Neutralizing Gas allows Galarian Weezing to weaken threats such as Azumarill and Scizor and take them on with Will-O-Wisp, set Toxic Spikes against Magic Bounce users, and stop weather setters such as Hippowdon from setting weather. Its low HP stat makes Pain Split a form of semi-reliable recovery.
