SS OU Haxorus and Melmetal team 2.0

Haxorus @ Protective Pads
Ability: Mold Breaker
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Scale Shot
- Close Combat
- Poison Jab
I decided to go with hax over chomp because of its higher power and mood breaker, which keeps unaware clef from getting a free switch in. I'm using cc to beat corv, and contemplating between sd scale shot and ddance and outrage for dragon stab. I'm using protective pads because I'be seen a lot of rocky helmet mons recently.

Landorus-Therian @ Normal Gem
Ability: Intimidate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Explosion
- Stealth Rock
- Smack Down
Lando is my suicide lead here, so stealth rock is a must. Eq for stab and explosion + normal gem makes for devastating power and a free switch in. Smack down is currently in testing but may be useful as it prevents corv and skarm from freely defogging and destroys volcaronas looking for free setup. The reason I'm not using sd is because I almost never used it, resulting in it just taking up a move slot most games.

Hawlucha @ Psychic Seed
Ability: Unburden
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Acrobatics
- Close Combat
- Taunt
Lucha makes for great speed control when psychic terrain is up and is a great stall breaker with taunt and swords dance. Acrobatics and cc are used for powerful stab. The EV spread is used to maximize attack, have breakneck speed after the psychic seed is used, and survive some decently powerful attacks.

Tapu Lele @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Psychic Surge
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Psyshock
- Thunderbolt
- Focus Blast
With scarf, lele is able to reliably check out and other faster mons, making for great speed control. Moonblast and psyshock for stab, focus blast to hit steels, and tbolt to hit corv. Psyshock is used over psychic as it hits special walls harder and is boosted by Lee's own terrain.

Latios (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Aura Sphere
- Psychic
- Trick
If I'm being honest, I'm still not sure how much I like latios' place on the team. With specs and trick it can cripple a stall mon on the enemy team and still play games with them by taking hdb or leftovers from mons that may rely on them. Psychic and meteor for stabs as latios floats above lele's terrain. Aura sphere is here to chunk steels.

Melmetal @ Assault Vest
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 104 SpD / 112 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Double Iron Bash
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Earthquake
Melmetal is here to deal with the fairies of tier effectively with double iron bash. Eq hits opposing steels and electrics, ice punch hits lando, and tpunch hits water types, though may be switched out for super power. Assault vest is used to let melm take at least one of the plethora of special attacks in the tier and retaliate with massive power. The ev spread also helps accomplish this while still maxing out its attack.
