Hey, I'm Gummy! I've written a lot of LC RMTs (this is my 6th), but my last one was 3 years ago, so I want to write up something for this team. I don't have any fancy ladder peaks because I actually suck at mons but this team is pretty brainless and still carries me to wins. I built it as a sort of joke at first but it's more solid than I expected.

Teambuilding Process

Usually in a teambuilding process you go over each individual mon and why you chose it but that's what the actual RMT does so instead I'm gonna explain the general idea behind it.

When you are using this team, you are here to blow shit up and end the game in less than 20 turns. This team is not intended to be able to switch into things. Each mon is intended to be a wincon. If you get the momentum early sometimes things just snowball into a win. This is pure, complete hyper offense. You may look at this team and go 'gummy theres no rocks and no hazard removal its ass' I said TWENTY TURNS OR LESS, you don't have time for that shit. The best way to play this team is figure out your most useful mons at team preview. Everything else is sac material to get those wincons in whenever needed.

The Team

Ponyta @ Berry Juice
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 236 Atk / 76 Def / 196 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Flare Blitz
- Wild Charge
- High Horsepower
- Flame Charge

First off, we have a mon that is fast and hits like a truck, a common theme you're gonna be seeing. What I like about pony is that it has good coverage, amazing speed, and hits so goddamn hard. Nothing really likes switching into this thing, and not many ponies run Wild Charge and High Horsepower (opting for willo or morning sun instead), so you can catch your opp off guard. This set is EV'd to have 18 Attack (over the standard 16), which is really nice to have. Notably, you score the 100% chance to 2HKO Mareanie with High Horsepower, and get a 70% chance to OHKO bj vulla after rocks. Pony generally acts as a cleaner and can be genuinely threatening if it gets a Flame Charge off.

abra.gif

Abra @ Life Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 36 Atk / 236 SpA / 196 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Fire Punch
- Submission

This set is kind of ass, but the idea of it is to kill something and then get out. Abra does not typically run both Fire Punch and Submission. Ferroseed and Pawniard are probably the two most common Abra checks in the tier. In a team like this, getting a surprise kill on those guys is REALLY helpful. This team has no hazard removal and those mons like to set rocks. Also Ferro clicks twave which kinda fucks this team as well. So a surprise lure for them is nice to have. Other than that, LO Abra's Psychic still hits like an absolute truck. If you want slightly more defensive utility, though, the sash set can be a last-ditch emergency button.

vullaby.gif

Vullaby (F) @ Eviolite
Ability: Weak Armor
EVs: 76 Def / 236 SpA / 196 Spe
Modest Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Air Slash
- Heat Wave
- Dark Pulse

I fucking hate NP vulla. How have we not banned this thing yet. I swear to GOD it is so broken. You're winning, you're outplaying, and some goon sets up np vull when you have a full health Spritzee or Onix still in the back. You go to it. They double flinch with dpulse or air slash and you autolose. It's so goddamn annoying. That's why this team uses it. Vull is your only Pokemon that's gonna be taking any hits, so if you see at team preview that the np vull matchup is good, focus everything on getting it set up and winning. Can we fr PLEASE ban this thing though

pawniard.gif

Pawniard @ Eviolite
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 36 SpD / 196 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Swords Dance

I really like this Pawn set. It's 19 Atk, which isn't standard, but really should be because the extra attack is HUGE. Pawn is a mon that checks a lot of things, so naturally you'll switch it into something like Abra or vulla and they'll go to foo or ferro, and get blown back by a STAB move coming off 19 atk. Seriously. If you get SD set up it goes nutty. Other than that Pawn is also one of your other mons that can take a hit, so use it carefully.

magnemite.gif

Magnemite @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Analytic
EVs: 36 Def / 236 SpA / 236 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Volt Switch
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Steel Beam

Picture you are eating dinner at a nice restaurant. Under the table you have your phone out and are playing a game of LC. Suddenly a meteor hits your table and fucking kills you. That's what it feels like to get hit by an Analytic Steel Beam. Sometimes I can't believe this shit is allowed. Mienfoo just dies. Vulla just dies. Ok that's a lie bulky variants can live. But if you ever feel even a little unsafe or worried about an opposing pokemon being too bulky to handle just click the Steel Beam button and blast it to oblivion. Protip: If you're against a team with a Diglett, don't worry about predicting the switch. Just click volt switch with 0 fear. Trust me nobody has the balls to go hard dig.

mienfoo.gif

Mienfoo @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Reckless
EVs: 236 Atk / 36 Def / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- High Jump Kick
- Knock Off
- U-turn
- Close Combat

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the broken. Reckless Scarf HJK is so mean. I think like 5 mons in the tier switch in. If you've managed to soften up the team a bit with the other team members, scarf foo just absolutely cleans most teams. You also kind of have a voltturn thing going on with mag. Synergy. Other than that I don't think Mienfoo needs any introduction. Everyone knows how this set works: you switch in, click the red-orange button in your first slot, close your eyes and pray to god, and if it misses you type "of fucking course" in the chat.

Replays
note i am dogass at mons so some of these replays may contain questionable gameplay. you have been warned.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8lc-1209925006 - me vs Serene for ssnl. You can see a lot of gameplay with this team boils down to keeping the momentum up and using U-turn and Volt Switch liberally. btw I was Sturdy mag in this game but I don't think it changed anything
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8lc-1192501432-a5lkukzf3zt0air6lcy4ifgaebsqpudpw - me vs fitzy for majors pools. see what I mean? 20 turns or less. You can see pony clean here in the endgame.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen8lc-1213971689 - me vs levi just on ladder. 20 turns or less bop. Again, Pony cleans during the endgame after everything's been weakened/killed.

Variants

If the team seems cool to you but is a little TOO hyper offense for your liking, I've provided another team below that's the same idea but bulked up a little bit. The changes are:
- Mag ability changed to Sturdy
- Foo changed to fastfoo evio set
- Abra is changed to sash tect set
Also if you want you can add rocks/removal by switching out SD on pawn for rocks and making vulla the standard pivot set but at that point it's barely HO anymore

Conclusion

I find this team really fun to play. I tried getting reqs during the Rufflet retest and won about 30 games with it and they all went by really quick. If you want to ladder for the suspect right now I'd try it but I'm pretty sure this team gets absolutely bodied by webs so hopefully it gets banned. Thanks for reading, drop a like if u liked it :blobnom:
