Slate 5: where we droppin​

It's been 5 slates since our first drop slate, so it's time for another! Like last time, we will give several options for which OU fusions to drop down to UU. Discuss in-thread or on Discord which fusions would be desirable in the metagame for a couple days, then vote in-thread to Approve or Disapprove of a drop.

However, we will also be taking suggestions on adjusting fusions as they drop. We won't be slating them specific changes, but if a majority votes Nerf with Adjustment for a specific fusion, we'll be looking out on the general consensus on what a good drop is.

I have very little knowledge of the competitive scene of FE UU at the moment, and I will definitely be looking at a number of the other Pokemon in the tier as I edit my impressions later. Here are just my first impressions after looking at the stats, abilities, typing, and movepools of these Pokemon:

This is so your screen isn't filled with a wall of text

- Contrary is already scary enough, thanks to Spin Out/Superpower/Leaf Storm/Overheat, but also having Filter and an added weaker Tinted Lens means that a vest set could run something like Leech Life and still hit hard while benefiting from the recovery. No idea if it would be more manageable without that "resisted attacks do 4/3 damage", but I could easily see this Pokemon snowballing thanks to +2 Speed from Spin Out, a 100 BP STAB move.

- This looks solid. Poison/Dark is a solid typing, and the ability is useful. Solid Attack and Speed that do not seem unmanageable.

- An interesting and possibly balanced mega. While this is just a stronger and bulkier Mega Altaria (with an expanded movepool) it does mean that it would have a different role from its NGas base form, and it would be cool to see both be viable in the same tier.

- E-Terrain setter and abuser. A bit scary on paper, but its low Speed and Psychic typing means it is probably manageable. Having a reliable Electric terrain setter will likely be useful if a certain Spore setter further down makes it through.

- Just keep the mega away from me and I won't start panicking. Valiant is normally scary because of its Speed, so this fusion not being super crazy fast means it could be manageable despite that high Attack.

- While not nearly as oppressive as classic Marshadow, this is still a Ghost-type with Spectral Thief. While its two abilities do not synergize well with the combined movepools of the two Pokemon (it does not appear Marshadow has a good recoil move, nor does Relicanth have any good moves boosted by Technician) it is still fast and strong enough that its ability to steal boosts from its opponent could make it a dangerous snowballing sweeper. [Edit: and the one Pokemon in the tier with Unaware would likely be shredded by Head Smash]

- At first this seemed underwhelming until I remembered Dustox knows Quiver Dance. Poison/Flying is a solid defensive typing and with QDance and a 33% boost on a lot of its moves, this Pokemon is dangerous. Plus it has STAB Oblivion Wing as it gets faster and stronger. I could see this getting out of hand quickly.

- Another Dirge? Really? At least this one doesn't have Unaware. That being said, this seems like it could be a problem if Pins drops, but probably fine if not. A Ground type could always be useful in the tier, especially one that is a spinner.

- Same typing as Sneasel-Prime but much better stats to work with. Could see that Special Attack (+Nasty Plot) and Speed being a bit scary but might be kept in check by its low physical bulk.

- Hustle without the downsides, and replaced with even better upsides. I could see this being a problem, as it probably has enough bulk to switch in on a physical attacker, take minimal damage, and get a free Dragon Dance on the switch. Obviously is scared of Ice moves but we have plenty of Ice resists that can support it. Hard to decide if it would be solid or overwhelming.

- Yet again another Pokemon I think could be too strong if Iron Pins drops. Zapdos already has a great movepool, and getting Nasty Plot from Celebi means this can hit even harder. Being Grass-type at least makes it worse off defensively but this has the tools to be a scary Special sweeper.

- Normal/Ghost is a solid typing, Thick Fat is useful to deal with a few problematic Fire or Ice types in the tier, and it has great Attack and bulk to make good use of its time on the field. People said they wanted this to drop and I can see why.

