Drilbur is a great role compressor, as it sets up Stealth Rock against Natu due to Mold Breaker and removes entry hazards with Rapid Spin. It is also very effective against LC's most common Poison-type in Koffing thanks to its STAB Earthquake and checks one of LC's more threatening sweepers in Tyrunt. Rock Slide rounds out Drilbur's coverage by hitting Natu and Larvesta for super effective damage. Grookey threatens out Drilbur with Grassy Glide, so checks to it like Koffing and Larvesta make great teammates; Larvesta also benefits from Drilbur removing Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin. Ferroseed appreciates how Drilbur can threaten Natu, while Ferroseed can check Water-types such as Staryu and Frillish in exchange. Fighting-types, such as Mienfoo and Timburr, can take advantage of Drilbur's good matchup into Koffing.

- important thing to note about Drilbur is role compression + SR on Natu + checks Koffing & Tyrunt
Drilbur offers a lot in one teamslot, being able to both set up Stealth Rock and remove entry hazards with Rapid Spin. Drilbur can even set up Stealth Rock against Natu, one of the most common Pokemon in LC, due to Mold Breaker negating Magic Bounce. (Merge this sentence into the previous sentence) It is also very effective against LC's most common Poison-type in Koffing thanks to its STAB Earthquake. (I would just add the mention of checking Tyrunt in this sentence) The EVs allow Drilbur to survive a boosted Ice Fang from Dragon Dance Tyrunt after Stealth Rock and let Drilbur outspeed the entire unboosted metagame after using Rapid Spin. (Add a sentence on Rock Slide) Checks to Grookey are essential, as it counters Drilbur. Pokemon such as Koffing and Larvesta can check Grookey; Larvesta also benefits from Drilbur being able to remove Stealth Rock with Rapid Spin. Ferroseed appreciates how Drilbur can threaten Natu,(RC) which would otherwise stop Ferroseed from setting up Spikes.(I would just remove the clause after the comma, it does a lot more than just stopping Spikes; might wanna mention how it helps against Water-types tho) Timburr can complement Drilbur in removing Tyrunt with Mach Punch, while Drilbur can deal with Koffing in exchange. (I don't understand the importance of this point; if u want to talk about how Fighting-types benefit from Drilbur checking Koffing, that might be ok)
