Despite its nerfs, Landorus-T has reclaimed its spot at the top of OU! Using the combination of Intimidate, Rocky Helmet, and U-turn, Landorus-T is an effective pivot and physical blanket check against dangerous threats like Roaring Moon, Zamazenta, Kingambit, and Gouging Fire to either beat them one-on-one, set up Stealth Rock, or pivot into its teammates. While it has a lower Special Attack stat, Earth Power allows Landorus-T to deal with Pokemon like IronPress Zamazenta, Breaking Swipe Gouging Fire, and Bulk Up Great Tusk. 36 Speed EVs and Taunt shut down utility Gliscor; Taunt also cuts off Skarmory, Corviknight, and Clefable from healing or setting hazards. Tera Water lets Landorus-T handle Pokemon like Weavile and Barraskewda. Landorus-T fits best on bulky offense teams alongside other pivots such as Hisuian Samurott, Dragapult, and Galarian Slowking and wallbreakers like Kingambit and Ogerpon-W. Galarian Slowking in particular can blanket check many special attackers including Kyurem, Walking Wake, and Enamorus that Landorus-T cannot wall, while Landorus-T provides a check to the Dark- and Ground-types like Kingambit and Great Tusk that threaten it.

While it has a lower special attack stat, Earth Power allows Landorus-T to deal with Pokemon like IronPress Zamazenta, Breaking Swipe Gouging Fire, and Bulk Up Great Tusk that can handle its Earthquake. Stealth Rock allows Landorus to better support the offensive of its teammates by chipping down the opposing team. 36 Speed EVs and Taunt shut down utility Gliscor by preventing it from setting hazards or spreading Toxic. (mention other general stuff that taunt targets like for skarm & clef that can otherwise sit on you) Tera Water gives Landorus-T a resistance to Ice and Water, which is especially useful against Weavile and Barraskewda. (at worst you flip the matchup against meow in that 1 turn of surprise tera but u still lose to flower trick next time. better to replace it with an example where the water resist is good) and Meowscarada due to Triple Axel activating Rocky Helmet three times. Landorus-T fits best on Bulky Offense teams alongside other pivots such as Hisuian Samurott, Dragapult, and Galarian Slowking and wallbreakers like Kingambit and Ogerpon-W. Galarian Slowking is a particularly good partner, blanket checking many special attackers including Kyurem, Iron Valiant, and Enamorus that Landorus-T cannot wall while providing their teammates with Future Sight while Landorus-T provides a check to the Dark- and Ground-types (like?) that threaten it.