- Please no. We already have a great Sand setter in the tier, and Bolt Beak + Sand Rush seems like a deadly combo. We don't actually have that many Ground types, and the other Electric resists are mostly Dragon types which would fold to its Dragon coverage. If you aren’t careful the only thing that outspeeds this is Chomptry, and that doesn’t like an incoming Brave Bird.

- Not sure on this one. Electric/Ghost is a surprisingly solid typing, making it only weak to Dark and Ghost thanks to Levitate. It has enough bulk to tank a couple hits, but it is very slow. Is it balanced? Probably. Levitating does mean that it wouldn't benefit from ETerrain if Iron Pins drops which should help keep it in check somewhat.

- Neither Pokemon knows any contact multi-hit moves so this seems perfectly fine. Slow Pokemon with an exploitable defensive typing, but balanced by an interesting ability and good bulk.

- Fire/Dragon is solid, this Pokemon has excellent bulk, especially thanks to Multiscale. Its low Speed is what is keeping it from being overwhelming, though I would love to see how effective this can be if it ever does trigger Steam Engine. Honestly tempted to ask for this to drop just out of curiosity of what it can do.

- Doesn't know Nasty Plot, but does know Sticky Web. This seems more annoying as a bulky Webs setter than as an offensive attacker. Dragon Energy still hits very hard, but it is slow enough that it could probably be kept in check. If I am correct, we do not currently have a Webs setter in the tier, and I do not know if that is a good thing or a bad thing.

- I have no idea what to say about this. While the concept is interesting, there are several fast threats that match or outspeed this. Because of its low bulk, I don't exactly know what it would do. While it could have some rather niche things it could do, such as switching in on a Dragocoal who just triggered Steam Engine, the only thing I see this doing is being an answer to (some of) my complaints about Revarantis.

- This Pokemon is priority-immune, but seems otherwise underwhelming at first glance. Let it drop.

- Very silly ability. No idea how I feel about the Pokemon.

- Aegislash but with 120 Speed. Sure it is not a Ghost anymore but that high Speed is a great way to get a KO at the start of a turn after safely getting off a Swords Dance or Nasty Plot up from behind its Shield. Personally don't think this should drop.

- We have two Pokemon with Mold Breaker Fire-type moves, this should be manageable.

- Spore. Luckily a number of the Pokemon slated to drop have some response to be Spore-proof. Fine to drop as long as it doesn't drop alone.

- Slow but strong. Neither of these Pokemon are insane individually, so I don't see why their combined strength would be overwhelming.

- Fast, strong, and Tough Claws. Probably too strong. At least it doesn't have Swords Dance. Also it is quad-weak to Stealth Rocks so it would at least have that flaw. Might be manageable but I would argue it is borderline.

- While Strong Jaw isn't as strong as Tough Claws, its Ghost/Dark typing allows it to be a veritable threat. And, unlike Aerodirge, this mega could actually set up on you thanks to Swords Dance (or Nasty Plot if you don't care about biting). The only thing maybe keeping it in check is its low bulk, but all of its strengths make it a veritable threat.

Crazy Adjustment Ideas

Adding this thanks to G-Luke's post. Only one or two thoughts at the moment but may come up with more later.
I have no idea what I am doing but no one is probably going to read this anyways

- I notice on the sheet this is the order the Pokemon are listed in, and yet the typing is Dragon/Poison, and not Poison/Dragon. Maybe reversing the typing of the base form (thus making the Mega be Poison/Fairy) could be an interesting way to change the viability of the Mega form.

- 87 / 120 / 123 / 56 / 104 / 50 - Small but simple change, take the points out of that unnecessary Special Attack and a couple points from the defenses and rearrange them to allow the dog to hit harder, while still maintaining effectively the same bulk.

- 144 / 88 / 72 / 125 / 63 / 63
Hellkite -> Dragon's Bane - This Pokemon is immune to Dragon-type moves. Its own have 1.5x power.
Response to G-Luke's comment on this fusion, probably resulting in it being better in OU and that seems perfectly fine.

