Hello,
I'm not a very well known person as you may have guessed because you don't know me. However on Shoddy Battle I consider myself an experienced battler since I've played with various different teams and play-styles. This team was made by firstly putting in Lucario, I always put him in the team first and I can't have a team without him which does sort of limit me to certain boundaries but I don't care because Lucario is so awesome it's unbelievable. The second part of my team making process was to look at threat lists in random RMTs. I chose a lot of pokemon that were major threats to teams. The only exception is Latias, whom I put in the team because of it's amazing synergy with Lucario and weakness to Pursuit which also contributes to a Lucario sweep, seeing as all Pursuit users are Choice Banded for maximum damage. Of course I didn't base my team purely off other people's fear, I only chose the threats that I knew how to use, would be useful to get rid of some Lucario-counters and are basically awesome pokemon overall. The pokemon to choose however, were only the beginning as I still had to choose the pokemon with sets that could be useful. I would also like to say that my team is amazing because that there is no weakness to Stealth Rock, in all my past teams I've always had at least one or two pokemon that suffer from Stealth Rock, but now that I'm not so weak its so much of a relief.

Uxie @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/104 Def/152 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- U-turn
- Trick
This is in my opinion the best lead I've ever used but seeing as I've only used about six different leads that may not be all that impressive. The aim of super-lead Uxie is to firstly, set up Stealth Rock, secondly, to cripple other leads or if not the lead a threatening pokemon, the last goal of Uxie is to paralyze everything it can. Before Uxie can set up Stealth Rock though, it must have crippled another pokemon with a Choice Scarf, or possibly made it into a threatening revenge killer. Uxie helps Lucario with all these ways so much. Lucario benefits from Stealth Rock as it helps to secure various OHKOs. Thunder Wave helps Lucario because I reluctantly admit that Lucario doesn't have the best speed compared to say...Ninjask. Back to Uxie, U-turn is the only attacking move Uxie has which is not great, on the other hand it's great for scouting who will come in after I've tricked a lead into Taunt or Stealth Rock. The Evs Uxie uses are to make sure nothing without a Choice Scarf or a stat boost can outspeed Uxie which helps Uxie get rid of it's Choice Scarf 100% of the time. The remaining Evs basically max out Uxie's defences.

Scizor (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bullet Punch
- Superpower
- Pursuit
- U-turn
I just want to start of by saying that before I even came to Smogon I found created a similar set for Scizor whom I didn't even know was popular in competitive battling until I first took a look at the RMT teams. Anyway, Scizor is amazing for my team because of the diversity of the different attacking moves. These moves are different from other moves because although they deal damage they all have something special to offer. Bullet Punch has priority, Pursuit strikes a fleeing pokemon, U-turn helps me scout opposition switches, Superpower is just cool. Pursuit really contributes to Lucario, Pursuit is one of the greatest moves ever. Pursuit is so great because it has the ability to pick off random opponents switching out, especially ghosts and psychics. Both ghosts in OU (Gengar and Rotom) are easily taken down by a Pursuit, assuming Rotom doesn't have Will-O-Wisp or Overheat. Most Rotoms do have Overheat but according to my own recent tests, I think Scarf Rotom is more popular than defensive Rotom; this makes most Rotom's vulnerable to Pursuit. Scizor is also used as my scout and almost always stays to the end or almost the end proving Scizor to be not just an overrated red poohead.

Vaporeon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 188 HP/252 Def/68 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Protect
- Wish
Vaporeon is definitely one of my more trusted servants. Althrough most of the time this isn't one anyone's top ten threats, it certainly should be if it's backed up by a good trainer, like me. Vaporeon made its way on to this team because it is an excellent counter for Gyarados and a very good one to say the least for Salamence. Although Vaporeon doesn't have HP Electric, it has the ability to scare Gyarados into switching, it also has the ability to completely wall the bulky Bounce Gyarados because of Protect and it's immunity to Waterfall. Because of Rotom, Latias and Uxie I have less of a need to ask Vaporeon to deal with Gyarados, therefore I gave Vaporeon Ice Beam to deal with the dragons more easily. I also chose Vaporeon for the fact that it has high defences given the right EV spread, and it can pass wish, which is amazing for my team, especially for Rotom, Scizor and Uxie who have the ability to take hits but lack a recovery move for themselves. Protect can also be used for scouting a choiced move or a suspected choice move. I'm sure everybody recognizes and understands the EV spread.

