SV OU [First Post] Goated Scarf Bolt + Lokix Offense (Team carried me to top 250 despite being a shite player, inspired by pinka)

Helo :] Having never made a team, or an RMT before, I felt that this would be cool to share as I recently hit the 1800's despite not really being all too good of a player. I think this team is pretty sick, and I've never ran into a bad matchup tbh (except garg, but I will get into this later)

5g Creatine (Raging Bolt) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Protosynthesis Tera Type: Dragon
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 20 Atk
- Draco Meteor
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch
- Thunderclap
Scarf bolt is an insane mon and is easily one of my favorite parts of this team. This team functions heavily through the use of pivots and bolt can volt switch all over the place, and draco or switch out any ground types attempting to wall it. Ting-lu a very annoying wall for this, however it gets blown up by lokix.

Stripper (Alomomola) (M) @ Eject Button
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Ghost
EVs: 8 HP / 248 Def / 252 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Tickle
- Flip Turn
- Protect
- Wish
Alo serves as wish support and a great physical wall, helping against monsters like Zama. The set is 100% pinkacross' and tickle helps stop a ton of sweepers like dnite or moon.
Alo also serves as an easy way to pivot in the breakers without them taking much damage.

2hollis (Lokix) (F) @ Choice Band
Ability: Tinted Lens
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
Adamant Nature
- First Impression
- U-turn
- Leech Life
- Knock Off
He's the goat. Lokix is easily one of the greatest tools to use against the very HO dominated ladder as of late and is also an essential part of the pivoting core.
Volt-turning between banded lokix and scarf bolt can rip teams apart, however moltres is a very annoying mon for lokix to deal with.

Comic Relief (Hatterene) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Magic Bounce
Shiny: Yes
Tera Type: Steel
EVs: 96 HP / 160 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Nuzzle
- Draining Kiss
- Mystical Fire
- Psychic Noise
This team HATES hazards. Rocks will chip kill the momentum you generate form pivoting and so a magic bounce mon is very important. I have a little defense to help switch on ting-lu,
and mystical fire can help get chip on steel types that might switch in.

Molliwhopin Xd (Iron Treads) @ Booster Energy
Ability: Quark Drive
Tera Type: Flying
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
- Earth Power
As this team is so weak to rocks, a spinner is an obvious need. I have volt-swtich as this team uses pivots to create momentum and being able to volt out on ghost types that switch in
to block hazards has paid off in tons. The original pinkacross team had a seperate rocker and spinner, however I felt as if the AV tusk and heatran weren't doing much to help,
and so I attempted to combine their roles into one with this mon. I'm debating whether or not I should run EP or earthquake, and only am running earth power cause I see other people
do it tbh, if you have any suggestions lmk.

First Day Out (Kyurem) @ Loaded Dice
Ability: Pressure
Tera Type: Ice
EVs: 188 Atk / 92 SpA / 228 Spe
Naive Nature
- Icicle Spear
- Dragon Dance
- Earth Power
- Freeze-Dry
For this last slot, as this team had so much hazard protection, I wanted something that could easily take advantage of that. Originally I was running scale shot, but boosting up with
d-dance has helped me sweep a lot of teams. I was thinking of maybe even trying out that one annoying sub-tect set, however since I haven't had any problems with this set, I haven't thought to change it yet.
Kyurem can usually sweep teams after they're sufficiently chipped down from the volt-turn onslaught, and this also serves as my stall breaker.

I love this team so much, and it's pretty much been the only team that I've used for a while. After only a couple days of laddering I was pretty easily able to reach the 1800s despite not being
the most experienced, and I think that's in large part due to the amount of pivoting going on here. I've also never found any bad matchups; however, the team is very easily 6-0'd by garg, and this is
sadly, something I have just learned to deal with.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated, and I would highly suggest trying this team on the ladder cause it's super fun and seems very powerful :]
