Welcome to my Little Cup RMT

I don't really play LC , but there were moments when Ubers were pretty boring.
So I decided to make the opposite of Ubers, Little Cup!
This Team is a Hyper Offense Team and and is based to knock off the Opponents Evolites and sweep trough.
But since I don't really play LC the Team is pretty bad.
So I thought I could get some help in Smogon since PO is pretty dead at the moment.
Now enough from me, lets get to the Teambuilding.

The Teambuilding process:

First of all I needed something that could set up some Hazards and do high damage at the same time. After a long time I decided to use Onix instead of all other Hazards Leads, since Onix can Taunt after setting up the Rocks to avoid Defog.
95.png

After my Hazard Lead I needed something that can hit hard and abuse Defog, so Pawniard was the best conclusion. Pawniard is also one of my Pokemons which runs "Knock Off" and has a nice Priority Move.
Pawniard is also my only good answer for fairy Pokemons, if he dies you have to pressure the fairies down with powerful moves.

Pawniard is weak to Fire Moves so adding a Houndour was needed to keep the power still alive. While having also a strong priority move Houndour can hit many Pokemons or blasting the other Pokemons down with a LO Flash Fire "Fireblast". Houndour is also the only option to kill Pokemons with Destiny Bond which are boosted up (SD Mienfoo or Curse Munchlax) .

228.png

Pawniard and Houndour are both weak to Fighting Types Pokemons, which means a Fairy is needed.
Snubbull fit perfect, since he has Intimidate to weaken the opponents Attack States.

He is also pretty strong, so the opponent has to switch carefully after getting intimidated.

Drilbur might be a problem, but I didn't really know what I should add to the team to avoid this problem. So I went with Timburr to always keep the pressure up. Timburr can tank some hits and recover with "Drain Punch". He is also my second "Knock Off" User.

So after realising I had a problem with Fletschling, I needed something that can OHKO it while tanking the "Acrobatics". Chinchou has a great typing to tank the Overheat and Acrobatics. But Chinchou was kinda slow paced to the team, so I decided to use the Choice Scarf Set.

This is the result of my work.

Pokemon Sets:

tumblr_mu1zknodgv1qckwxco1_500.gif

Onix (F) @ Berry Juice
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 76 HP / 236 Atk / 196 Spd
Jolly Nature
-
Stealth Rock
-
Rock Blast
-
Earthquake
- Taunt

The Lead Set which is a fast paced set to outspeed the pokemons which run Defog and Rapid Spin.
As the Item I chosed Berry Juice to get extra HP to survive more attacks from the other Pokemons.
I choosed Rock Blast instead of any other Rock Moves to have a better chance for killing Dwebble.
Earthquake is a strong STAB Move and has some nice coverage, while Taunt stops Defoger.

tumblr_m86d2hqYkq1qdeg6po1_r3_500.gif

Pawniard (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Defiant
EVs: 156 Atk / 36 Def / 116 SDef / 200 Spd
Jolly Nature

- Sucker Punch
-
Iron Head
- Knock Off
- Swords Dance

Pawniard is one of my main sweepers which abuses Defog and Intimidate for his own good. Also he is the only way to get rid of Belly Drum Zigzagoon. He doesn't care about Memento at all, so Zigzagoon and the setuppers are pretty much dead to it. My first Knock Off User which has also STAB on it. The Set is pretty much Standart and I used Swords Dance instead of Pursuit and Brick Break to get huge attack to sweep through.

Houndour (M) Life Orb
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 36 Atk / 196 SAtk / 36 SDef / 240 Spd
Hasty Nature

- Fire Blast
- Dark Pulse
- Sucker Punch
- Destiny Bond

The set is also very standart. A -Def since Houndour is always OHKO by a Mach Punch, so adding a little bulk to the SpeDef is way better. Fire Blast + Dark Pulse for the STAB. Sucker Punch is my priority move and Destiny Bond to get rid of strong Pokemons. Life Orb is obviously for more Power, you could also run Dread Plate, but I prefer more Power.

Snubbull (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 116 HP / 196 Atk / 36 Def / 124 SDef / 36 Spd
Adamant Nature

- Close Combat
- Play Rough
- Thunder Wave
-
Earthquake

Snubbull is my counter to everything that fucks with my team. Thunderwave + 3 Attacks fits best for me, since I run Hyper Offense. Thunderwave is here to make the other pokemons slower so then Snubbull or Timburr can clean them easily off. Close Combat is for Ferroseed if I saw it, it would be 2HKO. Earthquake for the switch ins from Magnemite and Play Rough as a STAB for Vullaby.

Timburr (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Guts
EVs: 76 HP / 196 Atk / 76 Def / 160 SDef
Adamant Nature

- Mach Punch
-
Drain Punch
-
Knock Off
-
Bulk Up

Timburr is my second Pokemon which runs Knock Off and tanks the hits from Drillbur while recovering with Drain Punch. Mach Punch is here to kill Pewniard and I choosed Bulk Up as my filler to tank and hit many Pokemons as possible. Timburr don't really need Speed, since it can outrun pretty much nothing.
So focus on the bulk and power.

