Showdown’s pokemon filtering options are great, and have replaced a lot of the way I search for pokemon that satisfy combinations of specific requirements (eg Have X ability AND learn Y move, or learn X AND Y…). Maybe idk the keyword, but one filter I’d like to use is to filter pokemon by their ability to resist/immune a type (potentially including ability). This is useful especially when team building, if I know I am looking for a ground resist etc.
Example: Right now, I want pokemon learning Taunt AND Fling AND resisting Dark. Just the move filters gives a gigantic list. Filtering individually by Fairy/Dark/Fighting is both annoying and still includes many pokemon that just have a type but don’t resist (like Annihilape).
Suggestion: Keyword filter for pokemon search: “Resist Fire”, “Resist Water”, “Resist…. This would include resistances and immunity. So Heatran (Flash Fire) pops up under “Resist Fire”, and normal immunities like Landorus-Therian “Resist Electric”.
In a similar vein, a filter to include pokemon that are at least neutral to a given type (eg neutral, resist, or immune) would also be helpful.
I could not find this sort of suggestion or feature before. Thanks for your time.