- 70 / 57 / 55 / 120 / 108 / 116 - Just a minor change to slightly nerf the Special Attack and Speed of this fusion, which might be enough to make it slightly less overbearing in UU. or you could just make it a Ghost type and keep it in OU

- 96 / 101 / 96 / 108 / 72 / 101 - same idea as G-Luke and Geko with a slight difference. 101 speed allows it to share a speed tier with Bomb, while still being threatening in other ways.

- 77 / 116 / 77 / 98 / 84 / 98 - Alternatively, my own take on the Bombird situation. Slow it down just enough that new additions or buffed Pokemon can outspeed it and keep it in check. Plus a minor decrease to its Attack at the same time.

- 72 / 130 / 80 / 98 / 64 / 96 -

Adding an edit during the voting phase because This one came to me as I began voting. Changing the typing and making it just a bit slower could actually make this an interesting Pokemon in the tier, whereas I do believe its current form could easily be overwhelming.

- 104 / 104 / 72 / 108 / 72 / 84
Armor Fist: This Pokemon is immune to punching moves and priority moves. Its own punching moves have 1.2x power and +1 priority.
Possible fix for the Giraffe/Monkey hybrid. People are saying it isn't exactly great, though this change might make it a bit too good.

[Beaf Cultist]

- This mon is absolutely usable in OU, but it's not great, and I do think it could be fine in the current UU meta. However, the buffed version of Unfiltered that it currently has would definitely be too much for UU, so if it does drop that would need to be changed. Nerf with Adjustment

- Love this guy. I've tried to use Zarubok in OU many times but it is just not good there, and UU seems like the perfect power level for it. That being said, its stats might be a bit high for what it provides to the meta, but it has a LOT of stat additions right now so that can be fixed pretty easily if necessary. Also it does basically the same things Bombirdus does so we can nerf that mon now kthx. Approve

- This thing is very sus. Not only are bulky DD sets pretty much impossible to slow down (and unwallable unless you have a Slither King), but even just straight up bulky sets are obscenely fat with tons of defensive utility. I think this is probably too much for the current meta, but maybe we can come back to it in slate 10. Disapprove

- Easy drop. This mon is outsped by every single relevant offensive mon, and Buzzscor in particular is a very viable counterplay option that can fit on most teams. Approve

- Nah. Way too strong compared to existing options, and our defensive tools are not robust enough to be able to handle this thing. Disapprove

- Hot take, this mon is still pretty absurd. We don't have that many offensive mons that outspeed it or defensive mons that can handle it, and while stuff like Brambleshao, Aerodirge, Slither King have fairly positive matchups, I think dropping its speed would make it way more manageable. Also remove the Ice eating part of the abil tbh, Eisephalon and Hydra-Pao don't need more mons that beat them. Nerf with Adjustment
edit - honestly thinking more about this it's just not a very good addition. we'd have to bend over backwards to make it benefit this meta and even then it still might be a bit much. also isn't it still pretty functional in OU? Disapprove

- This thing's current form is pretty busted, but a reversion to its pre-buff state would probably be a fine meta addition. Nerf with Adjustment

- I am no longer a fan of this dropping because it doesn't really add much besides even more competition to Scoliraptor (a mon already on shaky footing). Disapprove

- Beyond broken. This mon is like B rank in OU anyway so there's literally no reason for it to drop. Disapprove

- This mon is grossly overtuned for UU. What council really needs to do is suck it up and make this guy Ice/Ghost so he can cook in OU. Disapprove

- In the same vein as the previous two mons, this is way too much for UU and is also currently quite good in OU. No reason to drop this. Disapprove

- Now this I can get behind. Mon has a lot of really great matchups in the current meta (Bombirdus, Lunarunt, Frosgambit, does fine into Kilommo-o), while also still losing to plenty of common options like Brambleshao and Buzzscor. Approve

- This mon is still not UU material. Just nerf Bouffa-Lu and Weezer and this mon will be like A- in OU again. Disapprove

- This guy is kinda wild still but thankfully its STABs aren't great, and we have a LOT of Fighting resists. Mons like Buzzscor, Aerodirge, Lunarunt, and Celeblim should be able to handle it fine enough. Approve

