If You Can't Beat 'Em, Join 'Em

Looks like you've got a good team here. Here are my suggestions:

For Swampert, I'd prefer Ice Beam over Hydro Pump. Hydro Pump has a lower accuracy than Ice Beam, so since Swampert is more on the defensive end you'll want a move that's reliable and can take out deadly threats.

If you're comfortable with Jolteon as it is, then leave it. My only suggestion is to take out either Thunderbolt or Charge Beam(maybe Thunderbolt instead because you have Lifore Orb plus the possibility of raising your Sp. Attack stat) and replace it with Magnet Rise because Earthquake(and any other ground type move) is going to OHKO Jolteon no matter what. Jolteon has no other weaknesses and should be able to take at least 2 non-ground hits.

As for Gyarados, Leftovers is more important than Life Orb because you've got Dragon Dance. With one DD, you hard. With two, OHKO's are definatly in sight. I think I'd go with Ice Fang over Stone Edge because it's a more versatile move. Ice Fang would be your only Ice move if you stay with Hyrdo Pump for Swampert. Even if choose Ice Beam for Swampert, having more than one Ice move is very effective.

For Heracross, I think Pursuit is the better move. When you send Heracross in to counter another pokemon, your opponent will most likely switch and that's where Pursuit shines. Also, Pursuit goes better with Choice Scarf because in the event that your opponent does switch, you're stuck with Pursuit along with any other move. Compared being stuck with Pursuit or stuck with Night Slash against a pokemon that can withstand them won't matter because you'll most likely want to switch.

An Adamant nature would be better on Heracross, because Scarfcross needs all the power it can get. Stone Edge on Gyarados is your best bet, because it's the most useful against other Gyarados.

@ Blue: Ok, I decided to go with Ice Beam on Swamp. Magnet Rise sounds wierd on Jolt, but I'll try it out and see how it goes. Leftovers and Stone Edge seemed more useful on Gyara since Ice Fang does pitiful damage to Zapdos. Kept pursuit on Hera.

@ Staraptor Call: I would go with Adamant, but Hera needs the extra speed to outrun +speed Scarftran. Even with Jolly Hera does alot of dmage due to 2 high power STAB.

Run Hydropump on pert. Ice beam hits dragons but swampert is a lead. Compared to other lead pokemon, Ice Beam fails to do enough damage while hydro pump maintains good coverage. Heatran leads carry shuca so by using hydro pump you will bypass the berry and still inflict SE damage. Salamence won't be coming out early in the match unless if it's mixed and starts firing Draco Meteors wich will take pert down on the switch-in. I'de run the Specially bulky scizor. It seems alot of people are starting to use it but it's only if you are using it as your premier latias counter which I belive you are. Those EVs are really just fillers that I remember giving to some people and someone decided to use them and so on. There are more accurate ways to distribute the EVs. One is by running less atack but I would avoid it as U-Turn can use all the extra power it can get and it helps picking off poke who might resist bullet punch. It seems that running 176 in both HP and SDef provides the best results against a +1 Latias' surf but again, you will end up running less power. I'm pretty sure that your Gyara won't be able to OHKO celebi with a +1 ice fang, possibly due to jolly. If you want to keep jolly in order to hit jolteon then that's fine but I always felt that adamant was better due to he more power. Leftovers is alright but I'm sure you'll be getting les OHKOes without an adamant nature and LO. Leftovers is usually better on a bulkydos because it can usually take more hits and the extra recovery helps it counter physical sweepers with less trouble and make switching into SR a bit less painful.

The reason New Mixmence is used more is because of its ability to wall break more freely. With both outrage and draco meteor, the only sure fire answer to him is a faster pokemon or ice shard. Walling him is almost impossible to do without using Draco Meteors SAtk drop to an advantage. I never understood roost on mence because without proper support he is rarely in a position in which he can roost constantley. Brick Beak deals less damage to blissey than outrage when factoring in STAB. EQuake can OHKO Heatran on the switch and 2HKO a ttar who quite a chunk from draco meteor if he switches into it. Running both heracross and Scizor is a bit unneeded. They both take out Latias and Celebi and Scizor is just better at it. You can always try another Scarfer or you can try a more offensive set focused on damaging rather than targeting just a few pokemon. Heracross isn't that fast though so if you want a good revenge killer then try someone with a higher speed or better reliabilty such as scarftran. GL

@ Mc2094: You give a good reason to use Hydro Pump over Ice Beam. Leadtrans have been a problem lately, so I'll try it out and see how it goes. Also, the Specially bulky Scizor looks good, but the loss of Attack is a turn off. Nonetheless, I'll try it out. As for Gyara, LO is going over Lefties. Even at +1 Gyara fails to OHKO Metagross with EQ who tends to blow up on Gyara alot. As for a Scarfer, Heracross is great, but tends to die alot due to Megahorn and Stone Edge missing alot. I'm thinking about using Infernape as a scarfer:

Infernape @ Choice Scarf
64 Atk | 252 SpA| 192 Spd
Naive
  • Fire Blast | Flamthrower
  • Close Combat
  • Hidden Power [Ice]
  • U-turn | Thunderpunch
With 192 Spd EVs can outspeed +1 positive nature Salamence and can OHKO with HP [Ice]. Is faster than Hera and has good type coverage.
