Pet Mod Iron Fist - Slate 10 Results

Slate 6 election results!
cyclonez_ - 4
Beaf Cultist - 16
Copen - 10

After a good campaign, Beaf "Brad 'Taylor Swift' Cutlet" Cultist wins it! As such, submissions are OPEN!

Submissions will be open for about four days! There will still be a veto slate that will last about a day as well.

As a reminder, you can submit up to 3 things, but starting this slate per legislation, only up to one Pokemon! Templates are in the original post.

Good luck, Beaf Cultist, dearest leader of Iron Fistlandia!

For slate 6, the wheel of doom has landed on Sunflora! o7 to the sun setter i didn't even realize we had

Name: Impidimp-Mega
Changes: -20 Atk, +10 Def, +10 SpD
Justification: Taking up one of my sub slots real quick to do this. I don't have good enough of a gauge of this meta's power level to tell exactly how much the attack stat should be nerfed but if we want to keep the sub intact without making it completely stupid then this is probably our best shot. Maybe it's still good into offense or something. If it's better that it be reworked in some other way or removed entirely I don't mind changing this.

Name: Iron Fist
Power: 90
Accuracy: 100
PP: 16
Category: Physical
Type: Steel
Effect: Raises both the user's and target's Defense stat by 1 stage.
Priority: +0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): contact: 1, protect: 1, mirror: 1, punch: 1, metronome: 1
Pokémon With This Move: Melmetal, Togedemaru, Lytlegai, Crabominable, Melmetal 2, Hitmontop, Zelda, Sentret, Smelmetal, Collachet, Daiyafia, Pokestar Fisherman, mario, cowboy_bandido, Pokestar Giant, Richard Petty, Impidimp, Fishing Zombie, Pokestar MT, Komala, Ronald Reagan, Cinderace, Dracolition, Jableye, Raccoon, Lucario-Calm, The Pearl Hand
Justification: we have an ability, item, and hopefully now move named "Iron Fist"

Name: Fertile Soil
Power: -
Accuracy: -
PP: 32
Category: Status
Type: Grass
Effect: Inflicts foes with leech seed on switch in. Disappears after one use. If the foe is a grass type, they are not inflicted with leech seed, but the hazard does not go away.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound): N/A
Pokémon With This Move: All grass types, all lemon types
Justification: Hazards that don‘t deal damage are fun

Adjustment
Name: Scrubby
Base Stats: 95, 50, 85, 125, 90, 95
Abilities: Quick Feet, Hydration, (Poison Heal)

Justification: buffed stat slightly, added hydration for flavor, added poison heal for flavor and also please please please quick feet is so badddd, and rounded out the moveset

Name: Box of One Dozen Starving, Crazed Weasels
Effect: If this item is removed from the holder in any way (knock off, trick, etc.), the box opens on the opponent and the flesh-eating weasels inside attach to their face and deal chip damage equal to 1/8th of their max HP every turn until they switch out.
Can Be Knocked Off (Yes or No): Yes
Ignored by Klutz (Yes or No): No
Fling Power & Effect:
Justification: We’re out of bear claws

Name: Shuriken
Effect: If the holder uses 3 consecutive attacking moves, it gains +1 Attack and Special Attack.
Can Be Knocked Off: Yes
Ignored by Klutz: Yes
Fling Power & Effect: 90 BP
Justification: Kunai misses its friend (even though it probably outclasses it) :(

Name: Triple Present
Power: -
Accuracy: 90%
PP: 24
Category: Physical
Type: Ice
Effect: 40, 80, 120 power, or heals target 1/4 max HP. Hits 3 times, with the effect re-rolling each hit. Each hit can miss.
Priority: 0
Flags (ex: Contact, Sound):
Pokémon With This Move: coder's choice!
Justification: Can you believe it guys? Christmas, just a week away. Christmas is in a week! Woohoo! I am so happy about this information. Christmas! Just a week away, oh wow. Can you believe it? Christmas! Just in a week! It got here so fast! Christmas! Just a week away!

Metagame Change: Resurrection. All previous pokemon banned by the Wheel of Doom are unbanned. This includes Traike, Jirachitwo, and Sunflora.
With sweeping changes to the automated Wheel of Doom seemingly incoming, As the original creator of the Wheel of Doom, I think it is fair to give these pokemon a second chance in the meta.

