Custom Elements: Epic Sprite + This Pokemon is internally considered Morpeko for purposes of Aura Wheel not automatically failing.

Competitive Role: A strong Rapid Spinner (able to get rid of Fishing Tokens) with solid coverage, decent defensive Typing, and getting rid of the randomized deletion of Pokemon. Has a noticably bad matchup into mons like Mega Moltres even after their own nerfs and no recovery outside of Rest keeps its longevity in check.

Flavor / Description: The Wheel shall hunt its prey boldly, roaming the streets of our great nation in search of blood for its tribute!

Charon does not ferry unfortunate souls to the underworld without getting paid his dues.

None are immune to the cycle of life and death. If the Pokemon Feebas is ever selected by the Wheel of Doom, Jump "cylconez_" Heart is immediately banned from the mod and forced to relinquish maintenance duties to whoever the current Dictator may be. This change cannot be altered or repealed in any way, shape, or form, nor can the Wheel of Doom be further changed or altered in any way. The only exception to this is for Jumpheart themselves to propose a repeal of the ENTIRE Wheel of Doom, removing it from the mod. As long as they themselves are willing to put their life on the line, the Wheel of Doom will be allowed to spin without further interference.

Competitive Role: It's Hydrapple but with a better defensive typing, with useful resistances to Ground, Fire, Electric, and a 4x resistance to Water. Lemon also neutralizes its weakness to Ice instead of being 4x weak to it. Can't be unviable.
Flavor: It's hydrapple except the worms are sticking out of a lemon, and it's drenched in sour lemon syrup.

The holder also heals 6/10 HP instead of 5/10 HP from recovery moves and is immune to Gender Affirming Care, Lethal Hug, Play Rough, and Gex Server.

this seems pretty inconsequential in its current state, plus flat adding BP is kinda weird. just make the boost 1.2x

now go make changes or smth idk i didnt read the rules

Multiplier doesn't gel with the flavor as well imo but I'll accept the veto to Bob's Curse.
 
Clarification: Punching Glove is functionally unchanged. Thief, and any other move that "Steels an item", would now have a custom interaction that makes those moves turn Punching Gloves (and only punching gloves) into Iron Fists. All other interactions with Thief are unchanged. (Well, unchanged by me. I think someone else was reverting Thief back to vanilla?)
 
The verdicts are in and the sheet has been updated! You can find Beaf's results on the sheet here! Lots of good metagame changes while also keeping the spirit of the mod very much alive, featuring additions such as Box of One Dozen Starving, Crazed Weasels and a Toxapex nerf!

I am also pleased to announce the reformation of the Iron Fistlandia Departed Leaders Union to be more than just zxgzxg (who didn't even utilize his absolute power lol). Here's how it will work: from now on, after a leader is done with their reign, the people of Iron Fistlandia will vote to see if they join the Union. The Union gets three subs per slate automatically added to the mod, which must be chosen democratically within. Excited to see what the leaders come up with. The initial ballot for the first six leaders can be found in the Google form here!

Beaf has selected Tanny89k as his successor. We're going to wait a little bit, probably about a week, before starting the next slate to give time for playtesting, as people are actually starting to take that seriously. Thanks for a fun mod so far!

It is time for Slate 7 Campaigning! While we didn't get time to playtest due to issues in coding, we did have some good discussions, and the Iron Fistlandia Departed Leader's Union has been formed, with all former leaders except zxgzxg being eligible for membership!

Our first candidate is Tanny89k, who has been a cornerstone of the metagame so far. She has been one of our biggest playtesters. She has built and shared several teams to the public. She has arguably the best understanding of the metagame of anyone. Perhaps most importantly, she has a pulse on the submission process, boasting a whopping 15/17 rate on submissions making it into the metagame.

Tanny was a very popular candidate, and it was difficult finding people to oppose her. As I didn't want people's first election to be against a titan of a candidate, for the first time, we will be holding reslates for people who I think have something to prove. Her challengers are:

BIG ASHLEY has been a popular celebrity in Iron Fist, who has passed 5/8 proposals so far, emerging as a well-known figure in Iron Fistlandia. In the Slate 4 election, she was a very popular choice but lost in a last minute surge from eventual winner DuoM2, prompting a recount in Georgia, and since then has been in the forefront as a candidate to be respected when she gets another opportunity.

Ubertrainer2000 was randomly selected as one of our first three candidates in Slate 1, and unfortunately was still an unknown at this point, having a poor election result despite a promising campaign. Since then, he has made a name for himself as a citizen of Iron Fistlandia, and giving him a chance to defeat Tanny would prove his growth since then. His 8/18 success rate on proposals is admittedly lacklustre, but what do you expect when your Diamond Hand policies are considered radical? Will the people choose him?

The candidates will have at least 24 hours to make their speeches before the election begins. BIG ASHLEY, Uber: if you do not want to be SL, let me know ASAP and I will substitute you out. I will throw Copen to the wolves. Good luck to our aspiring Supreme Leaders!

hello fistoids. BIG ASHLEY here. realistically the funniest option is that i get nommed every few slates and come second by one vote every time. that said, it would also be cool if i became the big boss. here's what you could expect from the ASHLEY regime:
  • first of all, i know absolutely nothing about the metagame. i don't really play comp mons much beyond loading up dogshit teams an eight-year-old could have made and getting stuck at 1250 on various ladders. i have no idea what's good in iron fist or even how to build teams for it. dragon heaven (or whatever it's called nowadays) scares me and i wouldn't know what was broken or rubbish even if i playtested. that's why -- in the vein of beaf cultist -- i would be very open to community feedback on submissions, in order to keep the meta healthy/make it less broken/de-boringify it (delete as appropriate).
  • as you may have noticed, i'm a big fan of silly little guys (feebas, sentret, minun & plusle!, inkay, etc..) if elected, however, i promise to develop a second personality: cool edgy mon enjoyer. i hope this will bring more diversity to the mod.
  • my other legislative priorities will include:
a) getting togepi in (it won't be broken lads it has no stats)b) honestly that's about it. other than that i will listen to what the community says and base my judgements on that. at least, that's what i'm claiming. entirely possible that i go mad with power, delete the spreadsheet, & turn the meta into munchlax-only metronome 1v1s.c) ban duom2 (i have sworn revenge)so that's my policy platform. it's probably shit but i'm not proofreading this. you've all had lots of practice voting for BIG ASHLEY. it's time to do it for real. together, we can prove that BIG ASHLEY is so much more than a shitposter. glory to ironfistlandia!