- This thing is still stupidly fat, but without Toxic it's admittedly pretty passive, and it has too few slots to run both utility and enough offensive moves to be threatening on one set, so it should be fine I guess. Approve

- Between Rhytrix, Tyranix, Lashiram, and even seemingly worse options like Buzzscor, we absolutely have plenty of viable defensive counterplay for this mon in the current meta. I can understand why some people are hesitant to add this, especially with Sand already being pretty good as-is, but I think it will be fine (and even if it's not, creating counterplay isn't hard). Approve

- Fuck this mon. It ain't even bad in OU, it's just such a fucking nuisance that nobody runs it willingly (and also they always run Ultra for the stupid fucking weakness swapping). It would also be super broken here, and would add nothing of value to a meta already full of powerful special Electrics. Disapprove

- Doesn't really add much to the meta, but it's not broken, and another bulky Ground resist is always appreciated. Approve

- I'm still trying to figure out what this mon does, but I've been FIENDING for a bulky spinner recently so I'm absolutely down for adding this. Approve

- Nope. Broken. Disapprove

- Gonna be very strong and will force us to add real Flying resists, but we've needed to do that anyway with the addition of Bombirdus (and a potential Corvizolt drop) so I can get behind it. Approve

- Probably gonna be mid. Approve

- Probably gonna be outright bad. Meta evolution has not been kind to this mon. Approve

- Yeah offensive sets are probably broken, and even if they're not they'll still contribute to the Heatification of UU, which is a net negative. Yall are just gonna have to sit with the fact that you added this shitter to OU tbh. Disapprove

- There will be a day where this is balanced in UU, but today is not that day. Disapprove

- See above, except this will probably never be balanced. Lowkey might even be usable in OU. Disapprove

The Fun Stuff

Now for the real meat of this post - balancing suggestions. I wanna start off with 3 suggestions for OU, because I think a lot of the mons slated are only here due to some stupid centralization in OU thanks to a couple of key brokens. With that being said, let's start things off with


BOUFFA-LU

125 / 110 / 110 / 47 / 87 / 50

Lawnmower of Ruin - Vessel of Ruin effects. This Pokemon takes an additional 0.75x damage from Grass-type attacks, and its Attack is raised one stage when it is targeted by one.



WEEZALUNA-BLOODMOON

89 / 80 / 120 / 110 / 67 / 56

Miracle Gas - While this Pokemon is active, immunities have no effect.

Both of these nerfs have the same goal - undoing the destruction cause by FE subbers hard countering whatever the hot issue mon was at the time (in this case Toedieleki). Bouffa-Lu post-nerf still comfortably beats nearly all Toedi sets, forcing it to hard predict in order to make progress but at the same time giving mons like Celedos and Arbolosion more of a chance to shine with their powerful Grass STABs. Meanwhile, Weezaluna is really hard to nerf, but the route I decided to take was to force it down a more offensive path. No longer will it be an Eleki counter. Instead, it will lean into the sets that have made it broken (CM sets), but in exchange it will lose a lot of the defensive utility that made it so difficult to handle. I'm not nearly as confident in this change as I am in the Bouffa-Lu nerf, so if yall have any other ideas I'd love to hear them.

Additionally, there's one other OU change I wanna propose.


CRYGARGONAL

Rising Tension - Effects of Cursed Body and Levitate.

Free my boy. Ice/Poison is a dogshit typing and this mon will never be viable in OU as long as it's stuck with it, but dropping it to UU isn't the play either since we already have Sneasel-Prime and Ice/Ghost would prob be broken. This is definitely the best solution possible, and if needed you can also drop stats a bit.


As for UU, there's not too much that needs immediate changes. The meta has settled down quite a bit, and honestly the majority of changes I want to see are just buffs to weaker mons. However, one mon bucks that trend.


BOMBIRDUS

Bag of Tricks - Effects of Rocky Payload and Prankster.