But do be warned, the Wheel of Doom has not been defeated yet.

Pokemon: Kygre
Typing: Water
Base Stats: 90/90/80/130/120/70 (Total: 580)
Abilities: Damp
Movepool: Kyogre's natdex movepool + hold hands and cuddIe
This pokemon is always female

Weight: 351.9 kg
Custom Elements: When holding a blue shard, it gains the ability Drizzle (if blue shards don't exist on showdown, just put in a useless item that can be knocked.)
Competitive Role: Kyogre, but smaller and more lesbian
Flavor / Description: She's a big fish, and she's here to summon rain and be lesbians with Groudon and Rayquaza. This is not her full power, but she's fine with being weakened, if that means she gets to be with her girlfriends.

Metagame Change:
Name: Single Message Legislation
Effects: Each individual's legislation must be contained within a single message. If a legislator provides their legislation for a slate across multiple messages, only legislation contained within the earliest message containing submissions shall be considered valid. All later legislation will be automatically denied, independent of the supreme leader.
Justification: De-cluttering some things.

Adjustment:
Name: Iron Fist (and punching glove, I guess.)
Effects: Also has all effects of an Iron Ball (aside from fling stuff). This would include halving the holder's speed, and rendering them grounded. Any effect that changes an item to an iron ball has no effect on Iron Fist, and turns held Punching Gloves into Iron Fists.
Justification: Double Iron Bash is at it's most oppressive on fast mons. Now there are no fast mons with DIB. Also some flavor stuff.

New Move: Home Run -
1729350417716-png.679727
Physical.png
40 BP, 15/24 PP, 100 Acc
Effect: This move deals double damage if either the user or target is Baseballed.
Priority: +1
Flag: Contact, Protect, Mirror Move
Distribution: Bramblin, Collachet, Hitmontop, Iron Clown, Jableye, Keisberg-IF, Princirang, Sentret
Description:
baseball_crash.webp

Physical silly types only have generic options for stabs so here is a prio option, with a funny bonus effect to support an underutilized mechanic. Can technically become espeed but you need to commit an item slot on one or more mons to consistently get the boost.

Adjustment: Wheel of Doom
Description: Instead of one Pokemon being instantly banned by the Wheel of Doom, three are selected and the Supreme Leader must choose one to be removed within the first 24 hours of the slate. If the Supreme Leader does not respond in time, the selection is randomized.
Justification: Mandated wheel of doom is funny but what isn't funny is the complete lack of control over the outcome. It could have been Ohmyrod or Sentret that got banned instead of Sunflora, that's kinda effed up... With this change, while the Wheel still demands blood, the Supreme Leader will have an opportunity to save a mon(s) they deem as important to the meta.

Metagame Change: Wheel of Doom
Change: At the beginning of each slate, the Supreme Leader is given 1 to 3 of the current Pokemon in the format at random. They may choose to remove any number of them from the format, or remove none of them. Must be done before the slate ends or a random mon will be snapped.
Description: Randomly removing Pokemon doesn't fix the problem.

:pikachu::varoom:
Pokemon: Mario Kart Wii
Change: Looses Parting Gift
Description: Okay, if I... if I chop you up in a meat grinder, and the only thing that comes out, that's left of you, is your eyeball, you'r- you're PROBABLY DEAD! You're probably going to - not you, I'm just sayin', like, if you- if somebody were to, like, push you into a meat grinder, and, like, your- one of your finger bones is still intact, they're not gonna pick it up and go, "Well see, yeah it wasn't deadly, it wasn't an instant kill move! You still got, like, this part of your finger left!" NO I'M NOT GONNA PUT YOU INTO A MEAT GRINDER. I'M NOT GONNA PUT YOU INTO A MEAT GRINDER. NO. I'm making a reference to the fact that, like, if I, like, if I were to get fucking KILLED... I don't know, YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYIN'. If- if- okay, if you were to- okay we're gonna take humans out of this, if alien Globgobglobgo 1 fuckin' shoots a disintegrating ray at alien Globglo 2, if there's only fucking TEETH LEFT, it's- it's fucking you're dead, you're dead.

"If I were to put you in a meat grinder," goddamnit, it's so fucked up! You understand what I'm sayin' though, I'm not actually saying that I'm going to put somebody in a meat grinder, goddamnit. Whatever.

