Introduction
A pretty standard webs team with a lot of effectiveness. I tested a lot of different mons on this team, from full booster spam to encore Gengar, however, in the end the standard mons proved to be the most efficient. Ceruledge is absolutely viable, the Chinese spread I ran with Tera Bug proved very deadly in some matchups. I changed it to Tera Grass, however, once Pon became a problem for it. Besides that, the team is mostly meant to counter the meta by using the meta.

Proof Of Peak
I'm 1885 now, with a medal, so that's cool.

Team Building Process:
I started with these three, as Gengar is one of my favorite mons and served a nice niche role on this team. Initially I ran encore Gengar and Valiant, however, it only worked occasionally and once the opponent was aware of Gengar's set it was nye useless other than a Life Orb wallbreaker that hated priority spam. (Which is why Encore was used to begin with.) Iron Valiant is still viable, it can certainly be used over Kingambit on this team, although it will not serve the same role Gambit does.
Eventually I added the basics, Gholdengo with an air balloon and webs Ribombee to make opposing HO matchups much easier. I also initially ran rocks Glim but realized it was too much of a niche pick, especially with Bee. Sacking two mons in order to set up hazards that can potentially be removed wasn't worth the effort. Ceruledge was also added, it did well for a while, however, didn't seem to be the best option. Changing Valiant to Zama later on did help Edge a bit, however, and it can be used if desired.
Kingambit
Kingambit (M) @ Black Glasses
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Dark
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant/Jolly Nature
- Kowtow Cleave
- Iron Head/Low Kick
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
Basic Kingambit set. Black glasses maximizes King's damage output while Tera Dark does this even more. The stall matchup for this team is honestly awful, thus the need for maximum damage Gambit. Iron Head is the basic secondary stab option. This primarily allows you to hit Primarina and Enamorus more consistently. Low Kick on the other hand bodies Roaring Moon and opposing Kingambit, it also does the same amount of damage as Iron Head does to Great Tusk.
Advice:
Most of the time you'll use this thing like you would with any other team. Bring it in against anything that cannot damage it directly. Specs Kyurem locked into an Ice Move, Dragapult locked into Shadowball or Draco Meteor, or Enamorus locked into Earthpower. Of course you'd want to Tera againt the Enam, however, that's not here nor there. During games I also noticed how irritating Mixed Pult can be, so I often sacked Gambit for a kill against it. Take the Burn or Paralysis and bop it with Kowtow. This makes Moon and Zama's lives much easier.
Ribombee
Ribombee (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Shield Dust
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel/Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Sticky Web
- Stun Spore
Overall a standard build for The Bee. Moonblast is a nice stab option that actually hits harder than you'd think. Psychic is there to annoy Glim leads and make Sicky Web easier to get up. Stun Spore is just a nice status move, helps against Slowking which almost always leads against Bee if there isn't any other threat to it. Tera Steel is also a niche pick to wall Mortal Spin since I hated dealing with HO without webs. Makes the game much, much less in your favor if you sack Bee early without getting Webs up.
Tera Ghost is also viable as it blocks other spin users such as Iron Treads.
Advice:
Don't always rely on Bee as a lead. I often lead with Glim against mons that Bee doesn't like as it can catch people off guard with it's spread. (You'll see what I mean soon.) Against Cinderace you can lead with Bee, outspeed, Stun Spore, and potentially get the Webs up later in the game. Psychic is also advised as the first choice of action against lead Glim as a test to see if it is running Mortal Spin.
Roaring Moon
Roaring Moon @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Acrobatics
- Earthquake/Taunt
- Dragon Dance
------------------------------------
Roaring Moon @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 32 HP / 220 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Acrobatics
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake/Taunt
The two sets for Moon serve different roles. I prefer an Attack Boost from Booster Energy as this makes the stall Match Up easier while also maximizing Moon's damage output. However, Speed can also be used as a revenge killer option if you don't want to trust Webs to be up every game. Earthquake proved to be needed while I played, as this helps against Garganacl, Raging Neck, and a plethora of other mons, not to mention Kingambit.
Advice:
I almost always send this thing in as soon as possible, (unless the opposing team has an immediate answer to it), as Roaring Moon can tear through most teams opening up space for other sweepers to have an easier time serving there roles. Taunt can be run over Earthquake, (although I do advise you to run another mon in place of one of the mons on this team. Something that can beat Garg and help manage Raging Neck with Tera Fairy.)
Gholdengo
Gholdengo @ Air Balloon/Covert Cloak
Ability: Good as Gold
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest/Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Shadow Ball
- Dazzling Gleam
- Nasty Plot
- Recover
Although Ghold misses Gengar helping it sweep and vice versa, this set on this team is invaluable. Tera Fairy allows you to annihilate nearly all of Ghold's counters from Darkrai to Roaring Moon to opposing Ghold's going for Shadowball. Air Balloon allows for the switch into Great Tusk, although be weary of Knock Off. Some people are still mean and run that over Ice Spinner.