This mon is overtuned right now. Flying resists are few and far between, and just Knock Off + Brave Bird + Stone Edge crushes pretty much the entire tier, with even mons like Buzzscor and Slither King unable to stomach Banded hits while Scarf picks off everything faster. A slight Attack nerf helps make Scarf a bit less comfortable to run, and removing Defiant allows Intim mons to at least slow it down, even if it beats most of them (there was literally no reason to make this thing beat defensive Overgyara lol).

As for the buffs, I'm just gonna spitball some ideas for mons I think are pretty awful right now. Not all of these are fully thought out and a lot of these mons probably still aren't gonna be good, but it's at least worth a try.


EISEPHALON

Ultra Face - Upon getting a kill, changes to No Face form.

Fairly small change, but this mon currently has 4 points in Attack that are completely useless, and moving those to Speed allows it to outspeed a TON of relevant mons while also speed tying its greatest counter in Mr. Heat, forcing offensive Heats to fully invest in Speed in order to handle it properly. Also removed the Snow bit from the ability because this mon really doesn't need extra downsides right now lol.


KABUPULT

80 / 125 / 90 / 82 / 74 / 115

No Nonsense - Effects of Battle Armor and Clear Body.

This mon had a lot of points invested in bulk, and while I see the vision, the fact is that this mon isn't made to eat hits well, so moving some of that bulk into Attack should hopefully help it stand out more as an offensive pivot (and maybe finally give SD sets a niche).


GOLEGON-ALOLA

80 / 110 / 105 / 69 / 75 / 87

Magnetize - Effects of Galvanize and Levitate.

This still probably won't be great, but giving it a higher Speed tier makes both DD and Scarf sets much more comfortable to run, and gives other sets very relevant matchups into mons like Mr. Heat and Magnegiri.


HYDRA-PAO

93 / 100 / 95 / 105 / 75 / 102

Apple of Ruin - Pokemon without this ability have 0.75x evasiveness.

The buff this mon needs in order to be usable. Much higher Speed allows it to actually outspeed a good chunk of offensive mons, including resident S tier Bombirdus, giving it much more use cases than it currently has.

And that's all I've got. Looking forward to seeing other folks' takes on potential buffs.

 

[Gekokeso]

For fuck's sake stop bailing out Deciperior out of dropping to UU, that mon is ASS. Sure it probably is outclassed by its own prevo but it ain't doing shit in ou.

- I think its place in OU is rightfully where belongs, and I don't think the meta needs a contrary sweeper at all. Disapproved.

- Pretty easy drop. Provides intimidate as well as being a really powerful stallbreaker, still easily check by ground types. Approved.

- With how good regular Muktaria is, I don't like it having the option of being a bulky DDancer as well. Approved.

- Don't see any future Paradox form worth dropping besides this thing, so it should be okay. Approved.

- Still a bit too strong for UU, its pressence is also not necessary. Disapproved.

- Hits too hard for the current meta. Disapproved.

- Doesn't provide anything of value other than yet another QD sweeper. Disapproved.

- Instantly outclasses Aerodirge and is way too strong. Disapproved.

- Typing is really bad, provides some really nice offensive pressence in UU and is relatively easy to check since it shares checks with Sneasel-prime. Approved.

- Obscenely bulky for the meta, I think it might be too much. Disapproved.

- Definitely a mon that caught the strays from the mons introduced as Eleki counters, still very strong. Disapproved.

- Sand being a thing in UU could potentially make this a bit overwhelming, but I believe its pressence could do more good than harm, especially as a bukly electric. Approved.

- Hell no. This thing is really good in OU, I am not sure why they dropped it but with such a great offensive profile I think this would be too much of a monster revenge killer. Disapproved.

- Looks underpowered even in UU, i think is gonna be fine. Approved.

- There's a huge amount of bulky mons that can deal with this thing, and it provides nice speed control for the meta. Approved.

- Not convinced on the firepower of this mon, Psychic Steel isn't a good offensive typing andi think enough bulky mons are able to take advantage of it. I can see worries people have with this mon, tho, so I don't feel one way or another. Abstain.

