I made these all pngs just for you 1LDK :)
Hey everyone. I'd like to show this team out. For the past 2 months or so I've been in midladder hell in around 1400s to 1500s. With this(and after some stubborn laddering), I managed to get to top 100. So thats nice. Here we go
Roaming Sea (
) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 232 HP / 176 Atk / 100 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Ceaseless Edge
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Aqua Cutter
In my opinion,
is one of the most versatile and solid mons in the tier, with the amount of utility and wallbreaking it can bring in just one slot. I got this set from ausma, so go say thanks to her. This set uses the Rocky Helmet, punishing any sort of spinning from
or
, but also now being a decent check to
,as helmet plus aqua cutter can chip it down, especially with spikes. Aqua Cutter is used here for
or
, as its a noncontact move, with the crit chance being nice. SD augments this to break balance teams open so that stuff like
or even
can't switch in safely. Basically, this goober is your swiss army knife. 100 Speed EVs is for speedcreeping 229 speed, making sure stuff like
or
are still outsped. 176 Atk is for 2hkoing non leftovers
with a +2 Ceaseless Edge. The rest is put into HP so you're bulkier into some threats like
and
. Tera Ghost is here for some spinblocking and against
.
Starry Night (
) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
Specs
is always nice to have even with
being everywhere, cuz you break open teams with Shadow Ball. Not much needed to be said here. Infiltrator is the main move here especially, with multiple encounters with Veils or Substitutes being annoying to play against. Again Tera ghost is here to just obliterate any neutral targets with hazards. Be careful with this guy though, since you sometimes have to preserve this guy's health for
and such.
Terminator (
) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 244 Atk / 12 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Ice Spinner
- Rapid Spin
Originally, this role was filled out by
. But that guy can't take a special attack for its life, so we have
back. I decided to go more offensive with this team's direction. With Boots, the MU vs Webs are at least less piss than before, and you honestly don't need leftovers for this guy. 12 SpD are for being able to survive a +2 Booster Energy
Dragon Pulse. Tera Ghost is here to make sure any attempts to spin by
are made impossible, and also cuz I was too lazy to change the tera. This guy may eventually have to 1v1
, in which case its rough without
. But as long as you don't play like shit, you'll probably be fine.
Pixie Dust (
) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Contrary
Tera Type: Ground
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
- Mystical Fire
- Healing Wish
Every team wants a fairy type, and
filled the job well, with its amazing typing and solid power. Healing Wish is one especially clutch move, as being able to bring one goober back to full HP is super powerful if you can keep up the pressure. Also BTW, don't use this whatever this thing is to check
, you'll get popped like every time so just healing wish into your
. Tera Ground is here for excellent traits like not fumbling to
and beating the piss out of
and
. Pretty solid at tearing teams open. Used to hate this goober but I honestly like it now.
Ivy Fury (
) (F) @ Wellspring Mask
Ability: Water Absorb
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Ivy Cudgel
- Power Whip
- Knock Off
does what it does as the resident war criminal for
and
. Knock Off is here for beating
or
, and crippling any switch ins with hazards. You honestly can't go wrong with this guy as long as you aren't dumb. Also sometimes you can just Tera Water and break a
even with the Dauntless boost if you set up beforehand, so keep that in mind. Overall, this ogre is your friend, be nice to it.
The Bullet Slinger (
) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Atk / 8 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-turn
- Knock Off
- Close Combat
Another mon Ausma introduced me to. CB
absolutely demolishes teams with enough time. You see people running speed on this guy to outspeed
. But personally, it kinda is just too frail without massive bulk investment, especially when
was everywhere before its ban. Max HP is crucial to survive any dangerous hits, and you use bullet punch or u-turn like 90% of the time, so you're not missing the speed that badly. It's even worth noting that you can be really cruel to a roosting
and do way more dmg that it wants to take with CC. Knock Off is still here for some
shattering, while CC is here to be a semi check to
as the added bulk makes Sucker Punch a little less threatening. Tera Steel is here to destroy a
or a
trying to switch in, and gives a Stealth Rock resistance. Use this guy as your revenge killer and cleaner.

I'm gonna be really honest right now and say that I probably am gonna take a break off of showdown, at least for a while. This entire experience of laddering has been incredibly draining. And I just don't want to deal with that again. I'll probably be active on the OUcord or Pinkacord but laddering is the last thing I want to do now. I could try to get higher but honestly? That's way too much effort right now. I'll update the RMT when I do though. Thanks to the OUcord and Pinkacord. You guys are mostly alright. Thanks again to Ausma for enlightening me on these goobers.
I think that'll be it from me. I got like 3-4 RMTs i'm really proud of so thats really nice. See you guys whenever.
