Hello, I would like to warn users of PS that there is a potential virus on the site.
I use Norton Internet Security and I was warned that there was a computer threat:

Type in pokemonshowdown.com and it will tell you the threat.

I've had Norton for ages, and I've been using Pokemon Showdown! for ages as well. I've never had this issue before. It's quite likely that this isn't from Pokemon Showdown!, and it's from something else entirely unrelated.

Edit: Yeah, I just installed it. Basically what Zarel said in this thread applies here.

AVG doesnt shit a brick when i use PS.

norton is junk, it's probably interpreting the newly added ps windows program that hasn't been commonly installed and is therefore "malicious"

(skip the bloatware packaged with the ps program though 9_9)

I just looked it up, Norton says the site has a "drive-by download" which it clearly doesn't. Either Norton's wrong, or someone's hacked PS. I'm asking Norton for a re-review.
