INTRODUCTION+TEAMBUILDING PROCESS

So I already built lots of team from Gens 4-8 and I was thinking about building ADV Ubers.
I went to the viability rankings to find underrated mons and finding exeggutor.
Exceggutor is B Rank in the viability ranking so I thought it was viable, added support mons to it and done!
This is also my most successful ADV Ubers team


So Exeggutor's ability, Chlorophyll, doubles speed in sun and Groudon is the only sun setter

This core is like BlissSkarm except I change Blissey with Snorlax

Needed a lead

And lastly I needed an offensive mon/ sweeper

THE TEAM

Exeggutor may look like weird mon to be in Ubers but it is GREAT. It's double powder set is threatening to cripple mons with sleep. In sun, it ouspeeds nearly everything in Ubers. It outspeeds the Lati@s and shut them down because of the sleep mechanic. (2-5 Sleep turns)
Explosion is good if Exceggutor done it's sleeping job and deal heavy damage in return. Exeggutor is also a check to opposing Groudons because it outspeeds and OHKOs it. Solar Beam is a good move in general to chip things.

Groudon is a needed member for tree man to boost his speed. Also Threatens Steel types
Swords Dance is a good move to break walls, Hidden Power Ghost is a luring tool for the Lati@s ,Earthquake for obvious reasons, and Overheat for Skarmory.
Groudon can be a physical wall too.



So why Snorlax over Blissey? It's because Snorlax can deal more damage, Toxic Immunity and ParaSpam. If the lead is Latios vs SpAttacker (except ogre) it can be a switch in to preserve Latios' health to check Groudon and Kyogre. Fire Blast in Sun deals heavy damage to steels. Body Slam spreads paraysis to cripple the Lati@s and Self-Desturct kills almost all non-resists if I don't need Snorlax anymore.
Other option I thought of: Protect > Earthquake
I already threaten steels with sun boosted fire blast and protect can be helpful to not take explosion damage from Mewtwo and some passive recovery too.



Ah, Skarmory the physical wall. Skarmory walls Groudon without Fire moves and forms a core with Snorlax. It's great against Mewtwo leads because if Snorlax vs Mewtwo the opponent can do 3 things, switch out, boom or stay in (staying in is the least likely option). Since booming is more likely i switch to Skarm on Mewtwo and shrug off the damage. Spikes is a helpful tool to reduce switch spamming. In tandem with Spikes, Whirlwind can blow away mons and make them reveal pokemon in the back. Also prevents Magneton from switching in. Lastly Toxic + Protect ruins things. Also helps figuring out if the opposing Deoxys-A is choice locked or not


Latios lead checks Kyogre/Groudon leads (I dont know much about leads).Calm Mind can potentially sweep teams at the right time. It's speed tier lets it outspeed nearly everything in the ubers metagame.


The absolute best cleaner in the game. Absolute best. Nothing stops Deoxys-A.
It's ability to outspeed almost anything and base 180 in both attacking stats is great. Fire Punch with Groudon's sun lets it KO Skarmory and Forretress and potentially Metagross. Skarmory's spikes help it KO even more things.

yo, dope to see a rmt for the best ubers tier out there. Relatively standard sun team, but still a good team.

First off, I think you definitely want tbolt on lati here. I know it sucks to give up the massive power of thunder, but being all but unusable in your preferred weather is wack (vs say, metagross). I might try to fit refresh onto your set as well, likely over CM, as lead ogre will almost always have thunder wave.

I think skarmory is pretty bad in adv ubers, as 75% of the tier runs thunder(bolt) and the phys attackers you want to wall will either run fire coverage or be paired with mag support. If you want to preserve spikes, I'd replace it with a forretress with a choice of bug coverage to hit the latis harder, or ghost to dissuade gengar's spinblock (spin/boom/spike/hidden power bug/ghost).

An optional change, but one you might want to look into would be spell tag deo-a. Spell tag can help bluff choice band, and with sun support you can often pick up kills vs shit like phys def groudon/steels that otherwise would force you out. a set for that would be shadow ball/superpower/fire punch/solarbeam. Either way, i'd change to a lonely nature, as the only other thing in the speed tier is opposing deo-a, which isn't worth the loss in power.