Advice:
I often rely on Ghold as a sweeper as this thing can wipe most teams that are not prepared for this set. However, if there's a Great Tusk ALWAYS switch into it as long as you have the balloon early game. Keeping the Webs up is mandatory for the majority of games. Other times try preserving Tera for other mons, only use Tera Fairy when there's no other option or you know for a fact Ghold can serve a specific purpose by Terastallizing.
Glimmora
Legally Blind (Glimmora) (F) @ Power Herb
Ability: Toxic Debris
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Meteor Beam
- Dazzling Gleam
- Earth Power
- Rock Polish/Mortal Spin/Sludge Wave
The name of this Pokemon is unfortunate, as for whatever reason I miss Meteor Beam more often than I miss Focus Blast. However, it is an amazing move on this Pokemon. Now this set may look absurd at first, technically a double dance Glimmora spread, although it works amazingly well. With a Modest nature Glim's amazing 130 Special Attack stat reaches absurd levels, pair that with an immediate Meteor Beam that hits as hard as a Z-Move with that Spk. Boost and you have a menace to the ladder. Gleam is to stop Valiant from abusing set up and Moon from being Moon. Earth Power is required to hit Ghold, Garg, Slowking and Gouging fire after Beam is used up. Rock Polish is honestly mid, I almost never use it although on rare occasions it can be a necessity to win some games. Mortal Spin can be used over it just to add hazard removal, although that isn't really needed. Wave can also be added to mess up Primarina and Clefable.
Advice:
Since this set is so unusual to many players, even the ones who are aware of it, you can catch people of guard and OHKO mons Glim would never dream of touching normally. Gliscor is one mon in particular that Glim loves to Beam. Do be weary of Protect, however. Dragonite is another mon that can occasionally get OHKO'd through Multiscale on a high roll. I don't recommend leading with Glim unless it serves a purpose such as Beaming a Torkoal lead, Gliscor Lead, or something similar. I usually want to preserve Glim for the right moment.
Zamazenta
Zamazenta @ Leftovers
Ability: Dauntless Shield
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 204 HP / 132 Def / 172 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Body Press
- Heavy Slam
- Crunch
- Iron Defense
This set is a little odd as it is very prone to status, thus my mention before about King sacking it's damage output in order to eliminate Pult as soon as possible. Zama is a demon once its counters are gone. Body Press reaches absurd levels of power once you use Iron Defense. Heavy Slam bops Fairies that think they can wall Zama while Crunch bops Ghosts or Ghost Teras that try to stop Zama. Gliscor in particular, (as you'll see in the replays,) can be a nuisance. Crunch also serves another purpose, with the "hax" of a 20% defense drop you boost Zama's Body Press and other moves which can often turn the tide of a stall battle against it. The Tera type Steel helps against Fairy and Psychic mons. I tried Fire, however, didn't like its defensive capabilities so I switched to Steel. The EV spread is also a little wonky, 172 speed reaches 390 which outspeeds everything Zama can normally outspeed (except other max speed Zamas) while also allowing for 132 Defense EVS to reach 299 Defense. This allows Zama to OHKO certain mons without relying on a roll. Most notably beating out opposing Zama that are slower (as long as they lack Roar) and beating Garg even with Tera Fairy.
+6 132 Def Zamazenta Body Press vs. 252 HP / 52 Def Tera Fairy Garganacl: 166-196 (41 - 48.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
(It may not be the best amount of damage, although it does beat the recovery war as long as Iron Defense isn't used by Garg.)
Advice:
Most of the time Zama is a great late game cleaner, something to send in once it knows it can sweep or at least handle the opposing team. Don't rely on Tera Steel for a sweep, most of the time it isn't needed outside of a guaranteed OHKO to some Fairy mons.
0 Atk Tera Steel Zamazenta Heavy Slam (120 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Iron Valiant: 330-390 (113.7 - 134.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 Atk Tera Steel Zamazenta Heavy Slam (100 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Enamorus: 338-398 (116.9 - 137.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
0 Atk Tera Steel Zamazenta Heavy Slam (100 BP) vs. 80 HP / 0 Def Primarina: 162-192 (50.4 - 59.8%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
The aforementioned Dragapult is a massive threat if it runs the mixed Boots/Clear Body spread. If it outspeeds Moon it can status it or revenge kill it with Darts if Moon hasn't set up a Dragon Dance. However, this can be mitigated by Booster Speed Moon.
Stall can be a serious issue if not handled correctly. My best advice is to weaken the Dozo as soon as possible. Some stall teams run Moltres/Talonflame, if so playing around the Flame Body can be extremely difficult. The best option is to just hope that the game will favor you, that or sack Moon to Flame in order to kill it for good. Beam Glim can also work if the opponent expects Rocks instead. I also advise saving Gambit's Tera, as it can overpower stall's bulk and eventually win games.
Opposing Webs can also be an issue, especially if you don't get yours up. Just think ahead of lead and look to seeing how webs can be set up and if the opponent has hazard removal.
Cinderace is a hard stop to webs, however, it can be beaten if the opponent leads with it. Let Bee go for Stun Spore and if it lands that can change the course of the game entirely. It makes Ace much less likely to Courtchange the Webs. If that is not possible, the best option is to just play the game without webs until you can weaken the Ace and set them up if Bee is still alive.