- In handsight I don't see any negatives to this dropping even if its ok in OU. Can really help with a lot of mons + its yet another spinner. Approved.

- Good bulky steel type that can also serve as a mini Gambit if needed. Approved.

- In a sea of water types, having one that can hit them neutrally with water stab is really nice. Approved.

- Too fast for the meta, especially since we got no Unaware users of note. Disapproved.

- Actually don't think its that bad. Can't gain speed boosts and is also easy to outspeed and play around. Still I don't think meta is ready. Disapproved.

I like Beaf's proposals for buffs and nerfs except Bouffa-lu, my son has done NO wrongdoings and for every attempt of nerfing it I will be suing for slander (At least buff its HP stat if you gonna remove grass immunity).

Did some matches, Ill have this post be dedicated to covering all of the potential drops. Potential buffs will be discussed as well but I am not doing any OU duscussion here, we literally have a thread dedicated to OU discussion lol.

- I have come to the conclusion that this Pokémon is better suited to settle in OU, since the council is somewhat aware of some of the reasons why this Pokémon completely fell out of favour and it seems like they are going to address that. Plus, this honestly seems like a major hassle to balance for UU rn even if the idea of a bulky Steel Grass is cool. Disapprove.

- This isnt a broken Pokémon, but in my opinion its not necessary. We have a multitude of physical Dark types atm rn, and id think unless more are diverged down a different path, this dropping right this very moment would essentially take out the viability of alot of mons here rn. Imo, this can be revisted once the meta diversifies alot more. Disapprove.

- I like it. But after alot more consideration the meta is just not as ready for it RIGHT now. But since this is a mega evolution, I think these can be unbanned with a more lax attitude than dedicated drops. Disapprove.

- Drop it. Its not a crazy breaker, as many threats can creep it well. Also directly buffs mid monster Sir Bundle (how do we buff him?) and goats like Kilo and Mag, I like him alot. Approve.

- Nope. We do not need more Darks right now, and we surprisingly lack consistent checks to offensive Fairies as well. This would hilariously centralize the metagame around Dark counterplay even more. This shouldnt see the light of UU for awhile. Disapprove.

- Like I said before, revert this to its initial statline + ability and this becomes a fun offensive guy (ensure it is faster than Bomb, but slower than Scoli so that Scoli can do stuff ;-;). Drop with Adjustment.

- Its too strong, we lack consistent switchins rn and we don't need more oppressive Birds, not until we at the very least get more consistent defensive anti bird strategies. Disapprove.

- Keep this OU, its way too good as is and honestly no matter the nerf its base typing and raw stats are excellent for the tier. Ever see a match of Aerodirge? But imagine hitting like 15% harder with Torch Song and having STAB on EPower. Unstoppable. Disapprove.

- Look at what Beaf says about this thing, Im the one who told them about that anyway. Disapprove.

- Nah, keep this guy oit of UU. As I said, we have very minimal checks to this, and zero switchins whatsoever. Your only counterplay is force it to lock into Outrage then Prankster Wisp it with Slither King. Other wise Scarf alone wins versus every good mon in the tier right now. Disapprove.

- Keep it in OU. Disapprove.

This is honestly prettt flexible since as rn it sucks in OU, depends on whether or not you want to give it a shot in OU or UU. Undecided.

- I don't see an honest reason to drop this. It just ANOTHER bird. My thiughts in this align with Beaf's thiughts on Deoxys - yall just have to accept that it's ass. Disapprove.

- Mon is pretty mid, no one cares what it does (this might be me hating hard but we will see). Approve (Buff with Adjustment?).

- Surprised people are that fond of it dropping but I get it, its a fine offensive threat. Approve.

- Hear me out, without all boosts Deo has 55/72/115/72/115/120. I think this can honestly work in the meta if its nerfed. Its still speed tied for fastest mon, but its alot easier to take out prior to its transformation, and is easier to take a hit from once it does. I think it can genuinely work as a cool fast mon. Drop with Adjustment.

