God of High School is another manhwa that I think deserves a bit of attention. It's a korean manhwa (for other people it's a colored manga) and it's probably a mixture of Persona meets The Breaker.

It's about a fight that happens between the strongest people in high school and when they win their one wishes is fulfilled. Not saying it's a hard read but it's mostly martial arts and a little bit of DBZ reference from the writer, but overall it's a good and interesting read that I suggest you check out.

Hopefully this one gets some attention! It's over 100+ chapters thus far.

So it's basically Law of Ueki/Histoy's Strongest Disciple stock plot about shonuen schoolers hulking it out. Interesting, may check it out after I'm done with my current backlog. Not a huge fan of the general mahnwa art style, but I really liked Priest.

I've followed this for a while now, and I will say it's a LOT of fighting. The current arc is a bit over the top; everyone is like super powerful (and VERY loosely based off Journey to the West). Nevertheless it's fairly entertaining and not quite what you would expect from the title.

Yeah this arc is a bit silly but we aren't even seeing Jin fight :(

But as V0x said it's just fights. That's what you're going to mostly expect with this.

I tried reading it, and I enjoyed the very first arc. Then things just broke loose and regular logic was tossed aside. Unfortunately I just couldn't bear with the fact that every chapter/release/whatever did little to explain what was going on. Characters would be introduced and no reasoning would be explained for their existence or who they really were. The only thing that made it slightly enjoyable was the action, which it is chalk-full of. I dropped this one around a month or two ago...

Oh and the name is very VERY misleading. High School is NOT even really touched upon in this series.

Easily one of the hardest things to follow, ever. Really great personalities, super cute art, absolutely overbearingly ridiculous fights.

Comparing GoH to Breaker is insulting to GoH. Just because two works have fights does not make them one bit like the other. You must think that Toy Story is like the movie Spawn meets Eastbound and Down, after all both Toy Story & Spawn have a lot of lime green, and both Toy Story and Eastbound and Down have trucks.

ANYWAY I don't really mind that Gang is still a weakling compared to everyone with Charyoke, though he'll obviously get a huge power boost when he can learn to borrow strength. I'm also confused because I thought Gwum's Charyoke was Jack the Ripper, not this Rock thing. though maybe that's just what the move's name is called.

I really just want them to get Jin out so they can go find Park and his team. Though mostly because I want to see Jin fight purple hair lady.
