I've been wanting to get into teambuilding, so I finally tried it by basing an offensive team around one of my favorites, and working from there.

Mr. Egg (Azumarill) (M) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Knock Off
I chose Azumarill because it can gain a lot of attack very quickly. It has an anti-dragon move, and aqua jet for priority, because Azu is often outsped by some mons. For the fourth move slot, I chose Knock Off to weaken certain pokemon. For EVs, I figured boosting its attack some more would be good, and speed for the best chance of outspeeding other mons.

Ronaldinho (Cinderace) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- U-turn
- Court Change
- Gunk Shot
For a pivot, I chose Cinderace, because it's very quick, which I feel is important on an offensive team. It also covers grass types like Ferrothorn that could threaten my precious Azumarill. It also has court change, to counter things like loads of spikes or toxic spikes, and U-turn to pivot into others on the team. For EVs, I used pretty much the same logic as Azumarill, and tried to give it the best chance of outspeeding the opposing team.

Clefable @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Moonblast
- Soft-Boiled
- Stealth Rock
- Wish
I chose Clefable as a physical wall, or a way to lure out anti-fairy mons like Ferrothorn or Excadrill. It also serves as another anti-dragon, and possibly a defense against Dragapult, which does give me trouble. It has Wish for some healing potential, and is one of the stealth rockers on my team. For EVs, I tried to made it very bulky with health and defense, so it could better serve its purpose as a strange pink wall.

Lightning McQueen (Regieleki) @ Leftovers
Ability: Transistor
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Ancient Power
- Rapid Spin
- Volt Switch
Regieleki was another pivot, designed to counter rain teams and other water types, or maybe even enemy Azumarills. For EVs, I figured making it very fast, and helping Thunderbolt/Volt Switch hit harder would be best. It also serves as an anti-electric mon, but that role is better fulfilled by the next on this list.

Excadrill @ Leftovers
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Iron Head
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
Excadrill is my designated anti-fairy and electric resistance pokemon. It also has both Toxic and Stealth Rock for utility. I didn't have a very good idea of what item to give it, so I settled for leftovers for a bit of extra healing. For EVs, I gave it special defense to form it into a sort of specially defensive wall, to compliment Clefable, the physical wall of the team.

Burnt chicken (Moltres) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP / 88 Def / 28 SpD / 144 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Defog
- Flamethrower
- Roost
- Scorching Sands
Moltres was my idea for a ground resistant pokemon for the team, with HDB so it doesn't die on contact with stealth rocks. It's also my hazard control, and another solution to the pesky grass types. I'm not nearly smart enough to come up with an EV spread like this, so this one came straight from the Smogon analysis.