:hitmontop::wyrdeer::salamence:
Ability: Intimidate
Change: Give Intimidate to Silcoon (now Primary Ability, Toxic Masculinity as hidden ability), Wyrdeer (replaces Toxic Masculinity), Hitmontop (replaces Toxic Masculinity), Collachet, Goomba (added as a fourth ability)
Description: Toxic Masculinity is just bad? Without Intimidate, there are very few ways to lower Att so the ability replacing Intimidate kills itself. The ability can stay, just give Intimidate back to most of these Pokemon.

Item: Tube of One Billion Lemons
Effect: Raises the power of Lemon Type moves by 1.2x.
Fling Power: 30
Justification: One billion lemons are in this tube... use it wisely.

Item: Comically Large Spoon
Effect: Raises the power of Silly Type moves by 1.2x.
Fling Power: 80
Justification: It's like the Twisted Spoon but instead of being twisted it's just rather big, to hilarious consequence.

Adjustment: Anti-Transphobia Clause
Description: Trans Pokemon cannot be removed/banned from the metagame. Current list of Pokemon with the Trans flag are Sylveon, Zacian, Samurott-Sinnoh, Goomba, Zelda, and Traike. Also, Pokemon with the Trans flag do not change gender when hit by Gender Affirming Care, with it instead raising their Def and SpD by one stage each.
Justification: As has been established, the Wheel of Doom is transphobic, and will no doubt attempt to use the guise of randomness to safeguard its blatantly transphobic banning process. Therefore, a measure of protection is clearly a necessity, lest it run unopposed. The currently prior ban target Sunflora will doubtlessly be interviewed to see if it is yet another victim of the wheel's clear bias.

(( Traike is already removed via Wheel of Doom iirc ))

Ability: Acidic Drizzle
Effect: Sets up a new weather called Acid Rain for 5 turns. During Acid Rain, each side loses one Fishing Token every turn. Additionally, all Water and Steel-types that aren’t also a Lemon or Bug-type will lose 1/8th of their HP every turn, whereas Lemon-types will regain 1/16th of their HP every turn.
Permanent: No
Mold Breaker: No
Pokémon With This Ability: Lemon (replaces Alpha Sigma Rizz)
Justification: Lemon (the mon) is so buns right now. I normally don’t like resubmitting things but the general consensus is that zxgzxg was a bad Supreme Leader, and he rejected this during his reign, so i’m willing to give this a second chance under Beaf Cultist’s rule, especially since I like the idea of Acidic Drizzle and Lemon really, really needs a buff to compete with or even synergize with other Lemon-type options. (original justification was Lemon is severely outclassed by other Lemon-types such as Zestii and Apple's Newest Emoji, so this should give Lemon a niche that makes it stand out. It deals a lot of residual damage to Water and Steel-types, and also gives Lemon-types what is basically a free Leftovers, making them more bulky. Additionally, the loss of Fishing Tokens on both sides stunts Fishing Token progression for both you and your opponent, so you have to sacrifice any Fishing Token-based strategies if you want to use Acidic Drizzle.)

Adjustment
Move:
POG
Power: 60 (from 40)
Accuracy: 100%
PP: 16
Category: Physical
Type: Steel
Effect: Always super-effective. (no longer paralyzes or raises attack)
Priority: 0
Flags: None
Justification: This move is really, really broken right now. Togedemaru (its only user right now) has a massive 133 speed stat, and with it paralyzing and raising its attack by one stage each use, it can quickly snowball out of control. Removing those two aspects of the move and bumping its power up slightly would allow Toge to still deal decent damage, without being able to sweep the entire enemy team.

Adjustment
Metagame Change:
Iron Fistlandia Departed Leaders Union
Change: Instead of only consisting of zxgzxg, it now includes all prior Supreme Leaders except zxgzxg. Also, a majority vote of Supreme Leaders must agree on what to change (on a case-by-case basis, ex. if they only majority agree on 1 / 3 things, then only that 1 thing is approved).
Justification: I don’t feel I need to elaborate on this.

