Unlike Clear Amulet sets, Koraidon capitalizes on the decrease of Intimidate users like Incineroar and utilizes Life Orb in conjunction with Orichalcum Pulse to OHKO threats like Miraidon with Close Combat before it Terastallizes and Flare Blitz afterwards. Flame Charge breaks Focus Sashes and grants Koraidon a Speed boost to outspeed Calyrex-S. Tera Fire removes Koraidon's Fairy and Ice weaknesses while increasing the damage of Flare Blitz, giving Koraidon a high chance to OHKO Tera Fairy Calyrex-I. The most common team this set is used on is Perish Trap, which Wolfe Glick piloted and won at EUIC 2025. Koraidon is paired with Flutter Mane, which provides speed control with Icy Wind and can threaten Calyrex-S and Miraidon before they Terastallize. Scream Tail disrupts Koraidon's foes with Encore and Disable, locking them into unfavorable moves, in addition to using Perish Song to secure endgames. Koraidon is paired with Flutter Mane threatening Miraidon and Calyrex-S with Moonblast and Shadow Ball respectively forcing them to terastallize allowing Koraidon to easily KO them and it provides Speed control support with Icy Wind(This sentence is very weird, Flutter is mainly for speed control so I'd mention that first and then say that it also threatens them).
