What's with the fog? At least we have Giratina-O! Being a strong attacker and an entry hazard remover thanks to Defog, Giratina-O is a great pick for any Ubers team. Poltergeist is its main attack, 2HKOing Pokemon like Kyogre and Necrozma-DM. Dragon Tail phazes Pokemon that try to stay in or set up, like Ting-Lu and Arceus. Will-O-Wisp is the preferred status move to cancel out Leftovers recovery, punish a Ting-Lu switch in, and weaken Pokemon like Arceus-Ground, Necrozma-DM, and Extreme Killer Arceus, but Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Ho-Oh and Arceus-Fairy. 112 Defense EVs allow Giratina-O to live a +2 Tera Ghost Arceus Shadow Claw, while 44 Speed EVs help it outspeed Gliscor. Tera Steel can flip matchups against Pokemon like Scale Shot Koraidon, Toxic Gliscor, and Zacian-C. Tera Ghost is a great option as well, as boosting Poltergeist is huge, mainly for 2HKOing Ho-Oh and even OHKOing Calyrex-I and offensive Necrozma-DM. Necrozma-DM is an amazing partner, as it can check Pokemon like Zacian-C and Arceus-Fairy for Giratina-O to use Defog safely. Miraidon is another great teammate, since it can overwhelm Ting-Lu, Clodsire, and Gliscor quite well, allowing for better entry hazard control.

Will-O-Wisp is the preferred status move, used to cancel out Leftovers recovery and lower damage dealt by Pokemon like Arceus-Ground NDM and Extreme Killer Arceus as well and add that its the strongest way to punish Ting-Lu, but Thunder Wave can be used to cripple Ho-Oh. Due to this, most Thunder Wave variants also run Stone Edge to OHKO it not true, stone edge is a niche option that can be used to kill ho oh, usually defog is the reason to run this mon outside of an ndm weakness. 112 Defense EVs allows Giratina to live a +2 Tera Ghost Arceus Shadow Claw, while 44 Speed EVs help it outspeed Gliscor. Tera Steel is an amazing typing, that can flip matchups like Scale Shot Koraidon and Toxic Gliscor add zacian + ndm + fairyceus if possible, but zacian is the most important one out of these 3. Tera Ghost is a great option as well, as boosting up Poltergeist is huge, mainly for 2HKOing Ho-Oh and even picking up an OHKO on Calyrex-I and offensive Necrozma-DM. Necrozma-DM is an amazing partner, as it can take advantage of Giratina-O taking care of Arceus-Ground and Kyogre for it to setup and take the game. weird phrasing but i would focus on ndm checking zacian + fairyceus for gira instead, especially since gira is not a consistent check to cm groundceus or kyogre. Miraidon is another great partner, since it can pressure Ting-Lu, Clodsire and Gliscor quite well, and allow for better entry hazard control.
