Elekid’s strong Thunder and great coverage make it an excellent choice for GSC PU teams. Hidden Power Ground can hit Flaaffy, Magcargo, and opposing Elekid. Ice Punch smacks Bayleef, Cubone, Rhyhorn, and Sunflora. Thief lets Elekid remove Leftovers from walls such as Drowzee, Sunflora, Flaaffy, and Hitmontop. Pursuit is an alternative that traps Gastly. Elekid appreciates Grass-types like Tangela, Bayleef, and Sunflora handling Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn. Elekid appreciates Spikes support from Delibird chipping down roadblocks like Drowzee and Sunflora while Elekid can strike down the Spikes-immune Noctowl. Pursuit variants trapping Gastly also let Curse Noctowl, Swords Dance Seaking, Curse Clefairy, and Machoke more easily break through teams.

Ice Punch does very little damage to Noctowl Thief lets it remove Leftovers from walls such as Drowzee, (AC) Flaaffy, Sunflora, and Hitmontop. Pursuit is an alternative that lets Elekid trap Gastly. Elekid appreciates Grass-types like Tangela, Bayleef, and Sunflora handling Ground-types such as Cubone and Rhyhorn. Elekid appreciates Spikes support from Delibird as it lets it chip down Thief targets roadblocks like Drowzee and Sunflora further while Elekid can strike down the Spikes-immune Noctowl. Pursuit variants trapping Gastly also let Curse Noctowl, Swords Dance Seaking, Curse Clefairy, and Machoke to more easily break through teams.

Elekid appreciates Spikes support from Delibird as it lets it chip chipping down roadblocks (I've rephrased this because it sounds like Elekid is enabled by Spikes support to chip down its roadblocks rather than the Spikes doing the chipping. If this isn't accurate feel free to revert it) like Drowzee and Sunflora, (AC) further while Elekid can strike down the Spikes-immune Noctowl. Pursuit variants trapping Gastly also let Curse Noctowl, Swords Dance Seaking, Curse Clefairy, and Machoke to more easily break through teams.
