1. Introduction
Hey guys, this is my second RMT! Thank you for the love shown for my first one, and to thank everyone i bring you a better team that has a higher peak with higher success and an even more HEAT set on one of the pokemon than before, Originally, i built this team for OST Round 5 VS Pohjis and to test, i ladder with it during dead hours to avoid getting scouted and i eventually peaked at 2003 in 3 days! while i lost the set vs him, i did take one game off, and that game is with this team! so i decided to share it with you all! so lets get right into the team!

3. The Team

Grudge Alolan Ninetales Bulky HO
So the general idea behind this team is that Aurora Veil can help the set up sweepers set up and sweep from there, but to make it even tougher for the opponent to break through, i have 3 bulky pokemon on the team. Weavile and Kart can break though the meta behind veil, even buzzwole and pex cant threaten it that well, Bulkarona and fini is here to be able to set up forever on special attackers behind veil and heal up, the 2 cant be revenge killed by anything and lando T is a defog support to help ninetales set up veil again.

Ninetales gives you aurora veil so that weavile can set up SD on a lot more mons safely and sweep from that point on. thats the idea i got when making this team. weavile is one of the most threatening sweeper in OU right now so i wanted to try and abuse that.

Kartana was originally scarf to have immediate speed support on the team to be able to more consistently check things like blace, pult, weave, lele other kart, koko etc. but since Lando had never been more popular having 90% usage stats in SPL XIII Week 4 and 50% usage in ladder, i decided to cut my losses and focus on that lando MU by using SD Adrenaline making it even harder to counter and kart can still work well with SD and not scarf.

Since im running adrenaline orb kartana, i need to have extra security to the the threats mentioned, so CM Fini is a good enough wall that takes absolutely nothing behind screens and can set up further with CM Making it a real threat that can sweep and the opponent NEED to respond to.

So looking at the team, Koko, Zera and Eleki eats this team alive, so im going to have defog support lando with toxic to be able to sponge hits, pivot, remove hazards to support ninetales, and spread status to get further chip alongside hail. I had Nidoking and Garchomp on this slot before, but garchomp dies to the ever increasingly popular specs and taunt/toxic koko and gets chipped by spikes, while nidoking cant tank hits that well and can lose to a well played zera in the long run which since its OST, every zera is going to be well played, so thats why i went with lando.

looking at the 5 mons i have, i realized that this is a pretty bulky team for HO... so i doubled down on it with Bulkarona as my last, without Bug Buzz the sand MU with Ttar/exca/zolt/zapdos or torn does get a bit dicey, but i can still play around it with some skillfull doubles, and bulkarona can tank A LOT and can be an emergency check to lele, fini, kart, weavile, melm and more.
SO those were my reasons for picking those mons.... now lets meet them one by one, shall we?

Ability: Snow Warning
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Aurora Veil
- Freeze-Dry
- Encore
- Grudge
Now i know all of you are looking at that last move and saying "Why not hail, Why not hypnosis" well since this team is weak to Bisharp, Melmetal, Tapu Lele, Kartana if they have all of their stab, removing one of them with Grudge makes setting up and sweeping much easier, For example: Removing Double Iron Bash from melm makes Fini wall it, Removing Moonblast from lele makes weavile wall it etc. Encore is here to disrupt set up sweepers (i have been 6-0d 4 times by CM Fini before i had encore while testing) and freezy dry is just a good stab. Shoutouts to Dr. Elite who originally made this set on his Mono Fairy team.

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Triple Axel
- Knock Off
- Ice Shard
(istg if this gets banned as i am writing this before the OU survey) Weavile is one of the scariest physical set-up sweepers in the tier, and with the help of aurora veil, grudge and misty terrain it really does have a damn easy time of just set-up and sweeping, now rocky helmet corvi, buzzwole and pex eats up weavile by chipping it down to size, but with Protective Pads it can avoid those damage caused by helmet, tho this does cost you the longevity boots give so its a risky choice.

Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Leaf Blade

SD Kart is another great breaker in OU, while it doesnt have the speed, stabs and movepool that let weavile sweep from that point, kart is a pretty good mon to dent and make the opponent make uncomfortable switches which you can take advantage of with your other mons by doubling. Adrenaline orb here is to cteam the ever present lando and just annoy them. Aerial Ace can be used over sacred sword to nail buzzwole as this team can have a hard time vs band or just offensive buzzwole as only volcarona can ohko it.

