Hide and Seaking

Welcome to Hide and Seaking! In this mod, submitters will secretly add changes to a National Dex OU metagame, then will try to find each other's changes, with the last changes found being added permanently.

Process
Hiding Phase:

- Submitters will be required to sign up for each slate in the thread.
- After signups close, participants will then be able to privately submit changes to moves, abilities, items, and Pokemon themselves (likely through a Google Form). These changes must noticeably benefit at least one Pokemon (at the discretion of the mod leader--you may be asked to justify your change!), or they won't be considered.
- While I'll probably be pretty relaxed on how powerful a change can be, if it's too strong it will be vetoed and you'll be asked to redo the submission, so keep that in mind.
- Once everyone has submitted changes, the Seaking Phase will begin.

Seaking Phase:
- In this phase, every submission will be coded and viewable on the Pet Mods Showdown server, petmodsdh.com (try this link if the former link doesn't work).
- Participants will then search for changes, submitting any they find (again, probably through a Google Form).
- For the sake of game integrity, only participants will be allowed to search for changes each slate. Anyone found cheating or using unfair methods to boost their odds of winning will be barred from participating in future slates.
- The last changes found will be added permanently to the mod, and the process will restart.

For most slates (check each slate's OP for more specific instructions), each submitter will be able to submit one change to a Pokemon, move, ability, or item.

These changes should legitimately impact the OU viability of at least one Pokemon. If that Pokemon was nerfed, it should still be usable in OU post-nerf. If I don't feel a change does enough (or does too much), you will be asked to submit something else.

ALL CHANGES MUST BE VISIBLE IN THE TEAMBUILDER IN SOME CAPACITY, whether through changed values, a new description, or some other means.

Rules for Pokemon submissions:
- You may change one Pokemon.
- You may change any one of: stats, abilities, movepool, typing.
- Only one stat can be changed at once (for example, giving a Pokemon +20 Speed would be fine, but giving it +10 Attack and +10 Speed would not).
- Similarly, only one ability can be changed, only one move can be added/removed, and only one of the Pokemon's types can be changed at one time.
- If you are changing a Pokemon's type, one STAB move of the new type may be added along with the type change.

Rules for Move submissions:
- You may change one move.
- You may change any of the following: type, base power, accuracy, PP, move effect.
- If you want to change a move's distribution, that is a Pokemon submission, not a move submission.
- If you are changing a move's effect, the move's description will need to reflect that change.

Rules for Ability submissions:
- You may change the effect of one ability.
- If you want to change an ability's distribution, that is a Pokemon submission, not an ability submission.
- When you change an ability's effect, that ability's description will need to reflect that change.

Rules for Item submissions:
- You may change the effect of one item.
- You may not change other aspects of the item (such as Fling BP or ability to be knocked off), as they cannot be shown in the builder.
- When you change an item's effect, that item's description will need to reflect that change.

Changes will be made on a first-come, first-served basis, so any overlapping changes will go in favor of the first change submitted, with the other one having to be redone.