- Mon is pretty fine, I disagree with Beaf on it being too fast and strong of a mon, especially with what is being suggested to drop alongside it. I will acknowledge that maybe the Ice immunity hurts specifically Hydra-Pao, but I have alot of points for that Pokémon in regards of a serious rework. Approve.

Lets get this out of the way. Physical Pult kinda sucks. Pult has almost no valuable coverage options on the physical side, sans Superpower, but not only does it have great coverage options like BoltBeam and Fire Blast, but its access to a real secondary STAB in Shadow Ball, or Hex. Ofc in order to get all this SpA, we had to drop its bulk and speed by a good bit. The speed barely matters since nothing naturally outspeeds it now that didnt pre nerf, but the bulk is a pretty notable drop. I decided that in order to level that, I took advantage of council allowing us to give trashmons secondary abilities, taking advantage of its lower bulk to cripple the foe while boosting itself.

Just diverted it's bulk some more, trimming away as much unneeded stat points as possible. Council can probably take a different path, but this is the simplest buff I can think of.

Ability Buff: Levitate + Galvanize. Boosts Ground type moves by 1.2.

Removing the useless 3 points in SpA and the kinda useful 3 points in SpD, and combine that with the single 1 point not used, then dumping that into speed. 82 Speed isnt necessarily great, but it is so much better as a choice user with such a higher speed, notably not needing Scarf to creep metagame staple Mr. Heat, actual². The real bump is the extra boost in damage that EQ grants it overall more power than its regular 120 unboosted attack.

- 95 / 100 / 95 / 110 / 72 / 102

Just distributed the 20 points that were never used, in order to make it stronger, MUCH faster and ever so slightly bulkier. The extra power helps it muscle past threats like Mr. Heat and Hattepon even more. I like the idea of jumping Bomb's speed tier that Beaf suggested.

- 75 / 123 / 80 / 52 / 65 / 108
New Sec Ability: Ferocious (Swarm + Reckless) - When this Pokemon has 1/3 or less of its maximum HP, rounded down, its offensive stat is multiplied by 1.5 while using a recoil attack.

Scoli hard sucks. Even after a probable Bomb nerf it hard sucks. And with what drops, it probably sucks even more. So I went and tried to help it as much as possible. More attack is always useful, and the speed is very important, as it bumps it above the likes of bird. Why I gave it a new ability? Frankly the rate at which the meta is shaping up Intimidate is dangerous. So I gave it a funny side option that can make Brave Bird spam specifically really fun.

Not sure how else to buff a couple of these unmentioned guys, but imo given what probably drops these seemed like the most dire of mons that needed buffs. As for nerfs, I need to confirn what drops and some playtesting before I can solidify what I want to get nerfed and how, and possibly anything else to be buffed.

- I don't really feel like risking this thing in UU at the moment, at least not in its current state. Pseudo-Tinted Lens is probably what pushes it over the line for me, so cutting that and going back to combined effects is probably good enough? Nerf with adjustment.

Celeblim becomes a set up sweeper, either running Meteor Beam or Electric Seed to trigger it, either leading to it being a very strong wincon that can immediately threaten a team.

- Ability Buff: Attitute Adjustment - Effects of Magic Bounce and Defiant

Honestly, most of the Ogerpons are just not good. None of them can compete with Wellspring. This one has Tera and an item slot available though so we need to do something a bit drastic. So I went with Magic Bounce + Defiant which firmly puts it into the king of Hazard Control, blocking opposing hazard setting while punishing any Defog users in the tier. It also makes potential Tera Offensive sets be better overall. Not sure what to do with Cornerstone and Hearthflame tbh.

I actually think quite a few Pokémon are ass on paper - stuff like Zoroshark have done absolutely nothing since launch and I think are borderline unviable, but I haven't seen too much action overall from it, and thus I don't really know how one would buff it. I was hoping the roomtours would happen so we can can either see it perform or get a better grasp of its lack of performance, but alas.

If anything drastic is desired would be for Defiant to also trigger whenever Magic Bounce does to fix the above.
