Welcome to Iron Fist, where one person has all the power to shape the mod each slate. This micrometa Pet Mod features no council, but instead, a rotating position of absolute power that can approve or deny every potential addition or removal to the mod. There are no vetos. There is no council. Just the Supreme Leader of Iron Fistlandia!

Rules of the mod:

Each slate will be split into two phases, an Election phase and a Submissions phase.

Elections Phase
The Election features three candidates for the Supreme Leadership facing off in a head-to-head poll using Smogon reacts, a flawless voting system. There will be a short window of time between the candidates being announced and voting for candidates to campaign. Why should we vote for you? Are you going to bring balance to the tier? Are you just going to approve things that benefit the stall agenda? Are you going to give it a laissez-faire go and let everything through, or just the one submission for that one user whose metagame opinions you like? There are some additional election rules that I will include in a spoiler.

One election candidate is hand-picked by the previous Supreme Leader. The other two will be picked by me based off of activity in the mod and previous reigns, both quality and quantity. Some additional rules:
  1. If someone is nominated for election and wins, they can't be nominated for one slate.
  2. If someone is nominated for election twice in a row and loses both times, they can't be nominated for one slate.
  3. If a Supreme Leader's successor is chosen, the successor cannot nominate the old Supreme Leader.
  4. I'll plan to participate myself, both in subbing and elections, but would only nominate myself if there's a lack of potential nominees.
  5. Similarly, these rules can be relaxed if needed to to get a full election.
  6. In case of tie, I will flip a coin.
The reason many rules are in effect are to let a variety of people get in power. The goal is to encourage spreading the love and letting everyone who wants to be dictator get a chance.

Submissions Phase
After a Supreme Leader is chosen, we enter submissions phase. For a few days, people will be able to submit up to 3 pieces of legislation to cross the leader's desk. The Supreme Leader themselves cannot submit, they can only approve or deny. These can be:
  • New Pokemon to the mod
  • New moves or abilities, along with distribution
  • New items
  • Adjusting existing elements
  • Repealing previously approved legislation
  • Changing the rules of the metagame itself (please approve this with me before submitting)
After the submission window closes, it is up to the elected Supreme Leader to go through each legislation and approve or deny. From there, there will be at least a day of cooldown between slates to give time for new candidates to be chosen and people to discuss changes to the metagame.

Slate 0: Drafting a Constitution
As this is a Micrometa, we need a place to start from. An initial draft of legislation. To do this, we're going to each submit one Pokemon to the mod. Be creative! Whatever you submit, barring it being completely broken (or impossible to code), will be included for Slate 1 of the mod. Just don't get too attached to it, as I guarantee every submission here won't be in-tact by the time we finish.

Flavor / Description: First idea I had seemed funny enough so I just went with it. Gunk Shot is going to sting off of such a big Attack stat even if the rest of its moves aren't quite as strong. Knock Off and Liquidation should at least be reasonably spammable. Like really, you get this thing in, click Knock Off and then your opponent has to deal with an infinite priority attack that chunks even the stuff that counters it. Speed is horrible even for a slower breaker but its bulk is not bad at all for its typing and role. Pretty unhealthy but should be very unique and fun to use, perfect for a meta like this.

Flavor / Description: Designed to be part of an organization of Pokémon called "The Diamond Hand", specializing in keeping the behemoths of the Iron Fist arena under control, Anarlvet is a hitman Pokémon themed around the phrase, "An iron fist in a velvet glove", which is used to describe someone who appears to be gentle and soft, but is actually forceful and determined. With it's signature blade, the Auctor Wile, Anarlvet will put down any monster that it thinks is a destructive force, tricking them into letting their guard down by appearing to ally with them, before striking them where they'd least expect it...such as the fact that it disguised itself as the Karate Master to trick Hitmonchan into thinking it was being trained, when in reality it was setting up it's own demise!
Note: Anarlvet is a Legendary Pokémon, and it is male only.
