Welcome to my team goon intentions. This is a bulky offensive team thats built for our newest galar evolution of a regional variant taking much inspiration from kiss and being the signature pokemon of former dark leader of spikemouth pears and part of a pokemon band including rillaboom and the two forms of toxiticity. So without further adue the team!
Obstagoon (F) @
Ability: Guts
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Obstagoon is argubly now the best abuser of guts in overused anyways, this is mainly due to the utlity of his typing and stat distrobution favouring the current metameta more than the like of heracross and conkledur who are outclassed in ways by other pokemon while obstagoon less so. Anyways obstagoon has a very key factor going for it in offensive teams that helps aleviate their time against one pokemon in particular- specterier. Obstagoon is a hard hard wall to specterier, it's stab can't hit it and it's coverage is either laughably weak in the form of mud shot or flat or ressisted in the form of dark pulse, to make matters worse for specterier obstagoon nails the coffin in the walling department by being able to abuse the other key move specterier uses to make up for it's lackluster coverage -wil-o-wisp to which obstagoon either loves comming into for a free burn or it's burned already which is win win win scenario for him and the team that ye don't aprechiate the burn as much as our rock star buddy. Anyways for obstagoon we are not going for the bulk up set, instead we are going for the switcharoo set, the advanatage of this set is the ability obstagoon provides to allow obstagoon to cripple threats for the rest of the team to set up and funnily enough one of them is specterier who isn't the biggest fan of threats like tyranitar and our bipedial badger is only too happy to help provide a crippling blow them from it's coverage or it's items burn. On it's own the badgers lack luster 90 base attack but guts boosts that attack by 50% while no burn reductions in attack with guts and only for the cost of 6% health per turn. The nature of adamant is chosen to give more raw power to goon as base 95 speed while not bad puts it behind alot of pokemon in the metagame but the rest of the team are able to make up for it's inability to hit faster threats, obstagoon is more able to put the hurt on walls or slower pokemon that are offensive in nature like heatran, to this maximum investment in attack and speed aid to this goal, it puts goon at 289 speed which outpaces the likes of heatran and ties or outpaces other base 90 neutral pokemon like kyurem. The move set is pretty simple - Facade is very powerful normal stab thats 140 under the burn so makes for anture stab coverage choice, knock off is another great stab distruptor move and provide great coverage even if it wasn't stab so winning goon, close combat allows goon some great powerful coverage hitting tyranitar in the nuts to which his stab can't otherwise and finally switcheroo gives goons item away and that item flame orb will inflict the same burn it gave goon to something else.
Landorus-Therian @

Landorus is a pokemon that can be summed up as one of the best glue pokemon in the ou tier. the ultility is provides virtually any archtype of team in pokemon is unquestionable. changing over from a set that origonally focused on a bulky pivot we are intead going for a set that focuses on speed control while sstill providing solid defensive ultimility, that set being choice scarf. With a jolly nature the current eves landorous hits 469 outpacing many neutral base 100 pokemon and many very fast packed pokemon ingeneral without a scarf with a little ev investment in defence to stave off hits as it switches in and maximum attack to deal as much damage as possible. The moveset is pretty standard - Quake edge combination provides the team with great coverage in it's powerful stab and stone edge, U-turn allow sit to pivot out of threats it especially cripples with intimidate switching in and defog finally gives some hazard control for the team.

The best pokemon in the tier hands down, no ifs buts or maybes? It's the best thanks to a fantastic typing, move pool stat distrobution and ability even. They say orange is the new black well gen 6 gave us stell/fairy is the new steel/psychic in it's raw prowness in defensive and ofensive capibilities even with the nerf to steel/psychic this typing is still better thanks to a similar coverage offensively and defensively but then some. So for the team we are using a classic offensive set that provides both offensive and defensive ultity shift gear calm mind. With 252 SpA 4 SpD 252 Spe and a timid nature magearna is able to set up and outpace many threats and bost with calm mind to it's hearts content with timid nature and max speed to make up for it's lack luster speed and outpace a significant chunk of the meta boosted. The mvoe set is as follows- shift gear makes up for it's lack luster speed and helps boost the power of stored power making a scary threat after calm minds and shift gear boosts, calm mind boosts it's special attack and special defence making it a really bulky power house that steam rolls when it's able to net some kos after a bost, stored power takes advantage of multiple boosts of especially shift gear to be especially powerful, and aura sphere is solid strong fighting coverage to round things out.
Zapdos-Galar @
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature

Zapdos gained a new form in galar and now we have a new grounded version of zapdos that is the yin to kanto forms yang, unlike kantoian zapdos this zapdos is physicaly orintated and a fighting type not electric. Fighting/flying is insanely good coverage and zapdos has acess to very very powerful stabs to back this up and unlike many physical pokemon that hate lando-t, zapdos laughs at it thanks to it's ability defiant that boosts it's attack by 2 stages making the likes of lando-t and defoggers a chance for zapdos to come in and land some serious hurts bombs even if that means it switch out on the U-turn it's still going to hurt from 125 base 2.5X boosted attack. Jolly nature was chosen to give zapdos the chance to outpace or tie up to other base 100 pokemon, it's stabs are so strong boosted by choice band that the speed + nature offers more advanateg of attacking first and koing some threats with the invesment in attack and speed at full to back this up. The move choice is set in stone for the first three moves - close combat is powerful stab and it's down side isn't a big deal, zapdos is a choice band nuke and it's not going to stay in locked into an unfavourable matchup, brave bird is powerful flying stab that sadly has recoil but it's a small price to pay for the nuclear damage it does, u-turn is great on a pokemon locked into 1 move to get away from an unfavourable match up but lets be honest it's greta periopd and zapdos is going to be taking the mickey out of defoggers and lando with it forced to switch and zapdos chipping the counter with a bosted u-turn, The last move is very flexiable for example you cna opt for zapdoses signature thunderous kick, which is base 90 and has 100% chance of lowering defence, blaze kick, stomping tantrump ect. it doesn't hold too much significance due to either being covered by zapodes satb or zapdoses stab being so good it's enough anyways but with stomping tantrump we have a way of hitting the likes of slowking galar and tapu koko that ressist 1 or both stab for super efefctive damage so it's there as a back up for such situations.
Swampert @

Swampert gained something this generation that totally slipped it on it's head, that is flip turn and with it swampert has oncew more returned to glory as fantastic tanky pokemon thanks to acess to a move it not only gets stab in but allows it to keep up the momentum by pivoting out. The eves and nature allow swampert maximimum spedcial bulk to tank hits on this side with 0 ivs and a sassy nature to make sure it's flip turns are going second for it's team so it bares the brunt of attacks witht eh ability damp being better simply to deal with exploding regileki and lando's. The move choice is pretty standard, stealth rock to wear down threats and it's great typing and bulkyness gives it plenty of chances to set up, flip turn to switch out of unfavourable match ups, earthquake as powerful stab and toxic to cripple threats.
Cinderace @
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

The newest fire starter is turning the metagame on it's head a twisted limbero fire starter. with great attack and speed and an ability that change it's type so every move is a stab move the rabbit is certainly capiable of posing a significant ofensive threat, add to this the generation also came with hevay duty boots so it has no worries about a 25% chip off stealth rock or any other hazards comming it's way. It's a solid cleaner for the team and has max speed with a speed boosting nature to allow it to breeze past slower sweepers and walls with ease with max attack for damage output. The move chocie is simple enough but there is much room for wiggle with cinderace as it's movepool is fantastic tbh it just is -High jump kick is powerful stab fighting coverage , pyro ball is fantastic signature move thats very accurate very powerful and it's might burn, what is not to love?, U-turn allows cinderace to pivot outand Gunk shot kills off fairies like clefable with impunity thanks to it's power and stab cinderace gains from it.