Latias (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunderbolt
- Surf
- Recover
Latias was mainly put in the team for synergy reasons. Latias has excellent Synergy with both Lucario and Scizor and is willing to take any fire, ground or fighting attack for them thanks to its excellent defences. Latias brings instant speed and power to my team unlike other pokemon in my team who need stat boosting items or just plain stat boosts. I chose this set for Latias because firstly I wanted power without locking myself into a move with Choice Specs and without using Calm Mind, I've tried a Calm Mind Latias before and it really doesn't work for me. The Recover really helps Latias to survive until the late game where it is needed to take hits and deal damage to physical walls for Lucario. Latias is also one of my checks for Gyarados and Salamence seeing as it is faster and has super effective moves on both of them. She also serves as a primary counter or check to various other threats including Infernape, Heatran and Gliscor.

Rotom-h @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Overheat
- Trick
Rotom is my revenge killer obviously. I chose it to be my scarfer for actually quite a lot of reasons. Firstly it is the #1 counter for Scizor and Lucario, not that my team has an absurd weakness to them its just that, well it's a good counter. The second reason that it has a wide range of attacks with excellent coverage and excellent power. In fact, the lowest base power move it has with STAB is 120 powered Shadow Ball. I wouldn't have chosen another special attacker to be my scarfer for fear of Blissey, however Rotom has the advantage with the addition of Trick, which disables many things including Blissey, Snorlax and Crocune. I chose Choice Scarf Rotom-H over the other Rotom forms because of Overheat. To be honest, I don't really need Leaf Storm or Hydro Pump because of how easily swampert is defeated or disabled by my team. Hydro Pump is not needed because I have enough water attacks to cover ground, rock and fire types, and since Hydro Pump is mainly used for Tyranitar it isn't really worth it compared to the amount of things I can hit with Overheat. Just to name a few: Lucario, Scizor, Mamoswine, Roserade as well as almost all other steel types.

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Close Combat
- Extremespeed
- Crunch
The absolute master of Combat. I want to start off by trying to convince you all the Jolly Lucario is worth using. First I would like to mention things that Lucario outspeeds with Jolly only: Jolly Mamoswine, Jolly Heracross, Jolly Gyarados, Jolly Dragonite, some variants of Celebi, Adamant or Mild Electivire, Impish Gliscor, some variants of Jirachi, Timid Suicune, Modest Porygon z, Naughty or Modest or anything with neutral speed Salamence, Tentacruel and some variants of Zapdos and lastly, Adamant Lucario. So it's not just all those base 100s that want to outspeed Lucario! It's those base 80s! Some of them rare I admit but still used. With a Jolly instead of Adamant nature Lucario really doesn't miss any really significant Kos. Anyway, Lucario is my favourite pokemon luckily being in OU so it's a useable favourite. For once in my life I'm using Inner Focus rather than Steadfast because of Choice Scarf Jirachi, even if I get one speed boost its still not enough to outspeed a Choice Scarf Jirachi seeing as they are all Jolly and all have max speed. The biggest threats to Lucario have been covered with the other pokemon, Latias, Vaporeon and Rotom covering Gliscor whilst Rotom and Scizor provide fire power against ghosts. Uxie also helps Lucario in various different ways explained above in the Uxie description.

Thank you everyone who read this and thanks to whoever is going to rate and thank you to me for making and typing out the team and thank you to whoever else is helping or has helped in some way that I haven't mentioned but never mind.
I also have a question: Why is Lucario increasing in usage, I see on a lot of RMTs a Lucario at the moment?
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/104 Def/152 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
