Dragonite, the OG Dragon Pokemon. Dragonite is my favorite Pokemon and has a great design(in my opinion).
Dragonite has a great attack stat of 134, which is better than Garchomp, Machamp, and Gliscor, and a diverse movepool. This makes Dragonite a great physical sweeper and a walkbreaker. Here are some sets/tips on how is him.
Set: Physical sweeper
Move 1: Dragon Dance
Move 2: Fly/ Earthquake/Iron head
Move 3: Fire punch/Ice punch/Thunder punch
Move 4: Extreme Speed/Stone Edge
EVS: 252 ATK/4 DEF/252 SPD
Nature Jolly/Adamant
Item: Leftovers
I personally like this because it can destory ice types, which are Dragonite's biggest counters, and it can break focus sash user with Extreme Speed. Dragonite also has access to the elemental punches, Ice punch for Garchomp, Gliscor, Landorus-T, Salamance and other Dragonites, Fire punch for common ice types like Weavile, Alolan Ninetales and it could alsobe used for Skarmory, and lastly Thunder punch for other pokemon such as, Skarmory, Tornadus-T, Celesteela and Gyarados.
Other options are Iron head for Fairy types, like Clafable and Alolan Ninetales, and Earthquake for Rock/Steel types.
Dragonite can also be used as a Special Attacker, becuase of its OK 100 SPA and good Special moves

Move 2: Fire blast/Flamethrower
Move 3: Hurricane/ Hidden power Flying
Move 4: Draco Meteor/Roost
Nature: Modest/Timid

Dragonite has alot of good Special moves as well. It could use Fire blast to SMELT Skarmory, Celesteela, Magearna, Kartana, and Tangrowth. Thunderbolt is useful against Skarmory (again), Peliper, and other Water/Flying Pokemon. Ice beam against, Garchomp, Tangrowth, Landorus-T, Salamance, etc. Lastly Hurricane for STAB move.
Good matches up
- Skarmory because is has good fire/electric type moves
- Garchomp if caring Ice moves
- Landorus-T if caring Ice moves
- Celesteela
- Himself
- Earthquakes
- Etc
- Ice moves, remember Dragonite is 4x weak to ice types
- Fast Ice types like Weavile, Alolan Ninetales, and whatever else is fast with ice moves
- Salamance is a better alternative because it has a better Attack, Special Attack and Speed stat.
- Garchomp is faster and can kill with Dragon claw
- Stealth rocks take 25% of Dragonite's when it switches in.
- Fairy type Pokemon and moves
- Extremely bulky mons
- Azumaril
