[Fairy] Leader Elevator Music vs FF7Hero

Burd: Hello! Hello! Hello! How is everyone today? Welcome to Elevator Music's very own Fairy Gym Arena. We are surrounded by Fairies here, are we in heaven already McKrow.

McKrow: Heaven or Hell depends on the way you see it.

Burd: Bah! It is definitely Heaven. Where else can you find so many fairies in one place? Look! there is the Tooth Fairy and Look over there! a fairy with Turquoise Hair! Isn't she called a Blue Fairy?

McKrow: I know only about Fairy pokemon and I like Togekiss.

Burd: Everyone from Soreather Town likes Togekiss, but what do you think about all the other fairy type pokemon, they have really made the pokemon world a whole new place.

McKrow: I think that their discovery has only made Steel and Poison Pokemon more offensively driven. And it is the only other type that resists dark and hits back super effectively.

Burd: And the other type that does that is also weak to Fairy, I think it is a very good discovery and some folks have really taken a liking towards them. Like our very own Elevator Music, who has made Fairy pokemon a home in his own gym.

McKrow: Well, with a Fairy Gym you can almost always expect the challengers to carry Steel and Poison pokemon and today's challenger is no different.

Burd: IIRC, he is taking the STEEL qualifiers too right? Trying to be a Gym Leader of Steel pokemon and challenging a Fairy Gym with his well trained Steel Types is no surprise. Although he would need more than well Trained Steel Type Pokemon to win this Gym's Badge.

McKrow: Yeah, Elevator Music is right up there in terms of skill and could be our first Elite Four in ASB.

Referee: {clears his throat} Hmm... The Gym Leader Elevator Music enters the Arena, being welcomed by a huge round of applause and cheer, followed by the challenger who seems to be a knight in a shining armor. Who will order first? Let us have a Toss to decide.
Rules:
3v3 Singles (Challenger brings 3, Leader brings 4)
2 day DQ
2 Recoveries / 5 Chills

1 Mega Evolution

Abilities: ALL
Arena: Fairy Gym Arena
Fairy Gym Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans and Fairy-type Pokemon, the Fairy-type Gym Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are ALMOST no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle. However, the Fairy spectators are impatient and want to see a match. If a trainer hesitates excessively during the battle (read: goes over DQ), they will swarm and attack.

Summary:
- Standard rules
- If you go over DQ (however slightly), the fairies will brutally muder you [Note: if you post in LOA, or give a not-shitty reason AHEAD OF TIME, I won't DQ you]

The Audience being Fairy pokemon are afraid of the challenger and all cheering for the Gym Leader but in hushed tones following one another. They know that their Gym Leader would be the victor today and will not miss a single chance to cheer loudly for Elevator Music and his pokemon during the entire battle.

The Audience also have the Fairy Gym Leader from Kalos, Valerie. Who has come to cheer for a fellow Gym Leader and potential love interest in this Gym.

Round 1: Get Over Here!:

Spr_DP_Reporter.png

"And the two trainers have sent out their first pokemon today.
Both trainers do not waste any time and
Immediately make their pokemon react to their respective mega stones.
This will be a tough battle folks... watch closely."

Burd: Kuchiito intimidates Kaji who is a bit scared but doesn't show it off.

McKrow: A Sassy Kaji then waits for Kuchiito to attack first and then retaliates harder on Kuchiito.

Burd: Kuchiito is careful so as to not trigger any more metallic bursts from Kaji and does minimal damage to it with Brick Break and Crunch.

McKrow: Considering that Crunch has a chance to lower the target's defense, I would have ordered it first.

Burd: Loud Mouth{murmurs} So Kaji uses its raw might to simulate an earthquake that does decent damage to the Metallic Fairy.

McKrow: Now this is a great round for the challenger, he has managed to out-damage the Gym Leader's starting pokemon and has also managed to shuffle Elevator Music's team.

Burd: But who will come out of the pokeball is the question... It is a tense moment folks, hold your breath!

Referee: Togekissu the Togekiss comes out of its pokeball! Now the challenger has the choice to initiate a switch phase.

Burd: Hmm, it is better that Togekiss came out rather than Azumarill.

McKrow: Yeah, the best case would have been Mr. Mime, but I guess the Gym Leader has to battle with his old friend Togekissu.

Burd: This is proving to be a very interesting battle folks, the next round is very crucial for both these trainers. So, don't go anywhere. We will be right back.
100_Year_Old_Wise_Man_%28Sprite%29.png
The battle Expert, Issac Atbu Attling says, "I would personally like to see Mega Gardevoir being used by the Gym Leader, could be an efficient choice against a Mega Aggron."
valerie_sprite_by_gnomowladny-d7u9e8l.png

Valerie, the Fairy Gym Leader of Kalos, says, "Togekiss is under estimated by a lot of trainers, I recommend that you do not do so, as you would pay with your nose if you did."

