Status: Pretty much finished however needs a spell check
I've seen some new trick room sets going up on the site and really thought that Ho-Oh should really go up as a partner for Palkia and Dialga's trick room sets as it is not even listed as a possible partner.

While no Ho-Oh can not set up trick room it can sweep under trick room and help Palkia or Dialga set up with one of the screens giving them an easier time setting up. Ho-oh also works well with other trick room partners such as Groudon, gives Ho-Oh sunlight and takes rock or electric attacks and in return Ho-oh can take will-o-wisp and grass knots with no problems. Also works with mixed or special Giratina-O as it smashes through Blissey for the special Giratina-O and takes will-O-wisp for the mixed version.

While this can still work with Palkia it is better suited for trick room Dialga for several reasons: it allows Dialga to just be level 100 as the only reason it goes to level 99 is because of Scizor and Ho-Oh is probably the best possible counter. Also as a nice little bonus together they have absolutely no weakness and are resistant or immune to the others weaknesses, are immune to status moves: toxic and Will-O-Wisp and do not mind getting paralyzed so much as the slower the better although getting fully paralyzed is extremely annoying. That is not to say Palkia is not a invalid partner it loves to switch in on incoming Kyogre who is arguably the most annoying Pokemon against Ho-Oh and still as decent typing along side each other with no shared weakness. The ivs, evs and nature maximize attack and lower speed to the lowest possible number while making it bulky as possible while allowing it to survive 2 stealth rock switch ins and tell the tale. As for the moves; your screen of choice and roost is for a good recovery and removes weaknesses however with earthquake you achieve perfect coverage and hit rival Dialga harder however the only Pokemon you lose coverage on are Heatran who is a rather rare sight in Ubers, rock types only one I can think of is Tyranitar who despises burns and is kinda rare anyway. Although hitting enemy Dialga harder is useful as mentioned above it doesn't have much use besides that and you lose a useful move. Finally the items are pretty self explained bulk vs power.