Move: TRANS RIGHTS!
Power: -
Accuracy: -
PP:
40 (max 64)
Category: Status
Type: Silly
Effect: Raises the stats of all Pokemon with the Trans flag by 1 stage each. If used against an opponent who has "Transgender" or any variation in their name, the match ends with a draw and a message that reads "Trans people always win together!"
Priority: 0
Flags: None
Pokémon With This Move: Sylveon, Zacian, Samurott-Sinnoh, Goomba, Zelda, any future Pokemon with the Trans flag
Justification: Need I say more?

Adjustment
Move Change:
Gender Assignment Care (or something
Change: Upon their gender being changed, they'll become validated and gain the Trans flag for the rest of the battle.
Justification: Need I say more?

Name: Iron Fist (item)
Effect: Punch moves turn into Single Iron Bash.
Justification: flinchcels HATE this one weird trick!

Name: Velvet Blade
BP: 90
Effect: Disguises as the first status move in the user's moveset. If the user has no status moves, has halved power.
Justification:
tricking them into letting their guard down by appearing to ally with them, before striking them where they'd least expect it

:ss/plusle::ss/minun:
Name: minun & plusle!
Stats: 75 / 50 / 50 / 100 / 100 / 125 | 500
Movepool Changes: +Lion Deluge
Justification: stats are insane so lets tone it down significantly (stats calcd by fusing minun and plusle then taking 1.25x of the stat and rounding it to the nearest 5)

Name: Belly Drum
Type: Silly
Category: Physical
BP: 80
Accuracy: 100%

Pokemon: Particlage
Typing: Electric
Base Stats: 89/73/87/111/83/121 (564)
Abilities: Technician/Natural Cure/Accumulate
Every time a Pokemon with Accumulate deals damage, deal an additional 6.25% damage. This increases by a further 6.25% for every hit the opposing Pokemon has directly recieved a Pokemon with Accumulate. This amount stays between switches and is unique to every Pokemon. The damage from Accumulate is considered indirect damage and does not share the flags of the move used. Only the first hit of multi hit moves apply these effects.

Abilities: Drought
Movepool: Groudon's natdex movepool + hold hands and cuddIe
*This pokemon is always female*

Weight: 950 kg
Custom Elements: N/a
Competitive Role: Groudon, but she's a geology and paleo nerd
Flavor / Description: She's a big lizard, and she's here to bring sunshine to her girlfriends Kyogre and Rayquaza. This is not her full power, but she's fine with being weakened, if that means she gets to be with her girlfriends.

Name: Multi Attack
Adjustment: If SpA > Atk, becomes a Special Attack

Metagame Change: Wheel of Doom is now Extended Vacation
How it work: Nobody likes having their subs deleted, but everyone likes vacations. Instead of sending the mons to DOOM, we instead send them on a vacay to Happyfunland. Unfortunately, we didn't get Round-Trip tickets for them, so unless a kind soul sponsors (re-subs) them, they're stuck there.

Greetings, everyone! It has been a great day among the Diamond Hand's ranks...both Princirang and Nedontrol have passed the seal of approval, and are now ready to help us in the battlefield. Though, the former nearly got rejected by a violation of the rules. When the veto phase says that it any approved changes gets in scott free, they get in scott free! I have also received a variety of upgrades on my behalf, from the ability to recover my wounds, to being able to swap the bodies of anyone I desire...finally, a use for my tank of royal Magikarp. But, these benefits came at a price...We recieved a grievous attack from a giant monster that calls itself "The Pearl Hand", which had weapons designed to destroy our ranks...and Lawset gave his life to send it back. But, we will adapt....
And yet, another price befell us, as now we can only submit one new Pokémon to a slate at a time for now. This means our ranks are going to grow a lot slower...so we need all the help we can get in recruiting members made by other people. On the plus side, this also means that we can now do something we haven't done before...give the other beasts an offer they can't refuse!