Spr_BW_Scientist_F.png
"Out damaged and phazed, the battle is currently in favor of the challenger." says a Pokemon Researcher.

Spr_DP_Reporter.png
"There is a lot of cheer from the crowd as they see one of their favorite pokemon coming out onto the field. Ordering first against a Togekiss would be very tough indeed for our Challenger in Shiny Armor."

"It is Round 2 and five pokemon have been out on the field already.
This game is moving fast folks so hang onto your sippers,
as you wouldn't want to miss any action on your visit to the restroom.

Burd: Actually I think we know all the six pokemon who would be battling today.

McKrow: It kind of kills the surprise doesn't it.

Burd: It does, but match-ups are important I guess.

McKrow: They are important, most singles battles are decided plainly on match-ups. But still, having that surprise factor could have helped the Gym Leader in the future.

Burd: May be after their prior encounter, Elevator Music feels that he doesn't need to hold back for any suspense factor.

McKrow: Yeah could be, but the major question is, will FF7Hero be able to make use of this information to his advantage, or this was already expected by him.

Burd: The thing that i am missing here is, how important is an accuracy drop?

McKrow: You could see that the Focus Miss has cost Elevator Music and Bariyaado 8 En while it saved FF7Hero about 21 HP.

Burd: Yeah, but a 15 HP Substitute would have done the same thing for him.

McKrow: Yeah it would have, but you are forgetting Hax; and don't forget we are in the fairy arena.

Burd: Hax has no relevance to arena and imo it was a ver defensive play which was not needed at present.

Flash Cannon~Thunderbolt~Flash Cannon
If Mr Mime has Double Team clones, Discharge and push back
If Mags is asleep, use Sleep Talk (Thunderbolt, Discharge, Gyro Ball, Flash Cannon)
If Mr Mime uses Light Screen, start action string Gyro Ballx3

Round 3: TormenTantalus Totallus!:

"The Leader did a total reordering of FF7Hero's Orders for Mags this round.
replacing his previous round orders with Fail - Struggle - Struggle,
while he built up on his lead. Truly beating FF7Hero's strategy to the ground.

Burd: Hmm, I am not sure how to say this.

McKrow: FF7Hero spent the last round trying to avoid the accuracy drop and it seems that the accuracy drop was inevitable.

Burd: But he could have foreseen that, couldn't he?

McKrow: What I am not able to understand is that; when a person spends an entire round preventing a particular effect, wouldn't that person consider it in the following round too?

Burd: I will just give the benefit of the doubt to FF7Hero and say that maybe he wanted to conserve Mags EN while draining the EN of Bariyaado.

McKrow: I am surprised at how you manage to defend every order...

Burd: And I think that you judge a person too quickly.

McKrow: Well, this is not some street brawl, where your actions can be ignored. Its a Gym Battle, its supposed to be serious.

Burd: Yeah, but it also depends on the person who is battling right? If you were in FF7Hero's place, I am sure Elevator Music would have made you struggle too.

McKrow: I am not sure about that, but one thing I am sure; FF7Hero has to concentrate a lot more if he needs to win this badge and if not, I can see a land slide coming.

Round 4: Magnets' Fall!:

A chill wind was blowing slowly, that caressed the arena floor sweeping within itself the dirt that lay on the ground since the conception of the arena by the Gym Leader. The fairies are watching the proceedings of the battle silently and yet not letting themselves feel relaxed around a floating metal body that was the result of an amalgamation of magnets filled with electric charge.

The shiny metallic coating of the amalgamated body of a creature named Magnezone was covered with a blob of mud that was slapped near its rotating crimson eye, which lowered its visibility, as if, it had tripped itself in a foggy swamp. Its visibility being hampered and the lack of flair shown by the knight in metallic armor, who is the trainer of this heavy electrified magnetic floating metal; meant that Mags, as the name of the creature entails, would be unable to succeed in its battle against the pantomime bipedal humanoid named Bariyaado without expecting everything to go its way.

Mags' only hope to survive this round of bout against Bariyaado would have materialized had it not been suffering from the muddy blob that was slithering down its face distracting it from taunting the humanoid while intimidating and forcing the adept pantomime to be under a state of confusion. Since the electrified floating magnetic metal was unsuccessful in its endeavor, the bipedal pantomime wasted no time in reducing the health of the floating metal to a miniscule while creating an insurmountable milieu for the challenger in metallic armor; who now has to inevitably lead himself to bring his huge magnet to rest for the rest of the day; one way or another.

"Good effort, Mags. Expire with dignity. May flocks of magnets pull you to your rest."

Endure~Flash Cannon~Flash Cannon

NB: I think Mags suffers consecutive energy cost and therefore Endure will KO him A1. Not excited to see how Emma's gonna take advantage of that...
Never mind, just reread Encore's description.

Actually I think the Endure a3 should turn into Struggle (with 0 priority) due to Torment. So depending on whether or not Struggle hits, Magnezone may faint?
