and the like. And who cares if he gets sac'd since you have three options to bring him back?
1681391840534.png

Zoroork (Zoroark-Hisui) @ Life Orb
Ability: Illusion
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Grass Knot
- Flamethrower
- Will-O-Wisp

I don't know why people don't run H-Zoroark more often; the amount of cheese this thing brings to the table would make the French cry. I typically lead with zoroark disguised as rabsca since, other than revival blessing, people don't typically know what rabsca is good for. That allows for some hard-hitting moves or a crippling wisp. I have been toying with the idea of using a choice scarf for a fast surprise, but being able to swap around the moves I am using, or go down crippling a mon with wisp has proven to be too useful.
923-0.png

Powmot (Pawmot) @ Leppa Berry
Ability: Natural Cure
Tera Type: Electric
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Revival Blessing
- Nuzzle
- Encore
- Wish

Revival-mon #1. Revival blessing and a leppa berry is a no-brainer. Now you can revive two mons for the price of one. Nuzzle is for more crippling with paralyzation. Encore is to allow easy revival blessings, crippling mons who try to set up, and give you some switch options. While wish gets the mons you revive back to full health. You could probably use mach punch instead of wish, but that's not pawmots job. Pawmots job is to cripple and revive. It's all in order to allow kingambit to sweep mid-game instead of late. And let's not forget about natural cure. No one expects it and it allows you to absorb spore, will-o-wisp, and all other hazard moves safely.
954-0.png

Robsca (Rabsca) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Synchronize
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 244 HP / 12 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Revival Blessing
- Confuse Ray
- Mud-Slap
- Memento

No one expects rabsca. Why would anyone use rabsca? DON'T SLEEP ON RABSCA. This thing is a menace and focus sash makes it even more so. Not only does it get access to one of the most powerful moves in the entire game, but it also gets access to memento and revival blessing as well (not to mention mud slap). Confusion = harassment. Mud-slap = harassment. Memento = harassment. This thing needs to be put on a watch list. Rabsca is surprisingly bulky, allowing you to survive multiple hits. Confusion and mud-slap start to force switches, and memento sets up kingambit to come in and set up for the sweep. Or you can utilize the focus sash to ensure a revival which has definitely saved me more than once.

Long Live The King (Kingambit) @ Leftovers
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head

There isn't much to say about this mon. It's popular for a good reason because it's borderline broken. And this team is designed to break kingambit even more by giving it a 5 fallen midgame for midgame sweeps. Not to mention you can have a 5 fallen, die, and get revived for another round of 5 fallen chaos. That's it. Kingambit is your wincon with an option to now pivot multiple times. Happy Hunting.
3. Threats
1681398754536.png

Do not let this mon cook; if you fail at that and it does, gg. You can cheese it with grass knot on zoroark, though. Just make sure your zoroark has enough gas left in the tank to pull this off successfully.

Other than that I don't run into many threats because I either play around them and/ or forget about them. Usually, I lose because I am either not paying attention or I make a stupid play that ends up costing me. And, honestly, that's why I lose 90% of the time...

4. Conclusion + Importable
Overall this team is really fun to play with, and, to be honest, that's half the reason why I play: to have fun and try to make some fun teams with a good win potential to boot. So go, be free, and abuse this team. You will for sure win (at least once).

But let me know what you think. What would you change? And above all else, use this team to get yourself many dubs and tell me how it works for you/ what you may have tweaked with your time playing.

Hasta-la-vista, baby.

Hey there motor hawk! Amazing team as always, but just one thing I think you might want to play around with

The :rabsca: set

Rabsca gets more tools than you might think, specifically recover and cosmic power and as we all know, this can lead to an insanely bulk sweeper, especially if your packing stored power.

I'm not saying you should change anything immediately, but the rabsca changes are worth looking into.

trick + iron ball? Thief after losing sash, pounce, struggle bug and lunge, dual screens, and plenty of coverage!

Most of these moves probably won't help much, but I hope you take them into consideration.

That's about it for the team it looks amazing and I'm sure you can get an incredibly high peak with it!

Edit: maybe not tera bug on rabsca?

This is extremely evil. Downright disgusting. Absolutely absurd. Vivaciously villanous. Cool team though, but tbh your stall breaking capacity seems limited. Otherwise it’s perfect

Hi, revival offense is pretty cool, and saw some use in SPL before shed tail took over. In my opinion, you're going too overboard on the concept and the team suffers because of it. In the current form, there are a few issues; the team is too slow for the concept, you have no ground immune, and you're over-relying on the whole revival blessing part of the team to break which in turn makes the team too passive. You need to trim some of the layers off and then you'll have a more functional team. Part of the reason I feel you're struggling with garg so much is that you're using a relatively offensive idea too "passively".

major changes

:ting-lu: -> :dragonite:

this adds a water resist and ground immunity to the team while synergizing well with zoroark and pawmot. Dragonite can also soft-check and/or gain momentum off of a lot of the things ting-lu was checking such Gholdengo, Volcarona, and Iron Moth. This also gives you another form of priority to deal with opposing offensive threats such as Iron Valiant, or force it to tera so another mon can deal with it since it needs to tera to win the 1v1. Overall, dragonite provides a defensive profile that is needed for the team while being more offensively capable.

:rabsca: -> :cinderace:

cinderace is one of the best options for speed control here as it gives another fire + fairy resist will being a utility machine by wisping annoying mons like gambit and tusk or court change hazards as i changed the tusk set a bit. ace is a pretty straightforward mon so I don't think there's much to explain, it just patches some holes defensively while its utility is beneficial for an offensive team like this.

minor changes

:pawmot: support -> life orb

life orb pawmot is actually extremely annoying to deal with and doesnt have a lot of switch-ins, so its offensive presence is nice here to revenge kill or deter things from setting up. sure you lose another revival blessing but the reality is, in the current offense meta you are likely only getting one turn to click revival anyway.

:great-tusk: slow offensive -> fast eject w/ rocks

small change but eject lets you make progress a lot faster which is nice. headlong rush and cc are extremely hard to switch into and are helpful when dealing with things such as garg or dirge. we are using tera fire to check baxcalibur, valiant and volcarona while resisting some other moves such as torch song.

:kingambit: bulky flying -> bulky fairy tera blast

i feel with the overall goal of this team, the bulky tera blast fairy gambit achieves the goal of making gambit a late game monster better but honestly you can just use whatever gambit set you want to use here depending on what match-ups you find annoying.

notes
-i changed zoro to np life orb because I don't really get the purpose of wisp. np helps it become better at being a nuke. scarf/specs probably works here to if you want to try it.
-tera fairy zoro for dragon darts but you can change it to whatever if this isnt a concern for you
-currently have encore dnite to help vs annoying defensive mons like dirge but if you find it useless you can swap for it for roost.
