With blistering speed and a coat of electrifying spikes, Jolteon stands out as both an amazing pivot and potent setup sweeper in ZU. Alluring Voice, especially when boosted by Tera Fairy and Calm Mind, can allow Jolteon to easily take out Electric-resistant foes like Sandaconda and Virizion. Volt Absorb is particularly useful for blocking attacks from opposing Electric-types like Rotom and Lanturn, even allowing Jolteon to set up against them. Jolteon greatly appreciates entry hazard support from the likes of Bombirdier and Qwilfish to wear down special tanks like Snorlax and Assault Vest Hoopa. Bombirdier and Qwilfish also form a great VoltTurn core with Jolteon with their pivoting moves, and Bombirdier's Knock Off greatly aids in progress made by hazards by removing Heavy-Duty Boots. Jolteon's poor physical bulk leaves it liable to being revenge killed by Choice Scarf Pokemon like Bruxish and Passimian, so contact move punishers like Rocky Helmet Qwilfish and Sandaconda are great teammates. Powerful wallbreakers like Toxicroak, Hoopa, and Glastrier can punch massive holes in the opposition's defenses to facilitate a Jolteon sweep, and also greatly appreciate Jolteon's pivoting granting them safe entry.

Bombirdier and Qwilfish also form a great VoltTurn core with Jolteon with their pivoting moves, and Bombirdier's Knock Off greatly aids in progress made by entry hazards by removing Heavy-Duty Boots. Jolteon's poor physical bulk leaves it liable to being revenge KO'd by Choice Scarf Pokemon like Bruxish and Passimian, so contact punishment like Static Hisuian Electrode and Rocky Helmet Sandaconda are great teammates for Jolteon not really a fan of static trode here, it kinda has the same role as jolt so hard to fit and soundproof is usually the superior ability anw. Powerful wallbreakers like Emboar, Hoopa, and Glastrier can punch massive holes in the opposition's defenses, allowing for Jolteon to easily pick off weakened foes while attempting a sweep with Calm Mind id also say they love jolteon being able to position them with volt switch.