Fini is here as both a set-up sweeper and a pivot-wall to be able to sponge strong hits and scout out the opponent. Behind veil, it can tank A LOT of hits like being able to set-up on koko with calm mind and heal back with Draining Kiss, and guaranteed surviving 2 leaf blade from kartana from full. Lando is here to give defog support to make alolan ninetales (and weavile if you are using pads) able to set up more efficiently and also to pivot safely into attacks from things that would otherwise oneshot any other mons here that fini cant handle and also to spread paralysis. this team is quite weak to eleki, heatran and other physical sweepers so this helps it get a better chance to beat them. i stole this EVs from BIHI's Creative HO team but all i changed was 30 speed IVs which is for lando but i still want to beat hydreigon after i get tricked a scarf (scarf victini and hydreigon is suprisingly common) and crawdaunt while having a slower pivot vs min speed lando.

Other Options

Deathstroke (Kartana) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Leaf Blade
- Knock Off
- Sacred Sword
- Smart Strike
an immediate speed control can be nice and preferable to some over a semi MU Fishy set up sweeper, so do use this if you like

Volcarona @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Flamethrower
- Bug Buzz
- Psychic
TTar + zapdos + buzzwole sand is a very very hard matchup to win, but fully offensive volcarona destroys those teams, so if you find yourself needing a sand team to counter team, well heres your guy

To be completely Honest, this team does not have many weakness if any, the weaknesses can be played around rather easily, so here are some minor anoyyance that i find while testing.

I have 2 of my sweepers walled by Buzzwole and it does so much damage that not even fini cant switchin forever, the combination of its hard hitting-ness and tanky-ness is tough for this team.

Zapdos is difficult to switch into and static is reaaally nasty

Scarfers after veil is gone can be a hassle to beat, so just make sure veil is up all the time and have defensive answers to the scarfers (example: Volcarona for scarftana)

specs koko hits hard, so while playing, a good specs koko player that can read and pivot around can make playing around it difficult
+
OR
the combination of ttar and one of those mons is a nightmare to face, you need to play your weavile and volcarona semi perfectly so that kartana has a chance to clean in the end while having fini barely come out so lando can land toxics on buzzwole/ttar. either that or get up veil and immediately calm mind as much as you can with fini to get an early game cheese

7. How To Use
2. If you have veil up, look at your opponents team, and look at yours. decide which one of the four set up sweeper has the highest chance to sweep the opponent 6-0, which can break down your opponent by forcing switches or picking of walls and threats, and which pokemon is the least useful or have nothing to get in on.
3. Now that you have assessed the match-up, unless you have a GENUINE 6-0 matchup (see replay 5) make sure to get in the thing that forces switch or something that can break to help the pokemon that can sweep, sweep easier. Example of this is getting in kart to force in a switch from lando, buzzwole and corv so that weavile can sweep the rest of the team which contains specs lele, scarf kartana etc that kartana cant quite sweep.
4. If they do some switches, use this moment to either defog their hazard if they have set up or use this moment to set up or double into a favorable match up
5. Dont be afraid to sacrifice your mons, you have 4 pokemon that can sweep, one that gives you double the defenses and wants to die with grudge anyways and a mon that has the ability to softcheck anything and pivot. If you can sac your mon and give you a better switch in or set up, dont be afraid to do so, a losing play is NOT a lost game.

9. SHOUTOUTS
Thank you to Storm Zone mainly because he basically helps coach me through team building on what is good, what is bad what i should remove and one of the only person i play frequently on ladder which indirectly helps me test the team.
Dr. Elite was the person who first made the Grudge Ninetales Alola set on his mono fairy no tapu team which he got to top 10 on OU ladder which i took and put it in a set up heavy HO Team
NOW while all that is done, i hope you all had an enjoyable read and enjoy using my team later in the future, i also would love to hear criticism on the team, what would you change, or even miscellaneous questions about the team, i will definetly be making more of these since they are extremely fun to do, but other than that, see you all later
Have a Good one
