RegenVest Iron Treads is a great specially defensive pivot and spinner. It is able to switch into prominent special attackers such as Gholdengo and Flutter Mane and threaten them out. Knock Off removes key items like Heavy-Duty Boots and deters spinblockers from switching in, and Volt Switch has excellent synergy with Regenerator. If its teammates already provide adequate entry hazard control, Iron Head and Ice Spinner are options to target Flutter Mane and Dragonite, respectively. A Sassy nature with minimum Speed investment ensures the slowest possible pivot with Volt Switch. Iron Treads appreciates physically defensive teammates like Fur Coat Slowking, which can form a VoltTurn core to bring in powerful-but-frail teammates like Iron Bundle and Dragapult.

RegenVest Iron Treads isAssault Vest Regenerator Iron Treads primary role is that of a specially defensive pivot with great utility. that also has access to several utility moves. It is able to switch into some of the prominent special attackers of the tier such as Gholdengo and Flutter Mane and threaten them out. Earthquake is the main and strongest viable STAB move of choice;staple stab and is used to deal the most damage, in addition, Iron Treads compresses several roles into one with access to Knock Off to cripple incoming switches, volt switchVolt Switch to enable pivoting, and Rapid Spin to clear entry hazards.rapid spin for hazard clear. Other options include running Ice Spinner or Iron Head over Rapid Spin.period, theThe former lets Iron Treads deal with Dragonite, and the latter lets it OHKO and 2HKO knock out Flutter Mane in 1 hit and Iron Valiant, respectively. in 2. A Sassy nature with minimum Speed investment ensures the slowest possible pivot with Volt Switch. The EV's should not be typically changed for the loss of special bulk is exceptionally noticeable versus variants of prominent special attackers like Flutter Mane, however, the nature can be either Careful or Sassy with 0 IVs in speed for the latter if a slower pivot is desired. No need to defend max/max EVs. Corviknight The best partner for Iron Treads is undoubtedly Not necessarily true, esp. considering that they stack a weakness to Fire Corviknight can pair well with Iron Treads if running Well-Baked Body or Ice Scales, although the latter will make your team much more vulnerable to Fire-type atacks. as together they form a core that is able to handle a wide range of threats depending on what the Corviknight is running as an ability whether that be Well-Baked Body, Ice Scales, Fur Coat, and so forth. Iron Treads is also effective at also works well with teams that require momentum effectively aiding in the bringing in of Pokemonpowerful attackers like Flutter Mane, Iron Bundle, and Dragapult. Would mention water/ground weakness and some stuff to cover that (Slowking's a decent one)