Chinchou (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 52 Def / 232 SAtk / 224 Spd
Modest Nature

- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam / Hidden Power Ground

My Fletschling Counter and also Momentum gainer with Volt Switch. Thunderbolt is here to hit other Pokemons harder and Hydro Pump for the other STAB Move. For the last slot I used Ice Beam, but In my opinion it sucks so I was thinking of changing it to HP Ground. The EVs are SpeAtk, Spd and also a little Bulk to withstand many hits.

Weaknesses:

568.gif
: It's just annoying and hard to deal with. It can set up Spikes pretty easily and I don't really have something that could deal with it. Probably the worst opponent for the team.
446.gif
: If my Houndour is to pressured, this thing just can roll out and kill the whole Team.

532.gif
: The Bulk Up Timburr is also a worse opponent. You can only try to get rid of it with Snubbull.

661.gif
: Same with Munchlax, if Chinchou gets to much damage it could be bad.

I don't have a spinner or spinnblocker.

Hello It's Just Lacus, this team looks very well built and fun to play with. Nice Job!

For Timburr, this EV spread is a little more bulkier and will be more efficient since it can take one Psychic from Abra, which leads you to winning against it 1v1, and it can take other moves pretty well too. EVs: 76 HP / 36 Atk / 156 Def / 236 SpD with a Careful Nature. Also, Poison Jab on Timburr isn't really that necessary on your team since it looks like Pawniard can deal with fairies, so you might as well use Bulk Up instead of Poison Jab.

Pawniard also needs an EV spread change: EVs: 156 Atk / 36 Def / 116 SpD / 196 Spe will allow you to hit Eviolite numbers with 14 defense and 12 special defense, and you just sacrifice 1 attack.

I would also like to suggest Taunt instead of Explosion on Onix because Explosion isn't very important since at most times Rock Blast will do more damage because of LC rolls and hazards can be quite the annoyance to Houndour and the rest of your team. With Taunt, Onix can outspeed most hazard setters and Taunt your opponent so that they can't set up Stealth Rocks, Spikes, or any other entry hazards. Salac Berry isn't the ideal item for Onix, and it's very situational since Onix doesn't really benefit from it because of its lackluster attack stat. Plus, Onix's main purpose is to get a fast Taunt off and Stealth Rocks. Replace Salac Berry with Berry Juice so Onix can perform at its best and get that recovery boost from Berry Juice so that Onix can stay on the field much longer. Finally, Onix's EVs should be 76 HP / 236 Atk / 196 Spe.

That's all the suggestions I have for now. Good luck in your future battles! :)

I was gonna say the same stuff about Onix's EVs and item that Eren Yeagar said, but explosion actually does significant damage and can prevent a defog or spin. Lose Earthquake for taunt instead imo

I recommend swords dance on pawniard over brick break. Pawniard walls opposing pawniard said pretty well, but pokemon like houndoor and gurdurr can easily take it down. Swords dance pawniard can wreck a majority of the meta with sucker punch, but higher up the ladder, idk.

Seconding Swords Dance over Brick Break on Pawniard. The only things Brick Break is hitting are Houndour, Carv, and opposing Pawniards, none of which are real threats to your team. Swords Dance will only add to the pressure this thing can put on the opposing team, making it capable of sweeping later in the game once your opponents team is weakened.

Hey It's just Lacus, this is a great well built team, good job and congrats on your peak! I do have some few nitpicks here and there though:

First of all I do agree with Leremyju and Melonz, having Swords Dance over Brick Break will solve your problems against some walls that threaten your team and allows Pawniard to turn into a deadly late game sweeper. Brick Break doesn't seem to be hitting much like Melonz said except other Pawniard, Houndour, and Carvanha and you've got Timburr that can deal with all of them.

Also I suggest using 0 HP IVs on Houndour, this allows you to lose one HP from Life Orb damage which can be very helpful as it improves Houndour's longevity.

And to be honest I don't feel like you'll need a spinner thanks to Onix's Taunt and its relatively high speed you can prevent hazards setters, which are usually slower than Onix or have the same speed as it, from setting up. And about a spin blocker one isn't really needed in the current meta and you can play around the two common rapid spinners, Drilbur and Staryu, especially with your Scarf Chinchou that a lot of people don't see it coming.

Anyways that's all I have, good luck and I hope I helped!

Lacus give me the team so I can start another tier just like how you thought me how to ubers with your godly ubers team.

Looking at the team straight on its looks scary just cause of how massive onix. It also seems to be a threatening presence as it ensures your rocks, (which I never thought were useful in LC, maybe im wrong)

Drilbur looks like it will cause you MASSIVE problems, being capable of smashing Snubbs with a +1 Poison Jab. Consider running Ferroseed over Snubbull for hazards+ para. I know that it will hurt your momentum, but at least you'll be capable of checking Shell Smash, Spritz, and more with a lot more ease. Consider replacing Houndour with Mixed Bulky NP Gunk too so you aren't shit on by fighting types and have a second soft win condition.

Since you have a setter for hazards, you can run Archen over Onix to handle the other threats you think give the team issues.
