Giratina excels in it's defenses as well as hp, its attack stats are good too, so it is capable of being a good special as well as physical sweeper.

Movesets:

-Dragon Pulse

My standard special CM sweep set, Giratina has massive hp and defenses, so its able to take hits while calm minding up. Maybe someday people will use this ^_^.

This is the Physical Version, sweeps just the same but lacking stat boosters.

So now that we all love Giratina, let's discuss him and his movesets.
 
You don't have to list every move, just the noteworthy ones. Also Zero7, it's not banned yet, metagame will set, most likely for ubers

That being said, the only physical ones to consider are

Dragon Claw
Shadow Claw
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Return

This thing is so powerful. It's bulky enough and can take on stuff like Lugia and Ho-oh. Lati@s also have trouble switching into it, and Kyogre can't safely switch in without fear of possibly taking a Thunderbolt

IMO, the best way to counter this is CBGroudon, with some Speed EVs. Easily threatens with a Shadow Claw, and there isn't much that Giratina will be carrying for it except Energy Ball, which is a considerable waste of moveslot
 
Thank for the help LocoUser, but I listed them all because "good" is all about perspective.
Also: I meant that its banned from Battle tower