Pokémon: Dr. Liberty (Doctor + Liberty)
Typing: =
Base Stats: 89/71/78/120/117/100 (575)
Abilities: Mad Scientist
Movepool: Chaos Potion, Justice Potion, Feebas Pro Shops, Air Horn, Peck, Confusion, Poison Gas, Transform, Hypnosis, Power Swap, Guard Swap, Power Trick, Drill Peck, Rising Voltage, Corrosive Gas, Corrosive Gus, Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Strength Sap, Lunge, Skitter Smack, Thief, Snarl, Nasty Plot, Foul Play, Taunt, Dark Pulse, Knock Off, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Electric Terrain, Wild Charge, Supercell Slam, Charge, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Low Kick, Brick Break, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave, Aura Sphere, Upper Hand, Acrobatics, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Roost Air Slash, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Spite, Curse, Trailblaze, Energy Ball, Swift, Metronome, Weather Ball, Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic, Psybeam, Psyshock, Reflect, Light Screen, Imprison, Skill Swap, Trick, Psychic, Trick Room, Psychic Terrain, Gravity, Future Sight, Expanding Force, Psychic Noise, Flash Cannon, Gyro Ball, Metal Sound, Big Bash, Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, Endure, Facade, Helping Hand, Protect, Rest, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Take Down, Tera Blast, Fishing Terrain, Fish Eater, Hold Hands, Mewing
Weight: 76.4 lbs.
Custom Elements:
Chaos Potion: A Psychic-type status move with 16 PP and +2 Priority. Turns the user into a random Pokémon. (Same effect as Identity Crisis)
Justice Potion: A Psychic-type status move with 16 PP and -2 Priority. Turns the target into a random Pokémon. (Same effect as Identity Crisis)
Mad Scientist: When this Pokémon is sent out, it deploys a Madness Counter on it's side of the field. This is an entry hazard that makes the next Diamond Hand member sent out on it have it's highest stat increase by 1, consuming the Madness Counter in the process.
Competitive Role: Unpredictable Special Sweeper
Flavor / Description: Dr Liberty serves as the scientist of the Diamond Hand, based around the phrase "Put your thinking cap on". With his crazy concoctions that can turn anything into anything, he had mostly worked on the sidelines, creating new weapons for the Diamond Hand to use. He was additionally the one responsible for creating Zestii and Nihilink. However, with the battle raging on, Dr. Liberty has finally stepped into the battlefield! The biggest mystery, though, is how he even got into the Diamond Hand in the first place. No-one is certain....not even Dr. Liberty himself. But apparently, it involved a vat of acid that was exposed to the energy of the Slumbering Weald....
Note: This Pokémon is male only.

Metagame Change: Diamond Hand move tag: Moves can now be tagged as being part of the Diamond Hand, as well as Pokémon. Any Pokémon that has a Diamond Hand move in it's moveset is automatically treated as being part of the Diamond Hand, and will be supported by moves such as Get Em', Boys. By default, the Diamond Hand moves are Velvet Blade, Diamond Hatchet, Rainbow Feather, Frigid Terrain, Get Em', Boys, Throw Em' A Mug, Jurassic Feast, and Enchanted Boomerang, alongside Call The Boss, Chaos Potion, and Justice Potion if they get approved.

New move: Call The Boss: A Normal-type Status Move with 16 PP and -2 Priority. The user switches out. If the new Pokémon is a Diamond Hand member, their highest stat is raised by 1, or 2 if they're Daiyafia or Anarlvet. Can be learnt by all Diamond Hand members (Except for Daiyafia)

Metagame Change:
The wheel of doom has continued to spew propaganda, influencing less active members of the server to continue to support this evil wheel of doom. Even Jirachitwo, a true and proud villain, can’t stand by idly anymore.
Jirachitwo sacrifices itself using a vine boom barrage until it inevitably uses final gambit in exchange for permanently banning the wheel of doom and any other attempts to ban mons without due process and justifiable reason. Unless the opposition can offer something more powerful than the worth of a soul, the wheel of doom will be destroyed and all mons removed by the wheel of doom will be restored to their former glory. All mons except Jirachitwo. Jirachitwo’s legality status in the teambuilder is now set to “Usurper of the Wheel” instead of “Gone!” and cannot be used.
Ok but sunflora is still gone
As it fades from view, it reminds the residents of Iron Fistlandia, “Vine Boom was supposed to be 50 power…”

Metagame Change:
Recharge moves (hyper beam, giga impact, hydro cannon, frenzy plant, blast burn, roar of time, eternabeam, prismatic laser, rock wrecker, meteor assault, shadow half) and any future recharge moves deemed worthy of this are buffed to 155.26 power (if applicable) and a recharge turn is no longer required if the move breaks a substitute, knocks out the target, the user is targeted by a binding move (even if it misses), the user flinches, or the user is put to sleep after the move but before the recharge turn (gen 1 effects).
tl;dr gen 1 hyperbeam returns
