Gimmicks ft. Slaking & Special Flygon

Okay so! 2 quick things.
1. Apparently King's Rock + Skill Link is frowned upon but shhhhhhhhh
2. I just replaced Swoobat with Sigilyph recently. Swoobat had the same EVs, item, and nature, but had Klutz, and Trick instead of Psycho Shift. Idk if this was a good decision because Swoobat has higher speed & is generally more unexpected, since nobody uses it and even when they do, it usually runs a Simple + Calm Mind set. Sigilyph can take hits much better, and is immune to status and stealth rocks, but is really predictable and generic. Can someone weigh in?

Capuccino (Cinccino) @ King's Rock
Ability: Skill Link
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Blast
- Tail Slap
- Knock Off

Pretty typical sweeping set, not much to say. Kinda walled by Steel types, but I have Steelix to deal with other Mega Steelixes, then Flygon & Sigilyph for Registeel. Slaking's Hammer Arm can deal with those too in a pinch. As for the King's Rock, I'm so ridiculously unlucky that I've gotten maybe 1 flinch ever in a week using this team, which is my weak excuse for this sad sad gimmick.

sigilyph.gif

Fork Arms (Sigilyph) @ Flame Orb
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Psycho Shift
- Roost
- Psyshock
- Protect

Yeah so see above. I'm still not sure how I feel about this yet. It looks like it has an Unown stuck on its head. Swoobat at least had that cute heart nose. The 4x resistance to fighing helps 3 whole teammates that are weak to fighting, but Swoobat has the same typing, and Aromatisse also resists fighting if this faints. Slaking and Steelix both take hits well too, so it's not THAT big of a deal.

steelix-mega.gif

Big Snake (Steelix-Mega) @ Steelixite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Gyro Ball
- Earthquake
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Defensive wall with Special Defensive investment to better take hits from both sides. No Physical Defense EVs because of natural bulk and RestTalk for recovery. Neg speed nature & 0 speed IVs to power up Gyro Ball (because lbr this thing was never going to outspeed anything else anyways). It is a good switch in for Fake Out leads, and also has a decent attack stat so it can dish out fairly heavy damage in return. It's also immune to Poison & resists Steel, which helps out Aromatisse. Its advantage against Fairy helps Flygon too.

Kimblee (Flygon) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Boomburst
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Flamethrower

2 STABs, Boomburst and Flamethrower for coverage. I personally don't like being weighed down by Choice items, so Assault Vest is the next most useful thing. The Assault Vest lets it live a (non-crit) HP Ice from Jolteon, but also helps against Delphox so I can fire off an Earth Power in return. However, I am considering replacing Boomburst with Roost and the Assault Vest with a Life Orb, please weigh in!!

aromatisse.gif

Plague Doctor (Aromatisse) @ Leftovers
Ability: Aroma Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Protect
- Moonblast

Special Defensive wall + Aromatherapy support. It walls Clawitzer pretty well (otherwise my whole team would be weak to it). Wish + Protect for recovery because I love my recovery, and Aroma Veil to protect itself and team members (esp. Steelix & Sigilyph) against the otherwise crippling Taunt. Pretty generic support, but has a sassy hip sway to set it apart.

slaking.gif

Rekt (Slaking) @ Choice Band
Ability: Truant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Retaliate
- Giga Impact
- Hammer Arm
- Night Slash

The star of the team!!! Seriously, Slaking WRECKS SHIT. It's fast, can take hits, and hits extremely hard. If it had an actually useful ability it'd be in Ubers. Choice Band STAB Retaliate pretty much demolishes anything that doesn't resist it. Tangrowth, Togekiss, Amoongus, and Gastrodon? OHKOed. Giga Impact is for if I have to keep him in for more than 2 turns, because it works well with Truant and doesnt require a teammate fainting to get a boost. Night Slash to deal with Ghost types, and Hammer Arm to deal with Steel and Rock types. It's completely walled by anything with Protect or Detect, but is usually very reliable. I normally don't like Choice Items, but with Slaking I usually switch out the second turn it's out because of Truant anyways, so it doesn't hinder him too much.
