EV Training in HGSS - Trainer Rematches

Although it is not as reliable as EV training on wild Pokemon, you can rematch trainers, and luckily for us, there are some amazing spots for EV training.

It is advised that you scout the trainers out yourself before you commit to them for EV training. Their party will be different as the game progresses. Typically, they will not have their final party until you have rematched them several times and you have collected all 16 gym leader badges.

You may need to adjust your DS clock to get the desired time. There are in-game consequences to doing this, such as impeding Berry growth and interfering with the Goldenrod City barber shop brothers.

To schedule a rematch, be in any route that the trainer is not during the correct time of day, and call them on the Pokegear. They will automatically accept a rematch, and will be waiting for you at their location.

3. "luckily" is the correct word in this situation, since it is an adverb.

I was going to GP check this but Sprocket hasn't bothered to update the OP, my VM to him got ignored as well, so yeaaaaaaaaah.
 
Although it is not as reliable as EV training on wild Pokemon, you can rematch trainers, and luckily for us, there are some amazing spots for EV training.

It is advised that you scout the trainers out yourself before you commit to them for EV training. Their party will be different as the game progresses. Typically, they will not have their final party until you have rematched them several times and you have collected all 16 gym leader badges.

You may need to adjust your DS clock to get the desired time. There are in-game consequences to doing this, such as impeding Berry growth and interfering with the Goldenrod City barber shop brothers.

To schedule a rematch, be in any route that the trainer is not during the correct time of day, and call them on the Pokegear. They will automatically accept a rematch, and will be waiting for you at their location.
