Gen 2 KingTarChamp+MieZapLax

Nidoking (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
- Lovely Kiss
- Earthquake
- Ice Beam
- Thunder
I chose Nidoking as a lead because it outspeeds and significantly hinders Cloyster with Thunder, and Nidoking's best switch ins are Snorlax, Miltank and Umbreon, all of which fear being shut down by Lovely Kiss. If one of these essential threats is taken out of commission Nidoking is more free to spam it's STAB Earthquake, threatening decent damage on most of the tier. Ice Beam chips Zapdos, Exeggutor, Golem, Marowak and Rhydon, which Nidoking would otherwise be unable to hit ( with some obvious exceptions ).

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
- Double-Edge
- Flamethrower
- Curse
- Rest

The big guy of GSC OU! Double Edge is Snorlax's strongest consistent STAB attack, and trades hits exceptionally well with everything that doesn't either resist or is immune. Curse takes Snorlax's ability to deal consistent damage to new levels while also making it extremely hard to break through without a critical hit. Flamethrower allows for consistent melting of Steel type switch ins, not having to rely on the exploitable nature of Fire Blast. Rest is obvious, and allows for Snorlax to remove status and stay healthy over the course of a match, especially with a curse boost.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
IVs: 26 Def
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

Zapdos is the premier special attacker of GSC OU, leveraging so through a powerful STAB Thunder and coverage through Hidden Power Ice. This is further bolstered by SleepTalk, allowing Zapdos to maintain good health over the course of a match. Zapdos being a Flying type certainly has its advantages too, enabling it to switch in on ground attacks that would otherwise threaten Nidoking and Tyranitar.

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
- Surf
- Psychic
- Recover
- Rapid Spin

Although this team doesn't run Spikes, hazard removal is a necessity as to avoid getting too worn down by passive damage. Starmie fulfills this role while maintaining the ability to threaten Gengar with STAB Psychic. Crucially, if Gengar already has been chipped down 14.6-27.6%, Starmie has anywhere between a 2.6%-100% chance to OHKO. Machamp, Tentacruel and Cloyster also hate Starmie who run Psychic. Surf hits Steelix, Tyranitar, Marowak, Nidoking, Golem and Rhydon. Recover is essential for remedying Spikes and Toxic damage and making it harder to Pursuit kill.

Machamp @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
IVs: 26 Atk / 26 Def
- Cross Chop
- Curse
- Rock Slide
- Hidden Power [Bug]

Machamp's ability to threaten much of the bulkier mons of the tier with its STAB Cross Chop, including but not limited to Snorlax, Blissey, Miltank, Cloyster, Tyranitar, Golem and Rhydon make it a valuable teammate. Curse further bolsters Machamp's already high attack, and gives bulk increase against physical attackers. Rock Slide 2HKO’s Zapdos after a Curse boost, and Hidden Power Bug nails Exeggutor.

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Ability: No Ability
- Pursuit
- Roar
- Crunch
- Rock Slide

Finally, we have Tyranitar! My dedicated pursuit user. With a decent special attack of 95, Tyranitar’s Pursuit is the strongest in the meta, ensuring any Dark weak Pokemon such as Exeggutor, Misdreavus and Gengar can’t switch out scot free, and potentially chipping other Pokemon what may not appreciate such chip. Rock Slide is the big STAB move of choice, 2HKOing Zapdos, 3HKOing Cloyster and OHKOing Jynx. It also pressures any Snorlax that hasn’t Cursed up. Roar is obligatory to phase out setup sweepers. Crunch is used as a big STAB Dark attack other than pursuit which nails Misdreavus, Gengar and Exeggutor for good damage, potentially helping Tyranitar avoid being crippled.

Well, that’s my team! Lemme know what you think, especially if you’re experienced as I’m new to the GSC OU scene. Cheers!

Nice team you got. A few quick thoughts:
  1. :cloyster: in over :starmie:
Spikes are so so good and I don't think this team has the defensive power nor offensive prowess to justify going with spin but no hazards of your own. Nido and zap can pick up the slack vs opposing machamp and cloys typing covers a good chunk of the same stuff while also fitting better with the pace of this team. Lets you boom/tox opposing starmie to open up machamp yourself.
  2. :snorlax:
I'd at least change lax to earthquake, and maybe sleep talk over curse just because jynx looks to be rather annoying. DE + EQ is amazing into offense with or without curse and you have nido and machamp already to bust open fat teams and abuse forre and skarm. You could opt for mono double edge (or body slam for para support) + sleep talk + curse here given you have crunch ttar, but honestly i think EQ will be very useful.
  3. :nidoking:
With all the ST lax and ST zap in the tier, standard nido can feel quite underwhelming. I'd suggest running thief over thunder to make nido a more self-sufficient breaker into zap and lax and providing extra value for it's teammates. You still have LK for cloy (and the presumed threat of thunder) and EQ + beam is still great offensively.
This does make the team a lot more standard (this 6 is very well established,) but it's standard for good reason.
I'd say the team looks fine now and you have some wiggle room with the ttar and machamp 4th moves (and lax's set) to tweak it to your liking. Heres the team with the proposed changes: https://pokepast.es/c7e85530177d9547
