[SET COMMENTS]
Kyurem's excellent matchups against common Pokemon like Gliscor, Raging Bolt, and Alomomola, while having fantastic coverage with Earth Power that lets it hit Ice-resistant foes like Iron Moth and Heatran makes it incredibly annoying to switch into. Substitute lets it take advantage of Pokemon that cannot heavily damage it, like Toxapex and Rotom-W, as well as Pokemon it scares out like Gliscor and Gastrodon while also making itself safer against revenge killers like Iron Valiant and Mega Lopunny, forcing them to get rid of its Substitute before being able to threaten it out. Tera Water and Tera Fairy are Kyurem's main Tera types, as these let it change its defensive matchups behind Substitute making it harder for the likes of Mega Scizor, Ferrothorn, and Garganacl to remove its Substitute. Tera Ground is another alternative to give Kyurem STAB on Earth Power, notably dealing more damage against Steel-types that aren't weak to Ground, like Mega Scizor and Ferrothorn. The EV Spread lets Kyurem hit 405 HP, meaning that its Substitute takes two Seismic Toss to remove. Teammates that struggle with the Flying-, Water-, and Ground-types that Kyurem preys on like Ogerpon-W, Gliscor, and Tapu Koko make for excellent teammates, as they appreciate its ability to deal with the Pokemon they can't. Resilient defensive partners like Alomomola, Clefable, and Galarian Slowking help switch into revenge killers like Iron Boulder and Zamazenta that force Kyurem out. Additionally, Alomomola and Galarian Slowking can also help pivot in Kyurem, something it appreciates.

move 2: Scale Shot

move 4: Tera Blast
item: Loaded Dice

evs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
[SET COMMENTS]
With Dragon Dance, good bulk that allows it to set up on the likes Landorus-T and Zapdos, and incredibly strong STAB moves thanks to Loaded Dice, Kyurem is an extremely scary sweeper. Tera Blast Ground lets it beat Steel-types that would normally be an answer to Kyurem, like Iron Crown and Heatran. Choice Scarf users and other fast Pokemon like Tapu Lele, Iron Valiant, and Hawlucha greatly appreciate Kyurem's breaking prowess, as they can sweep teams much more easily after it has wreaked havoc on the opposing team. Dual screens support from teammates like Tapu Koko and Grimmsnarl are also incredible alongside Kyurem, giving it more opportunites to set up as well as hindering revenge killing attemps from the likes of Mega Medicham and Mega Scizor. Bulky Water-types like Slowbro and Alomomola are able to withstand Kyurem's attacks even after a boost, making wallbreakers like Tapu Lele and Iron Valiant good teammates, as they can use them for opportunities to switch in, or weaken them down so Kyurem can take them out. Consistent entry hazard removal is also much appreciated thanks to its weakness to hazards, making partners like Great Tusk and Landorus-T fantastic.
