SV OU I need help on my latios ho team

https://pokepast.es/8759e7d772c17b27

I need help with this team. It’s good, but I feel that it could be better.

Kingambit @ Lum Berry
Ability: Supreme Overlord
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Kowtow Cleave
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head

Kingambit is my late game sweeper and main revenge killer. It acts as an immediate threat granted that something like Great Tusk or Iron Valiant can threaten a kill. With a Lum Berry, it can act as a temporary sponge for status effects as well. However, when it is attacking, the Lum Berry can be a great tool for paralysis, burn (when not Tera Fire, used to block burn) and sleep. Tera Fire avoids Fighting and resists Fairy, while the Ground weakness is half covered by Rillaboom’s grassy terrain.

Latios (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Dragon Pulse
- Luster Purge
- Shadow Ball
- Aura Sphere

Latios is the special wall breaker on the team, with Shadow Ball to hit Ghost types like Gholdengo, and Aura Sphere to hit Dark/Ice/Steel types like Kingambit, Excadrill, Darkrai, Archaludon, and Weavile. Tera Dragon provides a STAB on Dragon Pulse and removing the Dark/Ghost weakness from common threats (Gholdengo, Kingambit, Roaring Moon, Dragapult).

Great Tusk @ Leftovers
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off
- Ice Spinner
- Headlong Rush

Great Tusk is the rapid spinner and main check for opposing Gholdengo and Kingambit. Tera Steel offers a check for Psychic/Fairy attacks from mons such as Enamorus, Iron Valiant, and Psyshock Gholdengo. Ice Spinner hits Gliscor and Landorus-T, and Knock Off is an overall good way to remove items and hit Psychic/Ghost types.

Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 52 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Wood Hammer
- Knock Off
- U-turn

Rillaboom is the terrain setter as well as another priority user and strong pivot for the team. With U-turn and Knock Off, they offer reliable forms of pivot and item removal. Wood Hammer is a powerful damage dealer and can threaten Iron Valiant and Great Tusk, but can also deal a sizeable amount of damage to a large pool of mons. The 200 HP EVs provide some bulk for rillaboom, which has saved the win an multiple scenarios.

Grimmsnarl @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Impish Nature
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Spirit Break
- Parting Shot

Grimmsnarl is the screens setter and main pivot for the team, providing a means of surviving attacks from many offensive Pokémon. The EVs for Grimmsnarl allow it to tank a couple more hits while setting screens. Parting Shot is a nice pivot into something like Kingambit, Latios, Rillaboom, or Gouging Fire. Spirit Break provides means of hitting Dark and Dragon types, and is still capable of OHKOing Roaring Moon. Tera Fairy provides a boost for Spirit Break is some scenarios.

Gouging Fire @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fairy
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Morning Sun
- Flare Blitz
- Outrage

Gouging Fire is another setup sweeper along with Kingambit, and a Booster Energy to boost its attack even further along with Dragon Dance, allowing it to outspeed a majority of the tier and meta game with a single Dragon Dance. Flare Blitz and Outrage are powerful, stab moves capable of OHKOing or 2KOing a lot of the common mons used in the current meta game. Morning Sun is a reliable way to heal half of your health, especially behind dual screens. Tera Fairy is a way of negating the weaknesses that Gouging Fire’s current base typing has, and is also an immunity to Dragon after Terastalizing.

If someone can help me with this team, then I greatly appreciate it!

I like the team! You seem to have a bit of an understanding of Hyper Offense and some metagame knowledge. I have some suggestions that can improve the team without changing too many of its components. The Pokepaste is linked right below.

My version: :kingambit: :latios: :great-tusk: :rillaboom: :ninetales-alola: :gouging-fire:

Changes

1. :ninetales-alola: > :grimmsnarl:: While Prankster + Screens is nice, you need two turns to set up screens, which makes screens less valuable since they will wear faster as well as more difficult to set up both due to needing more time to set up. :grimmsnarl: is good in that it resists Ghost and Dark, but you already have :kingambit: for that role, so it is not needed. Your previous team gets destroyed by opposing weather teams, especially Sun, so I thought :ninetales-alola: would be the perfect fit for the team. Aurora Veil is set up in one turn, you gain strong weather control in Snow Warning + Snowscape, you have a countermeasure against set-up with Encore, and you are still fast so you can fire off Moonblast into the many Dragon-types of the tier. Keep in mind that Snow will weaken healing from :gouging-fire:'s Morning Sun, but Snow will not last long enough for this to be a big deal.

2. :great-tusk:: Your team struggles to be a strong Hyper Offense in two aspects: lack of set-up sweepers + lack of speed control. There are some other minor issues like hazards to wear down the opposing team, but that's not a big concern and would be too difficult to address with your team. Your :great-tusk: set does not take advantage of screen support at all. To remedy these issues a bit, I opted for Speed-boosting Booster Energy :great-tusk: with Bulk Up > Knock Off. The boost will put you at 450 Speed, which is still fairly slow for HO but better than it was before; plus, you can Rapid Spin once to be at a very high speed. Max special defense with veil up means :great-tusk: will eat special hits surprisingly well, and you will be able to get off multiple Bulk Ups to be a strong sweeper.

3. :latios:: This is personal preference but I made the set Flip Turn > Shadow Ball. The only Pokemon you would want to click Shadow Ball on is :gholdengo:. If you get the 50% chance drop with Luster Purge, they will be forced to switch, and you claim a KO anyway. If you don't get drop, you can almost always go :kingambit: and eat the hit; most sets do not run Focus Blast, and they have to predict your switch to :kingambit: and land the hit to punish you. Flip Turn is a nice pivot move if you are unsure what they want to do and want to make a safe switch to a teammate. I put Draco Meteor > Dragon Pulse to have a more immediate impact on the opponent. Tera Psychic is preferred as Luster Purge is your most spammable move, and the extra power makes :latios: a big threat to the opponent if they let their Dark-type go down.

4. EV Changes:
a. :kingambit:: 5 of your members struggle heavily against :corviknight:. I made :kingambit: faster than :corviknight:/:skeledirge:, it is pretty necessary in my opinion.
b. :latios:: 4 EVs moved from HP to Defense so you do not take as much damage from Stealth Rock.
c. :great-tusk:: I touched upon this already, but 252+ Speed with only 4 Attack allows you to boost Speed. 252 Special Defense lets you tank special hits better when paired with Aurora Veil support.

I hope these suggestions help you out! :latios: :latios: :latios:
